David, as our point of contact, had exhaustive knowledge of the roofing installation procedure, including hail and wind damage (which he assisted us with filing an insurance claim). He was always responsive to any and all inquiries we had. He truly wears this company in his heart and with pride.

Roberto, the project leader, had his team on the job promptly at 7:00 a.m. to prep, tear off old roof, remove gutters, and start laying the new roof before the end of day 1. Day 2, they completed the roof, installed the gutters, and thoroughly cleaned the worksite.

The teams worked together to finished our roofing project without any delays and project hiccups.

Community Roofing did a fantastic job on our cedar-shake roof with copper dormers/pans/flashing. We have a historic home, and they understood our passion for preserving the beauty and historic charm while replacing the roof. While shopping around for quotes, Paul provided answers to all of our questions and made sure we received every feature we wanted. A great price, a great service, a great product

After getting quotes from five other roofing companies I’m glad I finally checked with Community Roofing. They were on par with the rest of them, but they were offering a much more complete and quality job for the same price. After signing work started quickly, they tore five layers off my roof and added a new one with no trouble at all. They completed the work quickly with no disruptions to me and my life, and when they were done I had a beautiful new roof and gutters. They were even willing to accommodate my request to add gutter guards after the fact. Chuy and Roberto are absolute professionals.

Community Roofing recently completed a project at my home that involved replacing/repairing the copper valleys and flashing. Jeremy and Bobby did a fantastic job and were a pleasure to interact with. Looking at the finished work you can see that they are true artisans. I told Chuy that I was sorry I didn't have more projects for them to complete. Such a positive experience - I don't know where to begin! We had our roof and gutters replaced with CRR. We worked with sales rep Paul and he is such a gem. Friendly and knowledgeable and did not try to haggle us or anything. After our project was assigned, we were partnered with project manager Roberto. Let me tell you he is the most helpful and communicative person I've come across in the trades. He called us every day with any relevant updates and was just overall so friendly and always available. Lastly, shout out to the roofers. There was a morning dove nest in our gutters that had a baby bird in. The roofers moved the nest with such care...the baby lived, mom came back, and baby flew the coop with no incident. 10/10 recommend Community Roofing.

I had my roof replaced by Community in 2020, so I decided to use them again for new siding this year. Paul was a big help with choosing materials and colors. And Nate made sure that the work progressed smoothly and efficiently. The crew worked quickly, and every detail was perfect at the end. The entire project was finished in only 3 days!

We had a very positive experience with Community Roofing. Paul came out to give us an estimate the day after I called, and he was very thorough. Our project manager was Chuy and he stayed in good contact with us. They came when they said they would and all the team worked very hard. The roof took about a day and a half but because of weather they did the gutters the next day. It looks great; I am very pleased and would certainly use Community Roofing in the future for other projects.

Community Roofing provides excellent service, work, craftsmanship, and communication. The initial consult was quick but thorough, and a quote was given via email within a couple of days. We chose to go with Community Roofing because they were significantly less expensive than other quotes we got, but had provided higher quality work in the proposal (special details like changing the fascia of our roof so we could use standard gutters, not hanging gutters), they were efficient with our time, and provided above and beyond service. We're really pleased with the results, they did VERY quick work (two days) and made sure we were nice and dry ahead of a huge rain storm. They communicated with us the entire time via their project manager, Chuy (who was also excellent.) Can't recommend the entire team enough - you will get an amazing product and above and beyond service from Community Roofing.

It's hard to find companies that operate like Community Roofing. The proposal process with Paul was educational, organized and detailed. I really appreciated the attention to detail and follow up with Josh. Working through the project, Chuy was always available and helped to clean up a few details on the soffit and gutter extensions. Just had my roof replaced on my house and garage. I can't say enough how impressed I was with Community Roofing from the bidding process to the completion of the job. Community Roofing also coordinated the work on the Chimney and the replacement of all the Gutters.

My husband and I had a pretty serious leak over our porch roof that unfortunately appeared after another roofing company did some work for us (despite their having put in a new roof). So I contacted Paul Bistan at Community Roofing and Restoration (after a recommendation by my neighbor who has very high expectations) and sought his opinion. From the start Paul was honest and professional, sharing thoughts about the issue. He encouraged us to try to resolve it with the initial roofers. When that did not go well, I went back to Paul who committed to repairing the problem which had to do with the flashing on our two dormers.
I made arrangements with him to initiate the project and then his coworker and Project Manager, Casey Gaffney, took over the coordination of it. Within a very reasonable amount of time, Community Roofing came with the necessary materials and completed the repair work. The two roofers, Joel and Chuy, were friendly and diligent and spent the time needed to get it just right. Their craftsmanship was evident as the flashing repair was challenging and required attention to detail with the shingles in matching up again. It looks great, and most importantly, they provided a solution to our leak.
Since the project has been done, Casey and Paul have both checked in with us to ensure our satisfaction. We have been very pleased with the outcome and have had no leaks despite many rains since then. It has been such a relief to have this repair done, and we would recommend Community Roofing and Restoration to anyone who needs professional, skillful and ethical people who care about their customers. Community Roofing gave our home a brand new look and brought it back to life! The roof, gutters, downspouts, soffit and facia look absolutely stunning. We needed to replace our 5 sunroom windows because of some rotting wood. Nate and his team did a great job with the removal and install of windows. One of the most expensive repairs you’ll ever need to make to your home is the roof. So when considering a roofer you’re going to consider two things: will you do a good job and what will it cost. That’s where insurance plays a major part.

Before I tell you my story of why you should use Community Roofing & Restoration allow me to first disillusion you of the roofing industry in Wisconsin. According to Brian, their sales representative I worked with, there isn’t a Commissioner for roofers. “Anyone can call themselves a roofer with no qualifications.” He used that to justify why they’re so expensive. But I had insurance picking up the tab, so I wasn’t worried. Silly me

They spoke with my insurance agent who told them repeatedly, “ANY billing you have needs to be directed to me. I’m going to make sure my client’s house is taken care of.” Now they didn’t know (or need to know) I was switching insurance, and this was the FINAL thing my current insurance company would cover. And as a preexisting issue, my new insurance company wouldn’t cover it!

As they worked on my house, Chuy, the lead worker on my project, called to tell me he found some rotting wood under the roof and that would cost another $2,000. I told him, “That’s fine. Make sure you tell the agent since my insurance is picking up the tab!” He agreed so I thought everything was fine. Community Roofing & Restoration sent the bill to my agent for the estimate. My agent payed that original estimate and bid me farewell. THEN Community Roofing & Restoration sent ME the bill for the additional $2,000!!!!!

When I asked Chuy why they didn’t change the bill and include the additional $2,000 for rotten wood when they billed my insurance, he didn’t have a good explanation. All he could say was, “We did the work and we need that money.” Next thing I know, I started getting calls from their billing person, Amber. Then she starts sending emails suggesting they’ll put a lien on my house for their billing stupidity!!

To be clear, the work they did was satisfactory. Their billing work could easily be done better by 5th graders!!

Stay away from this company!! They don’t know how to bill insurance properly and you’ll get stuck with the bill!!!

** To address the continued MISINFORMATION from the owner, when they posted a response saying they’ve “been trying to contact me” (to suggest on ongoing efforts). For anyone believing that spin, there was exactly ONE phone call. And it was a curious call. Amber claimed she read my post and didn’t understand what the problem was.

Furthermore, to clear up the “confusion,” yes, the insurance company sent me a check based on the invoice Community Roofing & Restoration sent them. I in turn sent that to Community Roofing & Restoration. Are we clear on that? Good. My ISSUE is you didn’t adjust your invoice to include the rotten wood you said you found!!!!!!!! If you would have included the cost of the rotting wood in the INVOICE you sent my insurance company, they would have included that dollar amount in the CHECK to COVER the repair!!

But Community Roofing & Restoration did not perform the simple task of adding the additional cost.

To be clear, you sent my insurance company the original invoice that did NOT include the rotting wood your contractor said he found. If that additional cost would have been included, my insurance company would have covered it. I hope that helps Amber.

We've used Community Roofing for a few projects and have always been happy. I really appreciated their efforts to save us money on a recent unexpected roof project, while still doing a top quality job.

We had a great experience from start to finish with Community Roofing and Restoration. Our initial visit was with Steven who did a great job laying out the options we had for replacing our rubber roof and making an extra trip out so we could color match the new materials. Casey worked with us on the project itself and was able to get our project completed months ahead of schedule. We were so happy to have our work completed in December when we were originally slated for late spring! He was helpful answering questions during & after the work and sent a ton of great information and photos showing the various stages of the roof being replaced.

The team that was here was great and all of the plants that were in their work area were undisturbed. Our roof is better than it was before, with nicer looking trim around our chimney and detailed work done where the rubber roof met our gutters. We're fairly certain they fixed our gutter level issues in the process, too. Everyone at CRR was very easy to reach, communicative at all stages, and great to work with. We will definitely use CRR again for any future work on our home.

We chose Community to install a new flat roof on our garage, after checking out a number of roofers. Chris and his team did an excellent job, installing the roof and replacing our old downspouts and scuppers. I was very pleased with the repair work on my roof by Domenic Fernandez on December 19, 2023. His communication prior to the repair work was great. And, he was thorough in his explanation of the cause of the damage, & what was needed to repair the damage. The repair work was completed the afternoon of December 19, 2023. He is a knowledgeable, courteous, & thoughtful member of Community Roofing & Restoration.

My condo community had gutters replaced over the summer that turned out great. We also had a water leak by a window and some rotten wood fixed. Chris was involved in the gutters and did the smaller two jobs. Chris was easy to work with and we hope to be using Community Roofing again in the future.

We recently had our roof, replaced by Community Roofing and restoration. In every way, the experience was very positive. Before we signed the contract, we went through all of the details. The person we met with was very thorough and answered all of our questions and concerns. When the job started, we were regularly updated and again all of our questions were answered promptly and completely. The roofers were highly skilled and committed to doing quality work. We would recommend Community Roofing and restoration without any reservations. By the way, they were recommended to us by several of our neighbors.

After doing my research, I decided to go with CRR for the highly complex job of installing 8 skylights with custom combination flashing on the roof of my historic bungalow. After working closely with multiple staff from CRR throughout the entire project, I don’t think I could have chosen a more professional contractor for this daunting task.
Casey Gaffney (project manager) was extremely detail oriented and walked me through all the specifics of my unique project before work even began. His communication and attention to detail reassured me that all of this unique work would be done to the highest standard. Due to the complexity of the job, Casey put one of CRR’s most qualified installers (Kyle Northrup) in charge of the project due to his decade+ experience doing technical skylight work. It was a pleasure working with Kyle and his team of roofers. They were true professionals with great communication skills and did an absolutely beautiful job on installing the windows.

A few days before Thanksgiving, I called Community Roofing to report a problem with squirrels chewing holes in the flat roof which Community had installed approximately 5 years earlier. Within a few days, the Project Specialist came over to take a look. He took pictures and reported the problem to one of their repairmen. The day after Thanksgiving, the repairman was on-site and patched the holes. I can't say enough about the fantastic service from everyone involved at Community and would highly recommend them to anyone in need of roofing services!

**UPDATE** 03/12/24 - Changed from 3stars to 4stars. The company installed siding, gutters, soffit, fascia & gutter guards on my garage. The workers were all very friendly, knowledgeable & proficient. I am very pleased with the install. They are working with me and my time schedule because I'm juggling a few projects. The next project from Comm Roof & Rest will be on the house.

**UPDATE** 11/27/23 - Changed from a 1star to 3stars. The owner reached out and is scheduled to come out for a quote/proposal. I'm still hopeful I can reach 5 stars like the other reviews.

I was hopeful this company would live up to the positive reviews I read. My experience was nothing positive. The employee came out to my house, talked through the process and told me it may take over a month to get a quote. I wasted 2 months waiting to hear anything. I get email solicitations from them so I know they have my contact information.

The installers of our garage siding were fast, professional and the quality of the workmanship was top-notch. The clean up was perfect and I am definitely having them back to do the roof. These guys are the real deal and they had the best price! My husband and I were beyond impressed!

Sept 2024 we had community roofing back to our property to replace our roof and again received a stellar price, stellar service and the house looks great. The pains that they went through for the detail on the fascia were particularly impressive as they had to work around awning frames in one large stretch of fascia. Don't call anyone else. If you need exterior remodeling or repairs done these are the people to call. Again my husband and I are just thrilled with the end result of the job.!

I have used Community Roofing many times over 25 years. Most recently they replaced four windows in my home. Armando did all the work: removal, installation, touch up painting inside and outside. Armando was exceptional: experienced, capable, easy to work with, thorough, and (very important) easy to communicate in person or via text. He was polite and thoughtful. He wanted to know what I thought, and what more I needed. He is an exceptional individual who greatly exceeded my expectations. In just over one day's time, all four windows were in, and everything was perfect. This project went so well, I will likely replace my remaining three windows with Armando and Community Roofing.
