We had a lot of hail damage on our roof, gutters and siding. A neighbor recommended these guys and I couldn't be happier. They explained the process and met with the insurance guy. The insurance was trying to get out of paying for a couple things (imagine that) and Mile High talked to they got the insurance to pay for all the damages. The whole process couldn't have been better. I would highly recommend Mile High Exteriors.

We are very happy with the quality of the job done on our house by MHEC, replacing siding, facia, and gutters. They did everything they said they would, they did all inspections, they helped me update any additional problems that I had. They were professional, and I think the owners were on site every day personally checking the work. We highly recommend them. We found their work to be of high quality. It was nice to find someone who actually follows through, and we even felt like they had our back. They were a joy to work with.

We have a tile roof and have had an issue with the water over shooting the garage gutter for years and eroding the concrete drive & sidewalk. LaPrell & Kashmira came out from Mile High Exterior Construction and accessed what was causing the issue.
They explained that tile roofs have a higher roof line than the traditional Asphalt shingles. So, these two ladies explained since the gutter run was not that long they had their employee install a diverter on top of the existing 5 inch gutter. So, as the water is coming down in large amounts or at high speed it would hit the gutter diverter & fall back into the gutter. They also suggested to install a 3x4 downspout so the water would drain quickly. The craftsmanship looks great!

I called MHEC to have my roof inspected. I had just acquired my home recently and wanted to make sure the roof was in good shape after we had dealt with some ice damming over the winter. Kashmira and LaPrell (the company owners) personally came out to my property and got up on my roof to check things out. Fortunately, everything looked good and I was advised that nothing was currently needed. They even cleared my gutters of built up plant debris while they were on the roof. I have nothing but great things to say. LaPrell and Kashmira were both incredibly friendly and I had a good time just chatting with them. While I did not purchase a service from MHEC this time, I will certainly be going to them when the time comes for roof or siding work. Its clear that this company operates on truly quality customer service which is something direly missing from a lot of other contractors I have dealt with.

OMG! Laprell and her amazing crew had the job done in 1 day. I’m a very picky customer and the job was perfection!! Laprell even blew out my leaves in the yard during cleanup. I would recommend them to anyone.

We have used MHEC for one major exterior renovation of our house that is over 130 years old, and most recently, a second smaller project. We also hope to use them for roof replacement soon too. Mile High Exterior Construction did an excellent job for us. We have a house that is over 100 years old and was not just in need of some fairly urgent repairs but also well overdue due in general exterior maintenance. We had some very old cedar siding that was rotting and allowing squirrels to chew through into our walls. It’s very annoying to be woken up extra early to the noise of squirrels running around in your bedroom walls! I was not sure who to call and asked around but either no one was available or they never called me back. So I did an internet search for the region around Boulder and the MHEC website came up. I left a message and they promptly called me back and were out to look at our “squirrel condos” within a few days. I was very impressed with how knowledgeable and friendly LaPrell was. She noticed things that other roofers & contractors had also told us needed to be fixed but also suggested some additional improvements that would make our house look better and stop potential problems from getting worse. For example, suggesting we take down a vine that was damaging the exterior walls. Our house is now squirrel and vine free with a fresh new look that LaPrell helped us to create by suggesting a new color scheme and design elements. The MHEC crew was courteous and receptive to our needs. Many of their employees have been with them for a very long time. We actually missed having them around once they were all done. We will definitely call MHEC back for future jobs because we know we can trust them to be fair, honest and do an excellent job.

We hired MHEC to paint the exterior of our home in the summer of 2018. They did a phenomenal job and were so attentive to every detail. LaPrell was on site daily throughout the project and was conscious of our needs as well as ensuring the contractors were doing their job efficiently and to her standard. From top to bottom, we are thoroughly satisfied. Not only did they paint, as was our main goal, they helped us make improvements in our downspouts as well as taking steps to protect our foundation. They also repaired a few roof tiles checked in with us frequently as we walked around our home looking for places to touch up. LaPrell is fantastic to work with! Her expertise and knowledge of techniques and quality of materials are outstanding. Her follow up is sincere and she ensures that the work completed is top notch quality. We discovered a potentially leaky roof in a family house that we were trying to sell. The roof had been installed 3 years ago by another roofer and we were looking for a second opinion. LaPrell was incredibly helpful and informative, going way beyond the extra mile, to make sure I understood all our options and plans of action that didn't involve hiring a second opinion. And this happened not once, but twice. She even followed up a few days later just out of concern. You can feel the professionalism on the other end of the phone. We're definitely contracting Mile High Exterior Construction to handle the new roof that we're going to need in our own house this coming Spring.

MHEC replaced my roof and gutters a year ago due to hail damage. I was very happy with their work and called them again to remove a broken swamp cooler and then repair the roof. They came out two days later and did the work in just a few hours. I'm very happy with their work and how they treated me as their customer.

MHEC did a project of replacing siding, fascia, and trim boards that were deteriorating due to age, weather, slip-shod roofing jobs, and sloppy painting jobs. I will never get another bad roofing or painting job again, as I will continue to use MHEC for any exterior work. They take pride in their work like no other contractor I have used in the 24 years of owning a home. Unless a homeowner gets up on the roof, they have no idea what nightmares are lurking up there. They found areas of neglect weathering and properly repaired them. My home's exterior life has been extended and beautified.

They do excellent work and are very reasonable in price and responsive! We had gutters and downspouts replaced and they look great and work well! I highly recommend them for any exterior work on your home.

What started out as a house painting project (with another company) turned into a much larger project and I am very glad I turned to MHEC. Closer inspection during the paint quoting process revealed an exterior in various stages of disrepair from age and poor craftsmanship. After researching on-line (including the BBB), reading various reviews, and consulting local businesses, I included MHEC in the quoting process for the repair work. Once I met LaPrell and we concluded the first walk-around of the house to discuss what needed to be done, I knew I had found the right company and people. We spent a lot of time discussing what I wanted done as well as her recommendations based on the condition of the house—and the communication was excellent throughout the whole project. From re-siding one complete wall of the house, to replacing trim, repairing problem areas of siding, replacing all of the leaky gutters and performing general carpentry, the whole MHEC team did an exceptional job. It may sound cliché to say that they treated my home like they would their own, but it really is true. LaPrell also went above and beyond by working with Comcast (you know how that can be) and CenturyLink to move exterior junctions and coordinated with the painting company for scheduling purposes. And speaking of going the extra mile, when my basement partially flooded after the house was power-washed by the painting company (totally coincidental) her husband Harold and their crew immediately came out to give me a hand. They lent me their own personal shop-vac for a week while I tried to salvage the carpet and LaPrell also enlisted the assistance of a structural engineer to help diagnose the issue (faulty no-freeze sillcock). Great company, great people and high-quality work. I will turn to MHEC first for all of my large projects and repairs. Thanks, MHEC!

I needed to have my gutter replaced on my front deck due to my house shifting and settling. Before we had a giant 3 inch thick sheet of ice that would form because the gutters weren't on right and it was leaking behind the gutter. Due to our extreme cold weather during the winter which only gets colder at night only making the issue worse. After MHEC came to save the day the water in the trouble areas was non existent, leaks were no where to be found, and the work looked beyond professional compared to what it was. Anyone looking for a professional roofing company that really is a jack of all trades, MHEC is the one to call...you won't be disappointed.

This is the best roofing company in the metro area. They are well experienced in commercial as well as residential. They take very good care of tenant/occupants, are honest and do what they say they will. They are equally experienced and comprehensive in exterior trim.

I found Mile High Exterior Construction by doing an online search for siding repair in Broomfield as we like to keep our money in our community. I was very happy to find Mile High Exterior Construction. Harold and LaPrell were amazing to deal with throughout the entire process. They came and gave an extremely detailed, written bid with photos and even made very helpful suggestions regarding other things to be repaired for aesthetics and functionality. Daniel showed up on time every day, and did a beautiful job with siding repair, painting, cement repair, a window frame repair, and a few other odds and ends! The bid was reasonable for everything MHEC did and especially for the quality workmanship they put into it. We are very picky about how things look and are usually disappointed with the workmanship of most contractors today. We are BEYOND happy with the work MHEC did for us and will definitely call them again for anything we need done.

MHEC worked on a commercial flat roof that was improperly installed years before. The improper installation cause water to seep through the cinder block walls and down into the basement of this building. MHEC evaluated the problem and corrected the flashing and gutter sizes. This corrected all issues and the problem has not occurred since. That was back in 2015.

MHEC also worked on a residential home for a homeowner looking to sell. The gutters were adjusted and cleaned, and the home was painted. All work was completed in a timely and clean manner, with little impact to the neighbors around the home or the other work occurring within the home. Very pleased with the finished product.

Mile High Exterior Construction painted our 1910 bungalow and were wonderful. They were great to work with; effective communicators, timely, reasonably priced and did a terrific job. We have some tricky architectural details on the columns on our porch and LaPrell painted them, herself. We highly recommend this company and loved supporting a family business-you can tell they truly care about their customers and their business.

Primarily, we needed some siding replaced that was underneath the electrical box. There was also some other siding and trim repairs that were needed.

We contacted Mile High Exterior Company to replace some damaged siding on our house. When they came out for the free estimate, they took the time to walk around the entire house, inspecting all of it, and making recommendations and proposing fixes for things that should be repaired. The estimation process was very accurate. When the work began, they worked hard to keep us in the loop and to let us know what was happening that day. When they had completed the work, they made sure that we were pleased and that we did not have any questions or concerns. When we did have a question or concern, they answered it promptly and accurately and if there was a concern, they addressed it completely. We are very pleased with the work they did and working with the entire team at MHEC was a very good experience. We cannot recommend them highly enough.

MHEC recently repaired and painted the exterior of my house, installed new gutters and downspouts, and sealed cracks in the foundation and the surrounding walkways. They did a fantastic job! I originally consulted with MHEC to reconfigure some of my gutters and downspouts to reduce erosion. They designed and installed creative cost-effective solutions that have been working great with the spring storms. They also were able to obtain the exact colors that I wanted in the gutters, downspouts, and paint. LaPrell and Kashmira assessed the project with great care and took detailed measurements while thoroughly discussing the scope of the project with me to ensure that all my needs were met. Daniel is highly skilled, and his work is top quality. He was courteous, professional, prompt, and extremely hard working. MHEC’s attention to detail exceeded my own and they ensured that everything was done to my satisfaction as well as to their even higher standards. I was so pleased with their work that I kept adding on more for them to do. I highly recommend MHEC.

A few years back Laprell put my roof on my house. This she trimmed my house,and it came out amazing. I have recommended her to family and friends. And they too enjoy the services that Mile high exterior has given them. I will use them on future projects.

When other companies told Mom her job was too small, or didn't even give us the courtesy of a call back, MHEC came to her rescue! Her new siding matches the old beautifully. Soffits were restored and trim was replaced. Her place looks brand new! Can't thank their courteous and kind staff enough. We feel like family! Not one piece of anything was left on the driveway or in the yard. Plus, their representative contacted Mom's insurance company so we wouldn't have that headache on top of our loss.
An extra note: Their firm had phone line issues, so to the person who gave a negative be ause of not getting a call back, consider that it might have been a technical issue.

Mile High Exterior Construction, LLC was a great company to work with! Kario and LaPrell spent time with me and my wife to see what our Gutter and Downspout needs were. The explained why we needed to change from a 2x3 Downspout to a 3x4 Downspout since we have a lot of tree coverage. They cleaned up so well we couldn’t even tell they had been there. The Gutter and Downspout installation complete changed our curb appeal. We are looking forward to working with them again on some other home improvement projects.
