Axe Roofing

We had a great experience with Axe Roofing. Everything you want in a roofing company – integrity, quality work, responsiveness, etc. Prior to finding Axe Roofing, we had spoken with two other local roofing companies and had serious reservations about both (one tried to coach us on lying to our insurance company, and neither responded to requests for references and proof of insurance). Kyle (Axe Roofing) encouraged us to file an honest claim with our insurance and promptly provided us with references as well as proof of liability and workers comp. insurance. The references we called all spoke highly of their experience with Axe Roofing and invited us to drive by their homes to see their roofs (which we did). Kyle educated us throughout the process – on the pros & cons of impact-resistant roofing, ridge vs. turtle vents, and on the steps involved in an insurance claim. He worked tirelessly to find us a quality shingle in the dark green color we were looking for, and sent us addresses to see various brands, styles, and shades of green roofs installed throughout the metro (and mountain) area. Once the insurance company agreed we had hail damage, Kyle worked directly with them to get coverage for many items not included in the insurance company’s original loss calculation. Kyle took care of all permitting issues with the city. He patiently answered (and sometimes re-answered) our numerous questions. We were having skylights replaced at the same time, and Axe was the only one of the 3 roofing companies that was willing to coordinate the roofing install with the skylight experts (instead of insisting on doing the skylight work themselves). Kyle communicated clearly about scheduling. He was available by phone, text, and email. He promptly addressed minor issues that arose during installation. We wholeheartedly recommend Axe Roofing, and would use them again in a heartbeat.

Had some hail damage on one of our rental properties and AXE roofing made the whole process easy from beginning to end. They are very responsive and professional. I recommend using them for all your roofing repairs.

I had my roof replaced by Kyle and crew from Axe Roofing this past summer. Fantastic group to work with! I was up against some tight timing constraints and Kyle was able to put together an action plan and got my roof replaced without any issues. He walked us through every step of the process and was extremely patient working with the insurance company, bank, and our inexperience in this process. As far as the quality of the work - nothing but good things to say! The roof was an exact match as my old one and they were even able to work in an affordable high-impact upgrade to give us some peace of mind out in Hail-alley. All work was coordinated over a weekend we were out of town, so there was zero impact or disruption! Highly recommend the crew over at Axe Roofing!! Fast, clean, and Professional! Hope to never have to replace a roof again, but will use Axe Roofing again in a heartbeat for any future repairs or upgrades.

Axe Roofing is a great company, Kyle really took great care of us throughout the whole insurance claim/roof repair process. He worked hard to get us compensated correctly by our home owner's insurance to cover the complete repair/replacement of our roofs for the main house and the garage. He explained every step beforehand and throughout the process he was always available to answer any questions I had. I highly recommend Axe Roofing and would gladly trust them with any future projects on my home.

I called axe roofing initially to help with an ice dam problem in our house. Braden inspected the roof and offered different alternatives to fixing the problem. We decided to replace our roof while we were at it since it was an old roof and the home insurance would covert it. By the time the snow melted enough, Braden was busy with other projects so Kyle took over. He met with the adjuster and everything was approved. I was given a schedule for the project shortly thereafter. Overall, I was very satisfied with their courteous and prompt service. All documents were delivered via email. Communication was flawless and everything went off without a hitch. They also fixed our leaking skylights in a quality manner while they were at it. I highly recommend this company for your roofing needs. I will be using them again this fall to install roof heating coils.

Axe Roofing was a pleasure to work with. We had a leak after a snowstorm and they got us on the schedule right away. Kyle came out and not only explained how we could seal the leak, but also provided us with all of the paperwork and storm information we needed to file a claim with our insurance company. We had our shake shingle roof replaced this summer and all the staff at Axe Roofing were great to work with from the beginning to the very end. They helped us in selecting a new composite roof (discussed pros and cons of various shingles) and discussed the various options available as new features (e.g., new venting on roof). They also worked closely with our insurance company to insure a complete and timely installation. I would definitely use them again. It was great to use a local contractor.

Axe Roofing replaced roofs damaged by hail for me at three properties during the summer of 2019. Everyone at Axe (Kyle, Braden, and Kristine) was responsive and helpful! They assisted with getting the insurance claims filed and processed, as well as doing a great job on roof replacement and clean up after their work was complete. Many roofers wouldn't return calls or show up at a scheduled time given all the with hail storms the area has had. However, Axe was consistently responsive to communication and they always showed up to do estimates and work as scheduled. I couldn't have asked for more and would highly recommend them.

I am very happy with the work done by AXE Roofing. They sent 9 people to remove old roof and installed new roof in 4 hours. I have noticed one roof company used only 3 workers to replace the roof of one house on my street. It took them more than 12 hr to get the work done. It rained in the middle of their work. Kyle Cohrs(project manager) and Julie (office coordinator) were very friendly and efficient. Mr. Cohrs was very effective to communicate with my insurance company and county inspector. I am very satisfied with the quality of AXE roofing. They also did a small favorite for me - ordered and delivered 2 new window screens for me as I don't have a pick up truck or SUV to carry large window screens.

I had two inspection items to resolve to help my mother sell her house. Axe was very prompt in both the scheduling and the repair; even sending me both before and after pictures that I could forward on to the buyer. I would recommend them to anyone !!

I cannot say enough to commend Axe Roofing for their services. They were in all aspects professional, thorough and dedicated to quality. Staff were efficient but friendly and accessible as we planned the project. The crew was hard-working--quick but attentive to detail and doing things the right way. Absolutely fantastic! I am rough on contractors and had a very hard time finding a roof company I felt I could trust. My damages happened almost one year ago when I FINALLY found Axe roofing. Gary, Anthony, Leo, and the crew were wonderful, the communication with these guys is unbelievable; texts answered within hours, yeah hours; phone calls and status updates on the work within literally hours. Any question I had they were right there to answer without complaint. You absolutely cannot go wrong with these guys I mean just top notch professionals. They have safety meetings, ensure their crew is safe and their wellbeing comes first (which is critically important to me as well). Leo was my project manager and he went above and beyond to make sure I was happy, his crew was safe and he pointed out (and fixed) loose latch hooks on the roof, I would have never noticed that this safety item was defective but he did and he fixed them....I can't say enough great stuff about this company except to say that you will not be disappointed with the high standards and quality of work they hold themselves too. Braden is awesome to work with and made time to really educate my clients about the roof on the house they were buying. It was so refreshing that he even stopped by and checked the repairs to make sure the company that did the repairs did a good job. I would recommend him to anyone!

Amazing, if I could give more than 5 stars I would!! This company was great to work with! I am a huge worrier and this company made the entire process easy! They were able to get a new roof for us installed very quickly which really helped in the process we were making to sell our house! Not only that, they are thorough and do things right. They made sure the roof was fixed as well as proper gutters and overhangs were repaired since they were damaged as well. Will definitely recommend to anyone looking to get their roof replaced!

"Since I waited so long to file my claim, I was told by my insurance company they would only cover $5.000 worth of damages after the huge hail storm. I clearly had more damage then they were willing to cover, as all three roofs were hit.
