Everything went great from start to finish in repairing the roof on my Victorian house. They replaced shingles, repaired drains, pipes and flashing on three chimneys. Shout out to Andrew and his crew for the exceptional job!
I would highly recommend MB Roofing if you need roof repairs or replacement!

I'm going to start this with my experience was one in a million. I'm not going to go into details, but list things to keep an eye on with this company before you go through what we did
I signed a contract with MB Roofing august 4, 2021. Work didn't start until half October 14, 2021
First, Rhode Island has this amazing website crb.ri.gov that you can look up licenses on. It tells you if companies have any violations. Make sure the license is active, and not suspended
Secondly, make sure they give you insurance paperwork, before you do anything. Call them even, and make sure it's still active. I only found out when there was an issue that they didn't have any kind of insurance at all
This company is not commercial or industrial, they are general contractors, which is shown on the crb.ri.gov site. This means they can not work projects that are over 2,000 square feet, or anything involving more than 2 units
They are not BBB accredited, or even registered
Make sure they do test cuts if applicable, and aren't just doing the easiest thing for them
Make sure they get a permit to do any work, and check with the town and get a copy
Make sure to go through the contract bit by bit, and if you have any questions, contact crb.ri.gov or a lawyer, I was informed the contract I signed was missing quite a bit of necessary information
Be very cautious with this company if you decide to go with them, but I would sincerely advise another company. This company will say whatever they need to say to get into your pocket

I didn't review until the insurance was done
Now, I'll add details, since you got your side of the story out, and are playing victim
'Money will make people do crazy things', like not having insurance for possible damages, or even insurance for your workers should anything happen to them on the job. Meaning should anything happen to his workers on the job, that worker can sue you for damages
We had our drains checked immediately after the roof was finished, and all drains are intact and working properly, and were not replaced by MB Roofing
None of the damages caused were anywhere near where our drains are located, and are all located around the seams that were unfinished during the 'Nor' Easter' we got in October, 2021. This was corroborated by both another roofing company and our insurance company, as well as the CRB investigators that came out
With concerns of impending weather, the company was alerted about the Nor' Easter. Temporary tape was not used, tarps were not used, I doubt sealer of any kind was used, as our community sustained over 150k in damages, to 7 units and common areas. His claim of one damaged unit is ludicrous, he was shown 3 units sustaining damages
Was there a unit that took damage in July that led to the first call? Yes. And did the same unit take damages again? Yes. In different areas, and neither incident located within 6 feet of the drains. The unit below that one also took damages
The prior damage was not sustained from 'improper installment from a prior company', but due to the roofs age, which needed replacement. But I was told that may have gotten OSHA involved, and was too much hassle
At this point, the company suggested putting a secondary roof on our building, which, knowing nothing about roofing myself, trusted the 'proffessional'
2 months later I called another roofing company. With winter coming and our materials still not in, we were getting anxious about repairs. They took test cuts, which showed we already had a second roof on this building. Rhode Island building code notes that there is only one secondary allowed
MB was willing to break building code, for 46k
At which point, rather than lose the contract, they broke best practice and tried to replace our old secondary
No, I did not honor the contract, as the Association had to pay a $25,000 deductible, that you claim no liability for. Which more than covered the rest of our contract.

We are very pleased with the work the MB Roofing team did on a new rubber and regular tile roof! They worked non-stop and it looks great! We highly recommend their services!

This company came promptly to evaluate our roof. They recommended replacement rather than repair. They offered prompt quoting. They were able to make repairs. They were largely professional and responsive to our questions and inquiries.

Joe and the guys were very good reasonable and didn’t mind answering my questions even when they were busy the roof looks great

Guys did a great job on a big job. They even made sure the clean up was done to our expectations and followed up afterwards.

I have used this company MB Roofing on our roofing projects, I can best describe them as perfectionists, they completed the work in a timely manner, the technician to be very knowledgeable. The work they did was adequate and the price was fair, JOE’s working crews work diligently and professionally throughout the process. I will strongly recommend this organization for any roof repair anywhere. OUTSTANDING!!!

I had a portion of a commercial roof replaced in Cranston, RI. The job was not up to standard. No permit was filed, no manufacturers warranty/certification was provided. Subsequently, an inspector noted that the roof was improperly tied into a connecting roof and the flanges around the stacks were done so unprofessionally it was ridiculous. I then paid MORE money to have 'repairs' made - that never held. I would not recommend this company!! Beware!!

I want to thank MB Roofing. Their estimate and pricing were reasonable. I worked with Joseph Milanovich and as a senior citizen, he was patient and helpful. The work was done in a timely manner. All the employees were friendly and respectful.
MB Roofing is a company, I highly recommend.

A little over a week ago, MB Roofing was in our neighborhood, driving around, and stopped to ask my husband if we wanted our driveway done (coated/sealed). It's always chancy when random people offer to do a service "right now," but we checked out google and saw their positive reviews and said okay. Long story short, we were NOT happy with the result, so my husband called and told them of the problem. They were extremely apologetic and promised to make it right. Two days ago, they came by--after their workday had clearly ended--and redid the driveway and it looks fantastic. We are very happy with the result and recommend MB Roofing for the quality of their work and their great customer service.

I dealt with the son and he is young but gave me the impression he has been doing this for many years. I own a business and it was such a joy to work with a young honest businessman. On time for each meeting, his help worked so hard for me and we’re very helpful. Trust me I am not easy to work for and this company hit a home run on every aspect of this experience. Thanks jeff

Joseph from MB ROOFING did an amazing job repairing my roof. He explained what needed to be repaired and why. While he was on the roof he took pictures so I could see what needed repairing. After he completed the job, he showed my husband what he had done. He was fair, honest and professional. I would highly recommend this company! Thank you again, Joseph!
