Mike's crew were on time, worked hard, worked fast and cleaned up well. All in all, a great contractor experience. The new roof on our house looks great and the project was done on time and for a reasonable price.

Would definitely recommend Maher Roofing.

So happy with our new roof and Mike and his crew! Great bunch of guys and beautiful new roof! Mike is very honest and trustworthy, as well. We paid via cashiers check and he still said we would get a refund because they didn’t use all of the plywood purchased for the job! Most people would not have done that.

Had Maher roofing do our house shed roof replacement using a white vinyl roofing material. It wasn't three years later that it was leaking so bad that it damaged the drywall on the inside of the house. We had to have major repairs done to fix the bad initial installation that included a full interior ceiling tear out, complete insulation replacement, nearly half of the plywood had to be replaced, and finally a new full Vinyl roof replacement. Maher didn't respond to or honor the initial warranty. Wish I could leave a positive review for a local business - perhaps their work is exemplary in other types of roofing but not recommended for vinyl/pvc roofing.

These guys replaced the roof on the house I rent. First they couldn't tell my landlord when they'd be coming. Then they showed up with only a few hours notice and started mucking around without even checking in with me. I have dogs, so I'm not too keen on strangers coming over and opening the back gate without knocking on the door first.

I suppose they did an ok job on the roof, too soon to tell. The real problem was the absolute GARBAGE job they did on clean up. I repeatedly requested that they come back and do a better job because there were ridiculous amounts of nails and debris left in my yard. Mike was rude when I told him I stepped on a nail.

Since they obviously weren't going to clean up adequately I went ahead and borrowed a rolling magnet. I found TONS of nails, plus all the other debris I picked up by hand (see photo).

I do not recommend this company. Hire someone else!

Maher Roofing provided one of my best contracting experiences in the Gorge. From a quick estimate, to sooner-than-promised project start, and excellent site clean-up and project completion time, they delivered an excellent product.

Finally got a hold of Maher Roofing. They did a really good job with the roof and cleaned up pretty well afterwards. They are very busy so are not the best communicators when it comes to start dates, length of time for the projects, and consistency of showing up.
When they show up during the week it is around 9 in the morning. When they show up on Saturdays, it is 7:30 in the morning. So don't expect to sleep in and make sure your curtains are closed.
