put in new roof. all was well until it rained. the front gutter was improperly installed. I've called for the last three and half weeks for it to be fixed and zero call back. try a company that has a good follow up. meanwhile it is hard to get to my front door when its raining

We were so fortunate to find a local Santa Fe business backed up by 50 years experience. Sean was extremely responsive helping us thru an emergency roof repair and then helped us quickly get scheduled for a roof replacement. His crew were polite, friendly, professional, the work was high quality and they kept an extremely clean work site. We’d highly recommend them!

Absolutely horrible!!
This one is long winded but first off do yourself go with someone more knowledgeable and can do the job right.

I have roof warranty with this company the first interaction was no action until I reported them to the bbb, before that they would not return my calls for 6 months. Then finally came and worked fixed but not as good as they should because about 7 years later, I got a leak that came down into the house ruining my ceiling in the very spot they worked. I called them to work on it again they came back out after waiting 6 weeks or so and they patched it. Unfortunately the patching never took even after 2 more attempts. I spoke to the owner of the company and he said they the issue was how my roof was built which is funny because I thought that was his company that did it. Anyway he said patching it wouldn’t fix it but he would prorate the remainder of my warranty in the cost of “upgrading“ my roof. I he was gonna call me again with a cost and even after reaching to him directly he never contacted me.

I followed up with another roofing company and they were able to find the leak within 20 mins of stand on my roof. According to the 2nd opinion roofers said the ppl that were patching my roof didn’t clean my roof off properly and demonstrated this by being able to pinch the tar that was just put on with the last patch and it was over a month old or more and it came off like chewing gum. I went a head to paid the new roofer to do the job right.

We recently had a TPO roof installed on our almost 50 year old house. After having years of problems with the roof and previous roofers, we were delighted when Sean and his crew showed up on time and spent a week being incredibly easy to work with, polite, and respectful, leaving us with an absolutely amazing roof (even the building inspector incredibly impressed). A day or two after the roof was completed, we got a decent amount of rain and went up on the roof to find not a single puddle; the drainage is impeccable. It's as perfect as a roof gets on a ~50-year-old house.

Mike Lopez Roofing replaced my original 22-year-old pitch and gravel roof a couple of years ago. It was a big project that entailed removing the old roof and then installing a foam roof. They did an excellent job. The slope of the roof is just right. After a rainfall the water rapidly pours out of the canales and into the roof drains leaving no pools on the roof. In addition the roof looks great. The Santa Fe tan color matches the stucco color closely and therefore complies with the HOA requirements. The roof crew are most considerate and diligent and clean up the property each day. Additionally,. the roof replacement was quick and everything was accomplished in five days despite our being in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic. The Managing Partner, Sean Lopez, is very much hands on and is very responsive to calls and emails. Additionally, the company provides an annual roof inspection after installation and repairs minor defects to prevent roof deterioration. I obtained a 16-year warranty on the new roof and I believe that reflects the high quality of the workmanship. I highly recomment this company for roof installations.

I have used Mike Lopez Roofing for the last 24 years. Very professional group, quality work in TPO, spray foam, metal applications, granular torchdown products, and silicone sealants.
Their applicators are very adept at their skill sets and they take pride in their work.
They have been installing roof systems for 20+ years and that gives me confidence in their product. They also offer a reasonable maintenance program.
I will continue to use Mike Lopez Roofing for my projects.

Mike Lopez Roofing is hands down the roofing company for all your roofing needs.
Sean is very helpful, knowledgeable and professional. The crew is reliable, efficient, highly skilled, and delivers the best quality of work and keeps the work site clean. I highly recommend Mike Lopez Roofing to family, friends and anyone in need of roofing. When only the best will do from new construction to complete tear-downs, Mike Lopez Roofing is the company I have trusted repeatedly.

This company needs to be shut down by the state and forced to pay restitution to all of the consumers they have harmed and ripped off. I feel bad for the owners/operators because they must have suffered through horrible childhoods in order to grow up to act out their trauma at the expense of the community under the guise of running a legitimate contracting business, practically terrorizing consumers all across Santa Fe County. I can't imagine what it must be like to work for them. I hope and pray they are able to change their ways, but I find that doubtful. Maybe it's time for the owners/operators to donate all of their roofing equipment to Habitat for Humanity, retire from the roofing game and move to a monastery in an effort to make up for their horrible business practices and the harm they've caused. Mike Lopez Roofing is possibly the worst roofing company in the State of New Mexico and perhaps the entire Southwest. They need to be shut down for the good of the community and never allowed to touch another roof again unless they undergo years of correction and supervision.

DO NOT HIRE this company unless you're willing to get cancer or suffer property damage and cause the same to all your neighbors!
This company is a health hazard to the entire county and they destroy your property with apparent immunity.
Companies like this exist only because people that suffer at their hands stay quiet.
Well, I’m not intimidated by Mike Lopez and not only will I expose him but I will be reporting him to every health organization possible and have all of his licenses revoked.
Mr. Lopez is apparently all about making money and he doesn’t care if he does it at the expense of your health, your pets’ health, damage to your property, poisoning your food, and even ordering you off your own property!
I didn’t hire this guy and I never would. My neighbor did. And what a mistake he made.
First and foremost, the foam this guy sprays is made up of isocyanate and polyol resin. Isocyanates include compounds classified as carcinogens and have been shown to cause cancer in animals and humans alike. Exposure to isocyanates enflame existing asthma and also cause it as well as other lung problems, the least of these are irritation of the eyes, nose, throat, and skin.
Does he go around the neighbors and explain what’s his company is about to do? NO!
Does he take precautions in order to not poison everyone around? NO!
Does he show care and protect your property from damage? NO!
Does he show any care about your pets? NO!
My neighbor got a new foam roof but here’s what I got living right next door to him:
A damaged expensive Mercedes; $300-$400 to fix!
A backyard full of his foam parts and foam dust and my dogs can no longer go outside.
4 days and nights of headaches, irritated sinuses, and poison to breathe.
A vegetable garden full of his poisonous foam dust and it will have to be dug up and new soil put in.
A house loaded with his poisonous foam dust caked in everything from the window screens to all over my BBQ.
Large chunks of foam for decoration.
God knows what kind of cancer will show up in me years from now.
Oh and the icing on the cake: when I finally talked to Mr. Lopez or someone pretending to be him (I would hide too if I were him) he tells me that I’m “in a construction zone” and to move my car; from my own driveway! And accuses me of impeding his crews from “doing work” when I chase them away from my car because they were trying to cover it after the fact.
Mike Lopez Roofing, spreading poison and damaging your property soon! And being rude because you're one of the little people he can yell at and step on because you can't "impede" him!

After 3 years, they muster up a reply. This should go to show you their capabilities I have my facts in complete check as opposed to your hallow words and chest beating. I think it would be better if you went into another line of work!

Our company, Roadrunner A/C Heating and Refrigeration were hired to disconnect and move equipment on a large re-roofing project being installed by Mike Lopez Roofing.
There were two walk-in refrigeration condensing units on that roof which we were asked to disconnect and move.
Instead of that very costly procedure and the fact that the walk-ins were full of food, we devised a plan to lift and suspend those units ( still operating ) while the roofing was completed underneath. This project went off without a hitch thanks to Mike and his hard working crew of experts.
Better then a Great Job !!!

This company told me I needed a whole new roof when my 7 year old roof had only one leak , due to a gap around the skylight and a low spot. They quoted me nearly 25,000 to repair it. They made no effort to assess the cause of the leak and fix only what was broken. I felt they were trying to con me into a big job for them.
