MICKEN ROOFING & REMODELING

DO NOT use Micken Roofing & Remodeling! In my opinion, this is absolutely the WORST contractor you can consider using for any construction-related job. Micken Roofing & Remodeling was doing some work on other houses in our neighborhood and Freddie Micken stopped by to see if he could give us a quote on painting and doing the roof (plus other things). He caught us at the perfect time as we were looking to remodel the entire house. He gave us a quote for replacing the roof, painting the exterior, pressure washing, replacing the front railing and fixing some windows as well as cleaning up some weeds and growth. We made the decision to use his company. HUGE MISTAKE. Almost immediately after starting to paint the exterior of the house, he said he would need more money because he underestimated the amount of paint it would take to do the house. Long story short, the workmanship was subpar at best (SEE ATTACHED PHOTOS), and he was not able to complete the job by the due date on the contract (not even close to finishing the job). In fact, he never ordered the material needed to replace the windows and other work that was needed. He constantly talked about coming down and getting this done and that done. He is a big SCAM artist and I am in the process of suing him and his company. A complaint was filed with the BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU, which he did not respond too, but did call me to say he would reimburse me my money. Of course, it is all garbage as I have not received my money back from him. This is why we are suing him and his company.

There are at least 50 complaints about Freddy Micken in “Nextdoor” app. He is quite the scam artist! Has been for YEARS!! He got me about 12 years ago. Check him out on the Better Business Bureau. Check for license and get recommendations. I assure you he is up to NO GOOD!
