Metropolitan Exteriors came out to give me a free estimate on replacing the gutters on my home. Chris Randall came out and was very professional, answering all my questions/concerns. Once the contract was signed, they were out the following week to complete the installation. The job was completed in a timely manner and their prices are affordable. Tracy Swinney was a pleasure to talk to when setting up the installation and taking my payment over the phone. I would use Metropolitan Exteriors again for future needs.

I called up to them one day to get my windows done and the lady who answered the phone was just as sweet as peaches, she provided me with a quote that was reasonable and had her men at my house within days

Mr. Randall of Metropolitan was professional, courteous and kept me in the loop. The repair technician was also professional and courteous and my repair project was complete quickly.

We had our roof completely replaced, a shingled main house portion with two dormers, and a lower-angle back extension with flat-roof covering. Each portion of roof was completed in one day. The crew stacked materials well without harming our shrubbery, and they cleaned up well. Of course we can't know how well the roof endures until time passes, but it looks great. The price was very suitable. Chris is a pleasure to work with. I recommend!

Metropolitan Exteriors did not ask me to write this review, but they are fantastic and I felt compelled to post this. They installed my roof several years ago, and one of the selling points was the warranty. You can judge a company not only by the quality of their work, but also their commitment to their warranty. I was so pleasantly surprised when Metropolitan honored the warranty.

After a recent big storm, I noticed a leak in the garage. I called Metropolitan to see if they would come out and figure out what was going on and if they would fix it. They came out three tines, diagnosed the issue, and repaired it. While I assumed I would be charged, they told me my roof was still covered under the warranty and that there would be no charge.

These folks are nice, and importantly honest, as they could have said it was something else and charged me for the repair. These days, it's so refreshing to work with a good company with honest people.

So yes, this is a very positive review and I highly recommend them for roofs and windows. They are not the cheapest nor most expensive, but they offer high value, quality work and they honor their warranty. Kudos Metropolitan! Thank you!

Chris was the project manager. He was very professional, pleasant, and responded to questions and needs about the job in a prompt, efficient manner. I would highly recommend this company to do your job.

Metropolitan Exteriors did a wonderful job replacing the shingled mansard architectural trim on my first and second front stories, plus replacing past water damaged wood, installing algae resistant underlayment, metal drip edges, and even painting to match. Expensive, but an outstanding team of thoughtful and dedicated Metropolitan workmen! I will definitely be a repeat customer.

I only need to replace one gutter and downspout. I found metropolitan exteriors, inc through best pick reports . Chris Randall came to inspect. He gave me few selections. After I selected the best selection. Signed the contract. Worker came a week to finish the work. They did a good job.

Metropolitan Exteriors, Inc. employees arrived at my residence at 2pm and left approximately 3:15 with no evidence that they had been there, except for my new beautiful gutters on my house. Thank you for a very well performed installation. I would highly recommend your company to my friends, which I already have.

The Metropolitan sales and onsite team I worked with left much to be desired. Repeated attempts to argue for what I thought was wrong were countered with attempts to sell me unrelated services. The greatest disservice, however, is when the onsite team on a return visit replied, “it’s about that exposed nail right?” That means they knew and willfully did not bring it up nor proactively do anything about it.

That is a dealbreaker. They do good work once you get/convince them to do the correct work. One and done forever with this company.

On June 29, my fiancé and I put in an offer on our first home. With our realtors help, we contacted our mortgage lender and he began the long paperwork process. Our offer was accepted!

This home was owned by Jeff (owner of Metro Ex.) we had our FIRST inspection on July 7. The inspection report came back with a long list of red, which we asked the seller to fix and he agreed. The house sat UNTOUCHED for about 3 weeks. We were told it was due to storms that had recently hit our area, later he confessed, it was because he was waiting for the appraisal. He basically wanted to see if it was even worth fixing while keeping us HANDCUFFED to the house and getting our hopes up.

Our second inspection was on July 28. We pulled up to the house a slew on contractors just starting the repairs. The manager Traci assured me that almost all the work had been done! To my surprise, only a few cosmetic things had been done to the home and there were people in the crawlspace “working”. There was just enough things going on to make us feel as if we were insane for being worried that the house was not going to be ready for closing on our expected date of Aug 5.

Another week went by. Aug 4, was supposed to be our final walkthrough. We had put our faith in Metro that our home was ready. It wasn’t. We pushed back closing then had ANOTHER final walk through on Aug 10, guess what…THE HOUSE STILL WASN’T READY.

This company strung us along for over a month. Failed to make the proper repairs to the home and in the end tried to keep our deposit like WE were the ones in the wrong.

They want to keep the deposit because he “spent nearly $1,000 in tile." ONE - the tile (pricing) isn’t a part of the contract and they said it would be completed regardless. TWO - no you didn’t because I pulled up how much per tile/quantity and it comes up to $588.62. THREE - they will benefit from the new tile anyways because I'm not buying the home so it’s still theirs.

Metropolitan Exterior (Metro) did an amazing job on my DC flat roof repair back in December 2022. Chris was super professional and completed the work quickly and cleaned up after finishing. I waited nearly 7 months before submitting my comment to make sure that the roof held up, and it did. I have recommended Metro to my neighbors. Great work!

Tony was great ensuring everything was done well. The crew also was very professional. So thankful these snow guards were in place to preclude damage to persons and property. Well done!

Repair was made to roof over bay window to eliminate leak. Flashing was replaced and area sealed. Job was done promptly and professionally.

My experience with working with this company was great. Will Swinney was the roofing consultant that assisted me with the replacement of my Dad's roof and he was professional and knowledgeable about the job that was being done and the materials being used. The pricing was reasonable. Will was able to get the job started within a week of signing the contract. The workers got to the residence early morning and finished up the job by late afternoon the same day. They ensured that all the debris and nails, etc. was cleaned up and cleared from the property before leaving. I would recommend this company to anyone. I thank them for the great work. I would like to thank Will for his professionalism and assistance in this project.

The response and communication with the main office is VERY POOR and top of that disrespectful. Very unprofessional and disorganized. It took one full week from them to take the first payment from me. And three weeks on top of that to schedule the job. Very disappointed. If the treatment with this people is like this from the first contact, It’s definitely a big warning on how you’ll be treated along the way. It made me so doubtful on the quality of their job (as their quote was the least expensive of the companies I quoted) and I can’t even imagine how rude their response would be if there is a claim for their job. RUN!!! Save your time, money and mental peace.

Chris from Metropolitan did a great job matching our siding color and the repair looks fantastic! Very competitive quote. Fast and professional service. Very polite and offered to haul some of our own garbage away for free. Highly recommend.

Jose was prompt, efficient and personable. Have had 3 different companies in past come repair and he is the only one who took his time and didn't rush through just to get it done. Satisfied with Metropolitan exteriors company.

Poor will workmanship quality. Sent subcontractor, who said he does jobs for feds, but due to pandemic was sent to do my job. He wouldn't tarp, until he started to dribble materials on my floor french tablecloth. When I started to tarp the Turkish rug, (oh and he wouldn't cover his boots) I placed tarp, he said tarp is a trip hazard. So damage done by him, beyond what hired for. Only put painters tape to protect trim, when I questioned, he put it only when I would see him not doing it, but he got paint on trim that he said he wasn't being paid by USAA to paint. Then why mess it up was my question. Area did he did paint had big noticable blotches were he said he applied second coat, but didn't. I was like babysitting him. So I asked him if he was licensed to paint he said no, neither is Morgan, who hired him, but the owner is licensed. I ended the contract, though they were persistent to come in and do more damage than good and get paid. Beware. I do not recommend them. See pics of subs poor attempt to begin to prep area for paint, and in other areas where he rushed to begin, but left early for the three half days, saying he had a bigger job to get to. Don't suggest hiring!

Tony came out as scheduled on time. The estimate was completed in a timely manner and comparable with other estimates received. I chose Metropolitan due to the exceptional courtesy and customer service during my initial meeting. The copper gutters were installed ahead of schedule after the signing of the contract. The roof installation on the home and car port was completed that same week. The attention to detail, professionalism and explanation of the work process was very much appreciated. Santos and his crew worked diligently doing an awesome job and pictures of their work was provided after completion.

A truly great company. Recently, they did a new roof for my house. They were amazing. There representative, Chris Randall, was very knowledgeable and came across as an honest, trustworthy person who was there to present and discuss all possible alternatives available to me. It was indeed refreshing to meet someone like him, especially after dealing with some pushy representatives who just wanted you to sign on the dotted line and walk away with a contract with many ambiguous clauses, which you really did not understand. The latter, has been the unfortunate experience of quite of few of my friends.

The crew came on time, were well supervised, and finished in a timely manner. The end product has been admired by all who saw their superior craftsmanship with attention to every little detail.

I would have no hesitation in recommending Metropolitan Exteriors for any roofing and exterior work.
