MegaPros has completed multiple projects in our home. They are the first and only call we make because we know the project will be completed with quality precision, on-time, and completely free of any dirt or debris. It is always a pleasure working with Jeremy, Lou, Julie and their team members.

I had my entire townhouse remodeled by MegaPros last year. I was more than pleased with the work that was done. The entire staff were so very qualified, informative and caring about my plans for the remodel and using their specific skills to make it happen.

I have referred them to a number of my friends. Those who have seen the finished project were extremely impressed.

I have since had them back for minor repairs or other small jobs. They guarantee their work and I know that it will be done right.

We just got a estimate from MegaPros to hang a door, frame out main drain pipe and fix a pocket door. They want to charge us $11,500.00. No Thank you, if you didn't want the job you could have not wasted our time! Run past go and do not stop find a different company to work with they will rob you apparently.

We have nothing but praise for the MegaPros Team. From our initial estimate to the recent completion of our projects that we contracted for, we cannot say enough about how nice, friendly and professional all of the staff are! We had pretty extensive work done our 100+ year old Oak Park house and garage done including complete roof shingle replacement; front portico replacement; back yard deck replacement and a renovation of our master bathroom/shower. Everything came out perfect and to our complete satisfaction. We would definitely recommend them 100%!

I have had Mega Pros do two projects around the house. They painted the kitchen, living room, and hallway several years ago. This year I had them replace my kitchen floor. Both experiences were excellent. The crews arrived on time, kept me informed about what they were doing, and cleaned up when they were finished for the day. It was a pleasure having the work done quickly and professionally.

Mega Pros performed the finish work on our front and back porches (on a southern farmhouse in which the porches hadn't been finished 9 years before when we had it built.)

They did an excellent job. They are craftsmen at carpentry, finish work, and painting/staining. They paid attention to every detail and worked with us each step along the way, giving us tips based on their extensive experience. Lou and his crew were easy to work with, to contact, etc. They became part of your family.

I won't lie, it was a big job and it was expensive. But they performed such a wonderful job, the house is beautiful, and we never had any problems with them. Too many others didn't show up, or did and never returned, etc. Zero aggravation. You definitely get what you pay for!!!

We were very pleased with MegaPros' work in our basement. They did an excellent job and were extremely fast in getting back to us with questions we had. We will use them in the future for other projects. Thanks!

I called them .I had some basic questions about there service.The rude lady I spoke with ,told me they would answer my questions in person.I told her that I needed to talk to someone over the phone.It would save me and the person time.She insisted on telling me ,they would answer my questions in person.

Jeremy and Chris and the crew were wonderful to work with.
My garage was very damp even though other mitigations had been tried previously. Now, with the help of MegaPros, the garage has been dry for months. Looking forward to completion of the project in the Spring. I am very happy that I can park my car confidently inside this winter!

I was very pleased with my experience with MegaPros! They completed a bathroom renovation for me. Extremely helpful and patient in answering all of my questions and kept up with communication throughout the project. They were always on time, worked hard, and was impressed with the quality of their work. I definitely recommend them for your next project and will not hesitate to use them again for my next project!

They came out not once but twice and never even gave us a quotes. Ifvwe could give negative 100 we would.

of the late Mega Joe) was just as bad.. No follow up no quotes..When we hear the ads we cringe at the lies. They do everything. We must of slipped through the cracks. Do not believe WGN when they do the ads!. Of course if they did work for any of the hosts of wgn. They did it right. They have a 3.5 star review . Guess not everyone is happy.
Plenty of five stars just as many one stars.

Initial appointment. Town house. Estimator late. Went to wrong address. Rang doorbell Didn’t understand that the numbers on the garages are the address numbers. Went to 324. Should have gone to 19..
GPS does not always work exactly. Claimed they called and texted. I received nothing. Poor first impression. I’ll take my project someplace else.

The repairman showed up the day before he was scheduled and spent maybe 10 minutes on my roof before I got a call from Julie in the Mega office. They wanted $500 to caulk the one spot on the roof they claimed nails were jutting out. I was not prepared for that and needed to think. Julie said if the man had to come back another day it would cost me $800!! This is just a very small area. What a rip off. Will never call these people again!

I contacted Mega as I’ve heard their commercials with the jingle and the rave reviews from customers. After past unsatisfactory experiences with other contractors I was in dire need of the job done correctly and completely with no snags. After a few rounds of phone tag I finally secured a 2pm appointment with an estimator albeit 5-6 weeks out. I took off work that day and met the estimator.
The job wasn’t a big job but was more than we could handle. I basically wanted to deck two 100 sf terraces only instead of it being the floor… it was the ceiling. Picture attached. Material wasn’t a concern weather it be composite decking, bead board, siding, pvc or whatever. I knew the composite would be the most expensive but anything to just cover the existing corrugated tin of the terrace above me. After about an hour of texts, photos and calls back to the office the estimator sat down and produced a quote…but he sat there for what seemed like 5 minutes explaining what it all covered and the astonishing feats of magic that would be performed to bring this project to completion as it virtually would last forever and be the greatest accomplishment of man vs construction. He then slid it across the counter to me! I was thinking $5k….$7500…I could probably talk my wife into that ….$10,000??? Then I’d have to buy her a new car to get it past her. BUT IT WAS MORE!!!! $19,763 to install 200 sf of an undetermined material. They completely wasted my time. If they didn’t want the work they should not even have set up an appointment and told me so on the phone. Truly a bad experience with what’s is advertised as “The Best”. They are the best all right…bend over!!!!

Matt did a fabulous job replacing the bathroom floor tile, removed my old toilet and installed the new one. His work was perfect and I absolutely LOVE it. He worked hard, quickly, and efficiently. I approve that he made sure the squeaks in the floor were no longer there. Now I can finish up by painting the walls.

The MEGA Pros team helped our vision for remodeling our master bath and kitchen come to life! The MEGA team was wonderful to work with from start to finish. They brought amazing workmanship, professionalism to our projects, along with cleanliness and care for our home. We never felt like we were living in a construction zone. I would highly recommend using MEGA for any projects you may have. We are beyond delighted!

the task was to rebuild a stair case from the 2nd floor to the patio below.
It was a complex job - and at each step I felt that not only did they know what they were doing, but kept me fully informed. Joe, Lou and Travis were excellent. l Highly recommend.

I called out Mega Pros for an estimate to redo my bathroom. When I called to make the appointment she asked what my budget was and I said that I didn't necessarily have one and that I just needed to get an idea of the cost. When the guy came out for the estimate he said he needed to write up a full estimate but that it would probably be in the 20,000 range and didn't know if that fell into my expectations or budget. We did not discuss my budget and I made no comment on whether that cost was within my budget. A couple of days later he emailed me to say that it would actually be around 34,000 and since it was higher than my budget he would not be sending a detailed proposal. When I responded that we had not discussed my budget and that I would like a detailed proposal he responded claiming that we did (which, again, we didn't), gave me a minor breakdown of costs (what was Mega Pros expenses and what would be the estimated cost of things like a new toilet and vanity) and said if I wanted to go through with the work he'd send a more detailed proposal. I responded clarifying that I never gave a budget and that this wasn't outside of the realm of my budget but would be looking into other companies. I never heard anything back! One would assume that in order to arrive at the price point he did that he would have had to created a detailed budget. Otherwise, how did he arrive at that number? Did he just pull a random number out of his head? So why is the detailed proposal being kept a secret?? I told him, I've had several companies come out and give estimates on various things around the house and have never not gotten a detailed proposal of the estimate. It is riduculous to me that you would not automatically send it, but even more so that you would not send it upon request! This estimate sounded very high to me and the fact that he would not send a detailed proposal without a commitment to get the work done is very shady to me. Makes me really wonder how he came up with that price and if I would have been taken advantage of if I went through with getting the work done by Mega Pros. I would not recommend this place and after hearing such glowing reviews on the radio am very disappointed with my experience.

Three weeks ago I took a day off of work to meet the estimator, with a promise that I would receive a detailed estimate early the following week. Eleven days later I received an email saying "thanks for your patience, I'll get right on it." Nothing since. Moving on, what a complete waste of my time.

Had them come out to fix a three foot hole in the shower wall. I told them that I was ok if the tile didn't exactly match but Mike said that since they couldn't exactly match the tile they would refuse to patch the wall as a result. Instead they handed me a proposed bill for $7,000 to rip out the entire shower and upgrade because otherwise the job wouldn't meet their "standard." What a joke.

Called and asked for an electrician. The person who answered the phone said we'll have one call you. That at 8:30 am. I called back at 1:00 to ask when I could expect a call. She advised they will call back in 24 hrs. We'll it's 3 days and still no call. Called local electrician and rcvd a call in 20 min. Very unprofessional. They just don't care

100% quality service!! Amazing people from initial visit through completion. Would never go anywhere else. The quality of work is top notch.

A gentleman came and was very nice and went back and forth to his truck to give an estimate. He made a few remarks aloud that were literally 10 times higher and I'm not exaggerating, then a different estimate we got from a very reliable carpenter. They've been saying that he has tried at least twice to send the estimate to my email and once more to another email that we gave and we gave yet another one but it's never come so perhaps they have a different format or type of PDF file but we've never received the estimates and I've called multiple times and messaged and sent emails. If the cost is what he said it would be overwhelmingly beyond our other estimates from good companies.

Basement remodel and paint work. Very good with the dry wall work, carpentry work was 'ok' - not great - good enough, I suppose. However, the painting areas that needed detail or extra care were subpar and we really didn't notice until much later - they repainted our whole first floor and basement. If I did that work myself, I could reason why it turned out that way, but we paid these guys A LOT for this job. ( and paid for most of the materials) And I assume they are professional painters. We will fix it ourselves since we are getting ready to sell soon. On the one hand its nice to hire one entity that can 'do it all' , but on the other, esp. with what we paid, I expect better. They are pricey compared to most.

Mega did a fantastic Job!! in a amazing 75 days the Mega crew transformed our house to accommodate my 90+ year old In-Laws. Jeremy, helped to rethink our unused space and John coordinated his crew to transform our rec room in to a Master Bedroom Suite with a true Spa bathroom. Combined and reconfigured two bathrooms in to a Accessible space for the elders, and redesigned an underutilized closet in to a bathroom for the remaining household members. Dispute undertaking and speed of the project we were minimally impacted by the work. I would recommend them to anyone.

They did a great job of taking old free-standing book shelves and mounting them on either side of our fireplace. Did custom trim work around the shelves. Then built a base for a limestone hearth in front of the fireplace. Beautifully applied the tile we'd used for the front of the fireplace and installed the limestone slab. They took measures to protect the floor, furniture and keep dust from getting to the rest of the house. We'll definitely have them back to do more.

Basement remodel project: Presented a concept of a wall design and the carpenters for MegaPros developed it into a realty. Their attention to detail and creativity created a unique space for media center and exercise room. In addition they installed upgraded lighting, electrical outlets, new vinyl plank flooring, new closet and a fresh coat of paint.

MegaPros saved us when they came in to complete many projects left unfinished by another contractor. They completed many different jobs -- rebuilt an entire interior staircase from scratch, repaired and replaced heated floor tile, repaired drywall, installed outdoor siding and more. We HIGHLY recommend MegaPros for any household project.

I called multiple places to find someone to repair the exterior of a three season room. It had a lot of rot, as well as damage from critters. I submitted a request on Mega Pros website and got a call back the same day. Someone came out and gave me a quote the next day and they were able to start the following day. I was amazed! Most other places said the job was too small and had too many "unknowns". Mega Pros sent Scott out to complete the job and he did an EXCELLENT job. When he ran into unexpected issues, he showed them to me and told me what he would need to do to fix them so I could understand what was being done. He was able to find ways to deal with all the issues, of which there were several. When he was all done, he cleaned up and you wouldn't even know he had been there. All in all, it was a great job and I would hire MegaPros again if i need future repairs. I'll definitely ask for Scott.

Called Mega a while back. Upon giving them details about the job they requested I send couple pictures of the house, which I sent. There was no call back and when I called a salesperson came on line and gave a a random quote. He had no interest coming to take a look. I called another contractor and the quote they gave me was at least 60% higher. I would be very careful.

We hired Mega Pros to replace our roof shingles because of hail damage. They did a fantastic job and we are very satisfied with their professional work.

I have had Mega Pros at my house for many different projects over the years. I have been extremely pleased with their work performance and quality. I have had windows, doors, and gutters replaced. I've had new soffits and fascia recently completed. My completely renovated bathroom is beautiful. My oak flooring looks great and the leak on the south side of the house caused by blowing, heavy rain is no more! All of this was done with thoughtful, courteous workers in a timely manner. I have been thoroughly impressed with all of their work.

I love Mega Pros. They built me a new kitchen and remodeled 3 bathrooms in my house. Their operation is smooth and the results are beautiful. They help advise on materials, fixtures and layout. All materials and fixtures are stored on their premises ensuring the timeline they quote you will be accurate with no downtime waiting for vendor delays. I’m needing to call them again to replace a door between my garage and house. I’m looking forward to working with them again.

Jeremy made extra time for us when we weren't sure about our first appointment. He went above and beyond coming to our home to see that we received the best quote possible.

I'm so happy we chose MegaPros to repair/replace the siding on our house. It is an older home with wooden siding that we must paint and over the years some of the wood had begun to buckle. MegaPros was able to match the siding and I provided the paint color. The replaced the warped panels and our house looks so good now!

The work done was subpar with nail pops and mistakes throughout. I called and the owner promised they would come back and fix the mistakes. I was supposed to get a call back in May and it is JUNE and have not received a call as to when repairs were supposed to be made.

This review is long overdue! MegaPros came to our rescue when our hot water heater burst in the middle of the night, not only damaging our condo but also the unit below us. We called first thing in the morning and Mega was cleaning up the damage to both units and making repairs within hours. Our utility closet looks better than ever. Responsive and professional!

It's taken years for us to finally feel ready to turn our routine upside down and freshen up the house. We went with Mega Pros because of the radio ads, truth be told. We really needed a company that could swoop in, understand what we wanted, and make it happen as quickly and painlessly as possible. We got that, and are so pleased! From Jeremy at the very start, to Mike G., who guided the project, to Raul, who did an impressive amount of work carefully and capably, it's been a great experience. Mega Pros also shared with us Painters Touch...Nick and his crew treated this job as if it was their own house. They were great company to have in our house. Easy-going, detail-oriented, talented, dog-friendly guys. I couldn't be happier with their work. Thank you so much!

We hired MegaPros to remodel our condo with all new luxury vinyl flooring, new countertop and backsplash in the kitchen, new vanities in the washrooms and paint the entire condo. From top to bottom this was the most incompetent group of people we’ve ever dealt with.
Here is a list of all the problems:
We were quoted 9 days to complete the remodel. It took over 60 days.
We were told our engineer would give us a day by day schedule and who would be at our home and what they will be doing. That happened for the first 9 days, but nothing after that and we were never told who would be at our home at any time.
The crew was supposed to tarp and protect all access and work areas. That never happened.
They laid the new floor so poorly that they had to tear it all up and redo it.
Much of the new quarter round strips were cut to short or to long and some were not nailed in.
The painting was poorly done. They had paint on all the light fixtures, missed numerous spots especially along the woodwork and one washroom and in some places the paint was all over the woodwork. They had to come back three different times to try and correct. They even painted our fuse box shut. It had to be pried open.
The backsplash has numerous crooked tiles and was poorly grouted. They would not correct.

One day after putting in the new stainless steel sink, they scratched it all up.
They broke one of our TV’s and one of our wall sconces.
The cleaning crew was supposed to clean and detail everything. They were here for 1.5 hours and did a horrible job. We spent the next two days cleaning the condo ourselves.
One good note was Travis. He came in and did a good job correcting a lot of the mistakes. He was the only person at MegaPros who had a clue as to what they were doing. Unfortunately, MegaPros pulled the plug on him and refused to correct anymore of the shoddy work that was done.
Don’t waste your time with MegaPros. They’re clueless.

My wife and I contacted Mega based on their commercials on WGN Radio and were extremely pleased with their work and professionalism. First Jeremy came out and talked to us to determine what we wanted and how it could be done. He provided us with several ideas which were lower cost alternatives to what we were asking for, but still provided the same quality. During the time they were here, we had several projects going on to update and remodel an older home and Don kept us informed every step of the way with regards to the work to be done that week, when installation of cabinets, shower, flooring, etc. would take place. All of the workers we met were extremely diligent, professional and courteous. Highly recommend them for any project you need and in fact, we will be having them come out in the fall for a couple of items we want done.

just want you to know that i called 4 well known places to quote on custom window work i'm having done, one quoted 4 weeks for an appointment, the 10 weeks later to have the work done, one never got back with me, one had someone out right away, kept in contact for 2 days, then never even got me a quote, Mega Pros, got back with me right away, had two people out within the 1st week and even though my work will need some custom things, plan on doing the install within about 4 weeks, happy with everyone i've dealt with and happy i'm using Mega Pros

We just finished our first ever Maga construction project. THRILLED with the crew...Marco was careful, thoughtful (didn't play a radio), unobtrusive (we work out our home and he made a great effort to be quiet (we had door frames & new doors put in), he . We are THRILLED with the new look. And Don was a terrific construction manager (patient with our changing ideas and dates to do the work).

We were so thrilled...before Don left after the wrap-up meeting we signed up for another Mega project (bathroom tile floor and new shower). The whole experience was A+ all around. We heartily endorse them.

MEGA Home Improvement did an excellent job on our bathroom remodel. It is an extremely professional company to deal with and the employees are knowledgeable, polite, neat and just nice people to deal with. I highly recommend this company for any home improvements you need done. Don, Jeremy and the whole crew are just great!
