Darren did roof cleaning to my house and detached garage recently. He came on time and worked diligently. It’s clear to me that he’s detailed oriented and very particular with his work. He took steps to clean up after the job and spray down any dirt that kicked up on the walls. I asked him to clear a few of my gutters and clean the exterior which he did. Prices are fair and the quality of the work is high. I would recommend Darren.

I’m happy to say that I have found an outstanding roofer which I will use again without hesitation for any future roofing issues that may occur.
Darren McMartin arrived on a Wednesday to examine 4 skylights on my roof that were old and in need of replacement. He also noticed that my 5 attic roof vents were way too small and not up to current code and that a furnace roof vent was also previously installed incorrectly.
I received the estimate for the work that Wednesday night, which I approved Thursday morning and to my pleasant surprise, Darren booked my job for the next day (Friday).
Darren arrived early (yes early!) Friday morning and worked all most nonstop for 11 hours to complete all of the work in the one visit.
I found Darren to be extremely knowledgeable, hard working, neat and that all of his repairs and upgrades were completed to the highest of standards.
His attention to the smaller details such as roof, and drive way clean up, touching up all the flashing and PVC vent pipes with black paint so everything on the roof coloured matched, and the recycling of old materials and packaging made feel assured that the important work was also completed with the same attention to detail and quality. He also reassured me that my shingle roof was still in good shape and had at least another 10 years left (No up-selling).
As it turned out 3 of the 4 old skylights had started to leak and that 1 of them was so badly installed that Darren was surprised that water wasn’t pouring into my home or that a strong wind hadn’t blown it off of the roof.
I now have 4 brand-new high-quality skylights with a 10-year warranty that have been properly installed, as well as adequate roof venting. Darren’s’ 25 years of roofing experience is really evident as observed in the final inspection of his work.
Thanks to Darren and his exceptional, quality work, the weather term ‘atmospheric river’ doesn’t send shivers down my spine any more.

We contacted McMartin Roofing for a skylight replacement after another company gave us the runaround. We needed the skylight replaced in the next few days. Darren was quick to come check out the existing skylight and provide a quote. What we thought was a standard size (as we were told by the other company), was actually slightly different and not quite as easy a fix as we were hoping. Darren provided us with a couple of different options at reasonable prices and was even able to accommodate the replacement the following day. We're extremely happy with the service we received and would highly recommend McMartin Roofing.

I used them twice. This year and 20 years ago at a different house. Besides installing the roof at a fair price, they helped me diagnose and repair some annoying water flow problems on the roof where the water was splashing back against the house. To address this he installed some deflectors that reroute the water to the gutters. They’re working very well. Highly recommended.

One quote was significantly more, one was significantly less and one was "give or take" the same. Darren has done a great job on replacing my house roof. Everything was done in couple of days. Quality work in timely manner and very professional attitude. I am glad I picked McMartin roofing for replacing the roof on my house.

They took a week to estimate my house, looked at it without even talking to me in person or on the phone (didn't even knock on the door when here) and then declined the job via email. Strange way to do business. I guess the job was too small (minor repairs/maintenance work), but still couldn't hurt to have a chat with the owner for which you are estimating? I guess they only want complete roof replacement type jobs.

Darren did a great job walking us through the process and providing options. He was responsive and flexible and completed the work efficiently, with no mess during or after the job was done. It looks great and we are really happy.

Many years ago we had our roof replaced by McMartin Roofing. They did an awesome job and the roof lasted about 17 yrs. Last year we decided that the roof needs to be replaced again. I googled McMartin roofing and discovered that McMartin Jr had taken over the business. We had Darren & a few other roofers give us an estimate. We were so please with our first roof it seemed obvious to go with McMartin again. Once again they did a great job, no issues at all. I would recommend McMartin roofing to anyone.

McMartin Roofing was amazing. I had a small repair that was needed during the summer and when our original roof installer (from 6 months earlier) blew us off, McMartin came in within 24 hours to do the job. We just had our roof redone in Langley. Darren was wonderful to deal with from the first time he came out to look at the roof...to coming back after the bin was taken away to clean up and check for any nails that may have been left. Darren and his crew were really clean and super fast. He also installed 2 sun tunnels and the process was clean and smooth and the results are fabulous. Highly recommend McMartin Roofing for sure!!

Professional, fast, and stand by their product. Weeks after my roof was completed I noticed a small adjustment to be made. The team came to my home within an hour, did a small repair quickly and without fuss. All they asked for was to spread the word. So here I am, but I would have done so anyway. Highly recommend!

Darren McMartin was recommended to us by two neighbours a few years ago. He was punctual, friendly, honest and provided pictures to go with his estimate. About a year later, we had a branch fall on our roof, causing a leak. He answered my call that night, recalled the colour of roofing we had, and was onsite the next morning to repair the damage.
We have also had him come and clean the gutters and roof, and inspect for damage seasonally. He cleans up the yard and driveway well afterward, sometimes better than it was! His prices are certainly fair for the service he provides.

They repaired my roof leak but I had to wait three months for it to rain hard enough to see if the repair was successful. It rained today and no leak. They were on time, fairly priced, courteous, and the repair worked. They get my vote.
