We hired McCullough brothers to take down and trim many sick trees on our property in Manchester VT. I have to say that I was blown away by their level of professionalism and quality of work. They spent the better part of 5 days on our property, and they did not leave a single leaf or branch out of place. The work was done in an organized and clean manner, they are meticulous about cleaning and being organized and take great care to not damage or harm anything around the work they perform, from the grass below to the neighboring trees and structures. They are true arborists and have a deep knowledge of how to clean and maintain property for the trees to stay healthy and thriving. I cannot say enough good things about them and have already recommended them to my friends and neighbors. If you are looking for a professional tree company look no further, these guys are the best we have ever worked with to clean and maintain our land. Thank you

McCullough Brothers gets my highest praise. Adam immediately responded to my online request for 5 huge tree removals with stump grinding and gave me a very reasonable estimate. He sent Ernest and his crew out within a week and they did an amazing job. Their skills and work ethic are perfection. I will definitely be calling them back!

The McCullough Brothers are very professional. They came when they said they would, they gave me a quote. It took longer then they estimated bc of the colded weather but they honored their appraisal. All the trees, branches were cut and removed promptly. They did a fantastic job! I highly recommend!

McCullough took down 5 very tall trees, cleaned it up and was all done in less than 4 hrs. They showed up on time, did a great job at a great price !! Wish I could say I’d hire them again but I have no trees left lol. However, I will recommend them to family and friends for sure. A+ service !!

It's been great watching these guys work. We had half a tree come down during the last windstorm and you could tell what was left was rotted out. This crew came in and I swear every chunk of tree that came down hit the same spot. They know what they're doing and they're friendly about it too. We've been using these guys for years and will continue to do so.

They were not only good at what they do, they did it safely too. This is by far one of the most professional companies that I have worked with in several decades. We have had them where I work and here at our home and over time we have taken down almost twenty trees, both planned and due to a storm.

They always leave the yard better than you would expect, removing and raking all signs that they were there.

I cannot say that I would recommend anyone else to do what they can - you will not find anyone better!!!

5 stars! Response was quick, estimate and agreement was same-day, and work was done within an exceptional time frame. They had top notch equipment and expertise. Watching the team was impressive - their teamwork and efficiency was like watching a well-oiled machine. The stumps were ground and the site was so clean when they left, it was hard to believe they were even there - except that the trees were gone!

We called Adam for an estimate for 2 trees to be cut down he was here within fifteen minutes. His great crew came three days later cut the trees removed some brush. I would highly recommend their professional service!!

Adam and his team were great. He showed up on time for evaluation and waited for me to consult family members. When all was approved by us, his team showed up in a timely fashion and had 7 sick trees down by noon and good cleanup. Approve!

McCullough Brothers did a fantastic job on our tree removal. They were professional and my yard looks amazing. We needed to have 3 trees taken out and all of the bushes in front of the house removed. They also trimmed some other trees in our yard. They look so good. The guys were kind and kept me informed of what was going on throughout the job. The yard was completely cleaned after they were finished. We feel that they were very cost-effective and we would highly recommend them to anyone looking to have quality work done. Fabulous job!

Lightning struck our tree and a large limb fell on our neighbors fence. Massive tree fell in my yard due to a storm and McCullough Brothers Inc. came almost immediately to cut the fallen tree and the large portion that was still standing. Fantastic Service and pricing! We needed a huge (~90ft foot) cottonwood taken down and we were given a very reasonable quote for it, we were walked through what type of truck would be down to bring it down, and we even got squeezed in to their very full and busy schedule! At a time when other companies were unable to accommodate us, we were taken care of and were even able to keep some of the stump for a tree house.

Had a big tree removed and stump removed, as well as some smaller limbs from another tree removed. The crew was amazing! Clearly they knew what they were doing. It was done before we knew it! Adam was a pleasure(professional, responsive) to work with to schedule a date for clearing our property...and then rescheduling after flooding from the July downpours made roads to and from our property impassable. Ernest and crew arrived promptly on the day that we rescheduled. They removed 2 trees, one if which hung precariously over our cabin without issue, cleaning up after completing.They also cleared an acre and half of dense brush/saplings and trees on mountainous terrain and completed the job with both quickness and thoroughness...the total job took about 3 hrs to complete...I highly recommend McCullough Bros...easy to work with, responsive, courteous, professional...all at a fair price!

I hired McCullough Bros. to remove a large tree on my property that was becoming a danger. The tree was removed very promptly and professionally. The gentleman Ernie surely is a master at running the remote controlled crane with precision. His two helpers were also very curtious and worked well together on the chipper. Fantastic company! I had a huge maple in my backyard that was dying so I called to have it looked at.
Adam came out the same day I called and then gave me a fair estimate. They came a little over a week later and took care of it. You can't even tell they were here. Very professional company.

New house with old trees. I don't like having them cut down but a few needed to go. The work was done McCullough Bros, with Ernest Cormia as Forman. A thunderstorm made the job a 2 day event. They were amazing to watch. They did a great job right down to the clean up. I had them leave the sawdust for use in my yard.

I’ve left multiple messages for them to finish a job from a tree that fell on our house and ripped the siding and out a hole in the roof, split our hot tub lid and messed up some external outlets. Albeit Adam and his crew did a great job removing the tree in this two part project they offered to handle and we paid for the first half of it already but I’ve left at least 4-5 messages since someone came out to make a list of what needed to be fixed and get an estimate to me so the job can be finished.and no one has responded. Today I gave up with these guys and called a different company we are familiar with to get the job done. Not impressed at all with the communication from this company .

I had a tree fall on my shed after a wind storm; They responded to my call and sent someone out to estimate the same day. Two men came on a Saturday. The guys were proffesional introducing themselves when they arrived and made quick work of the tree. Before leaving they knocked on the door to let me know the job was complete and to see if I had any questuons before they left. I can't say more about how responsive they were to my situation. 100% would use them again!

I called McCullough Bros to take down several cedar trees that were causing damage to my house, they were in a tough spot because of only a small space between my house and the neighbors, also power lines . They did an amazing job and ground up all the waste for a great price !!!!

The McCullough Brothers crew arrived on time for our appointment today. We were having 4 trees removed from our back yard. Everyone that was on site working was courteous, professional, and extremely hard working. The job was tough, and required real skill. These men were quick and efficient. The trees were removed and our yard cleaned up beautifully. I cannot say enough about the quality of the work that the crew did. We are having them back in the spring to prune/shape several other trees. A big thank you to Adam for setting everything up and giving us a very fair price.

Adam came to give me a quote and was here to do the work less than a week later. The two young men did a great job cutting bushes and one dead tree. They cleaned up everything extremely well. I was very impressed and would highly recommend them. I would have liked a call the night before but it’s okay as I was home.

The crew showed up to take down many trees that were extremely close to my father's house. Everything was done expertly and the clean up was amazing. The crew was on time, very professional, and worked tirelessly (it was a big job!). Especially appreciated and very unexpected was that they did some work to repair the stone driveway that their heavy machines were on. They not only fixed the damage (which was VERY minor and completely expected on the soft driveway) from their machines, but fixed problems that resulted from winter plowing! We were saved from having to call in someone to do a job we had planned to do when they were gone.

Additionally, we had some trees cleared on our property to make room for a terrain park for our sons. Upon hearing it was for a terrain park, the crew saved a nice, straight hardwood tree for us to use in the park AND trees were taken down as close to the ground as possible so that skis don't get caught on them. Even after all the trees that were taken down and ground up, there was ZERO damage to our bike trails. We completely expected to have to rebuild parts of the bike trails.

I will definitely use this company going forward! They are professional and care about the work they do.

Adam and crew are one of the best service providers of any contractor discipline I have dealt with in Vermont. They are prompt, professional, and very safety conscious. I had contracted with McCullough Brothers Inc, to remove 10 very large white pine trees which were very close to my garage. Adam said he could do it in one day and might be able to do the job before November. I had to go out of town this week and told him if he wanted to start while I was gone that was okay. Lo and behold, when I returned two days later, all 10 trees were gone, the lawn was cleaned up and the sun was shinning in the back yard for the first time time in many years. They even took away a pile of pine logs that I had cut down previously as an added bonus! Quick, efficient and very pleased with the work ethic. Thanks Adam and the great crew he had working. They had to carry all the cut brush and logs to the front of the house to the chipper. I still don't know how they did it in one day. I would totally recommend them for any landscaping needs. Adam was wonderful throughout the entire process. We were first impressed by his knowledge of trees, not only to remove ones that were dead and dangerous to keep but also how to best think about replanting in the spring. The tree service was done very well. We then used Adam and his crew for driveway excavation including running new drainage and creating a new rock wall. We are very impressed with the quality of work and plan to continue to use Adam and his crew in the future.

don't want to mow your lawn because it is too big? weed-whacking a real drag on your time? don't feel like shoveling snow when old man winter arrives? then call McCullough Brothers, Inc. couple of years ago i was sick and tired of shoveling snow because of back pain. called these guys, and within a few minutes, dirveway was plowed. reasonable rates. prompt service. i slao live in rutland. but even if it takes more than a few minutes, gives this business a call. you won't be disappointed. oh yeah.....they do all kinds of tree work as well.

This is our 2nd experience using McCullough Brothers... exceeded our expectations once again. Took down 2 large pines, cleaned up a large downed pine, took down a dying birch which was very close to our home and cleaned up a Cherry that split near the top (this was tricky since we wanted to save the tree), ground 3 stumps and most importantly they cleaned up! You would never know they were here! McCullough's has the equipment, staff and expertise we required and they delivered... all for a reasonable cost! Thank you Adam, Jamie and the crew!

We had two 100 foot trees within striking distance of our house. Adam and Jaime did a great job planning out every detail of the removal from figuring out the best way to move equipment across the lawn to safety taking taking down the trees while my kids watched from a distance.
