Max & his team did a big addition and garage/studio for us. He and his crew were extremely hard workers & good people. His Engineer even helped us with the county in some plan changes! We are super happy with the completed work. Definitely someone I would recommend and trust!

Max and crew did some emergency repairs to a leaking roof. They were responsive, replying far quicker to my call than any other business I contacted. Once they arrived I knew I was in good hands. Very professional, they explained exactly what caused the problem and what other problems they discovered as the work progressed. I was very grateful and felt well taken care of. Max and the guys were all friendly, helpful, thorough and very fair. I can honestly say I would recommend them for any project with confidence in their work, honesty, pricing and responsiveness.

Max and his team are awesome! We had a short timeline to get some remodel work done before putting our house on the market. While most other contractors were too busy, no show for appointments, etc.. Max showed up a couple days later, on time, and started knocking out the work. He was also half the price of some of the other bids we received.

No BS. He listens to what you want, gives you great advice, and does what was agreed to. Highly recommended.

Max and Daniel did an outstanding job repairing and “winterizing” our roof. This included an initial repair that needed very prompt attention. Their work did the trick and gave us a heavy dose of “peace of mind.”

We gave referred them to several of our neighbors and, no surprise, they have thanked us profusely. We won’t hesitate to call them first for all of our hone repair needs.

I have hired Max and his team twice and am in the process of using him again for a third job. He is very easy to work with, provides helpful insight, stays in budget, and does what he says he will do. I have also referred him to several business relationships of mine and my bank who does construction loans. I will continue to use and highly recommend Max as a contractor I know, like, and trust. Max and Ramey built our custom home. The house was completed on schedule and they were great to work with. We've never had a home built before and they were great at guiding is through the process. Lots of experience they shared with us.

Normally I'm not one to look at reviews before I make a decision on what services to acquire from a company. But a friend recommended Max Built Construction so I thought why not. However, I wish I would have explored other options. Their paint job is wanting and their customer care don't bother listening to client's complaints.

One of the worst experiences of my life. I have wasted all my money on people that have not even completed 10% of what I asked for and I have been left with a mess.

Simple tasks were left incomplete and on contacting these people, I got 0 response. I have never felt so aggravated and disheartened at something so much. I will not recommend this company to anyone else as I feel deeply disappointed. I do not have the words to describe my awful experience.

If you want your work done by a company that does a good job and has good communication with their customers then do not contact or work with this company.

Terrible services. Claimed to be timely, although took much longer than agreed on to meet. Next, the guys could barely get their job done. Half of the things I paid thousands of dollars for to be fixed were not finished. Everything that was "finished" remained in poor shape, or even worse. I was also upset to hear that they weren't coming back the next day, after telling me "their job is finished." I don't recommend Max Built to anyone. Stay away unless you want your money to be wasted and your home looking the same or worse after spending.

Honestly wondering if the reviews are actually legit. I hired them to do a simple painting job in my kitchen and I was expecting a professional finish and flawless job, but they did quite the complete opposite work. It looked worse than the way it was before. I thought okay mistakes happen and tried calling them again several times, and I get literally no response. First they mess up the work and then don't communicate properly. This is total rip-off, not recommending it to anyone.

Good people? These guys especially, Max, are very dishonest. We hired them to frame our house which originally was for 16,000. We paid them 22,340 dollars to complete construction in 3 weeks as per contract. It took them 5 weeks and they left us a mess. I will not begin to talk about the construction other than it was completely disorganized and sloppy. Part of the contract was agreement that All work was done and that we would pass inspections. Neither of these occurred. I had to call for inspection 3 times before I passed it myself. It took me 18 hours to fix all the structural defects. 33 missed truss straps including two girder straps. Neither deck had a stitch of strapping and many of the trusses had only 1 nail holding them down. The trusses did not have any of the required bracing. These guys frame houses for a living??? I still do not have stairs to even get into my house and they were included. The crew had the plans for over a month and new the conditions. They were paid on time and early. Their transparency is cowardly as they are now blocking my comments on their FB page. What are they trying to hide. Perhaps inability to read a blue print correctly? Probably, as they missed 4 critical walls in the house, 3 windows and installed painted black windows without even following the engineers design. I would not hire these guys for a custom home. Never, never. You will regret it. I had 5 other crews who wanted this and I settled on them because of their shiny trucks. Because Max responded I will include pictures to prove my point and transparency. At main issue is weather or not stairs are included as part of the skeletal structure. Most builders say so especially with my terrain. The plan says so. My current picture says it all. There is a contract and they were paid in full. Indeed, stairs were included and so was ability to pass the framing inspection!

Max Built Construction replaced our 30 year old roof in the Olympia area. They did a terrible job, leaks from the chimney and in the garage. Did a patch job to fix it. There are water marks on the sheet rock from the leak. Said they wound come replace it. After at least 10 calls, they have never fixed it. It has been over a year of calls. Stay away, go with someone else. Shoddy work.

Max Built Construction is the best. Very professional, on time, and work was done exactly as agreed upon. I would definitely hire Max again. I highly recommend him and his company!

Max and crew replaced the roof on two homes I own here in the Olympia/Lacey area. They did an exceptional job in all aspects of the work from removing the old roofing materials and disposal to installation of the new roofing. I would not hesitate to employ them again and will do so if ever the need arises! Good people are hard to find and these guys are good folks to be around!!
