Mathews Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Mt. Vernon

DO NOT!! take your car there to be serviced! Erica in the "service department " is rude and really has no idea what is going on. My car broke down and when I called out to tell them, she laughed. I asked her what was funny and she back peddled and said, well I know its not funny but we won't be able to even look at it until the 1st of March. It broke down on Feb 10th. Long story short, I took it to John Hinderer Chrysler Jeep in Heath and it is already fixed. NEVER EVER going to Matthew's again.

I brought my vehicle in for an oil change today. I had called two weeks ago to schedule…but stupid me called the WRONG dealership. MCDJR was still able to get my vehicle in for an oil change. Their staff was nothing short of professional and friendly and courteous. I will recommend their services to everyone! Thanks!!!!

Chris was an amazing salesperson! Courteous, helpful, answering any and all questions i had. Put in all efforts to get me where i needed to be to put me in the Jeep I wanted.The financial department went above and beyond to meet my needs as well! Highly recommend!

Would not recommend took them 8 hours to do an oil change and brakes they make you think it's covered under your warranty but it is not I will never be taking my vehicle back to them for anything like that again the word to the wise if you know how to do an oil change and brakes do it yourself

I had called about a shifter cable bushing needing to be ordered for my car that only the dealership could get they let me know that I had three recalls that were outstanding two of which I had been battling for a year not knowing about they had scheduled me for August 22 to have the work done, I had asked if I could drop the car off early and get a loaner to which they agreed on and called me a week before my car was supposed to be worked on to tell me that my car was Complete and ready for pick up. Very customer service, friendly, quick and efficient and I couldn’t be more pleased with the overall job that the entire team of Matthews done for me. This was a car I bought from them eight years ago and it’s been nothing but good to me. I’ve also bought my wife’s Pacifica, they’ve always been good to my family And I highly recommend you shopping there for your next vehicle needs.

Pretty solid Dealership experience. Drove from out of state for Ram 2500. Dave my sales rep was great to deal with. Went through everything on the truck with me and honestly best sales rep I’ve delt with in a long time. 10/10. Thanks guys

Staff was very helpful and honored Memorial Day service promotions. One of which was a free car wash with the oil change. Best dealer car wash I can remember. They went above and beyond and at a price that was better than big city dealers.

I had the pleasure of taking my Jeep Sahara to Mathews CDJR of Mount Vernon and was extremely pleased with the customer service from Joe and Erica. I had some additional concerns about my Jeep outside of my dianogistic appointment and they were able to advise what the issues were and the cost. The cost of my repairs made my heart smile. Erica is great!! I received a call before any work was done and received a follow up call to confirm all is well since the repairs, now how awesome is this!!

Well after leaving a great review about my recent purchase, the car I just bought a week ago broke down and had to be towed.... in the week I've owned it, the battery has needed replacing, a headlight needed replacing, the backup camera stopped working and the radio only works some of the time. And I am very unsatisfied with the service department. Waste of 5 minutes to call them.

Eric Ball was amazing to work with. He was not pushy and took into consideration all the reasons I was looking for another car so that he could show me the right ones for our family. I hate car shopping but he made the experience easy and seamless. The finance manager was also a pleasure to work with.

Eric was up front with everything from the beginning.
Appreciated the extra effort he took to get the Jeep we wanted to test drive back from Marion.

This company has called me 12 times over the last three days, and keeps asking for a person who is not affiliated with this phone--and I've had this number for 20 years. I have explained I am a 90% disabled vet with CPTSD and that they were triggering me. The calls have now continued for three days despite my pleading. When I called the manager he denied I received calls from his store.

Service on my Jeep has been fantastic! I am 30 minutes away, so I just sit and relax in their waiting room during my oil changes. Thank you Mathews for your warm, friendly and professional team in Sales and Service!

Amazing experience with this group. They went above and beyond for me. My sales professional Chris Long was patient and did everything he could to get me to where I needed to be and was even able to get me lower monthly payments with a few other perks. Mathews is my go-to dealer. I had taken my Jeep in for routine maintenance and they reminded me of a recall that I had totally forgotten about. They offered to do it then so I wouldn't have to make another appointment. They really value your time and are very professional.

Jamie and Joe are the best. Very friendly and accommodating. Love how they make you feel like long time customers. We are new to the area and they treated us so nice.

No complaints on the service. Went great and reasonable price for oil change and tire rotation. My only concern was when I picked up my vehicle after purchasing it a few months ago the fuel tank was on empty. So my first stop was a gas station was something I never had to do even buying a new vehicle. The other thing that was weird was the salesman that sold me the truck never acknowledged me while I was walking around waiting on.my vehicle to be serviced.

If you customer service to be better then any place in the world it's NOT this place. You get any form saying a trade in, don't waste your gas going to this place. Also a sale is more important then a person's welfare. They see dollar signs. Personally I would go back to JD BYRIDER to get another car from them and pay the extra amounts and being taken care for then being lied to by to a salesman. There is nothing you can do to fix my problem with your company since my boyfriend and I have told everyone we know to NOT go to you. Don't send false advertisement when you hold your promises. If this was such a big concern to you, you have my name on file for 2009 Jeep Wrangler and you could have given me a call. Even Mr. Perry called me from YOUR company to get MY information. So you have the capability to reach out by phone. I'll gladly talk to you over the phone. Worst customer service experience ever!!

Update: I did try to speak with the General Manager and I left a VM for him. He never returned my call! So I'm not happy with this at all.

Another Update: My boyfriend has recently brought it to my attention that the Jeep we have has been refurbished in a terrible way. Also the roof that can be taken down in spring to drive in nice weather is leaking and has caused damage inside the Jeep. Here's another reason JD has been better to us. They do refurbish before selling but at least it's quality. And the carpet in the truck is also poor quality. You can tell they don't care. I've never been so horrified with a company in my life. And yet they don't return my call. Shame. Guess the review will mount the more issues I find.
