We were thinking about replacing our wooden deck with a Trex deck and a friend recommended Dylan at Mason Contracting. When we called him he immediately answered and stopped by that day to give us an estimate. Construction began within a week and was finished on time. We couldn’t be more satisfied with the results. June 2022- Hired Dylan to do a perimeter fence while out of town. He got it done timely as per our request so we could move our dogs up to the house and not worry about them getting loose. Great experience and perfect job.
February 2023- we hired Mason Contracting again, this time to build a deck, while out of state. We talked about concept, budget, timeline etc via texts, pics and FaceTime. We trusted Dylan based on our impression and how he handled the initial relationship. BEST EXPERIENCE we’ve had in a while. On every level the attention to detail was there. Highly recommend.

I was tired of looking at a drab, lifeless area behind our house but didn’t really know exactly how to improve the area. Together, Heather and Dylan designed the perfect deck for our space. Dylan worked thoughtfully and efficiently to create a beautiful, functional deck that expanded our outdoor living space, and drastically improved the exterior of our home. Dylan’s craftsmanship and work ethic are truly hard to find these days.

Dylan rejuvenated our existing deck with all new decking boards, railing, and added three gates. It looks amazing and we have already gotten a lot of use out of it. Everyone who has seen it has commented on how amazing it looks. The system he uses to screw the decking boards in makes it aesthetically appealing and all the screws are hidden so no worries about tripping or our children catching one on their feet. Great attention to detail with sanding and smoothing out the edges for added protection. The project was timely and he kept us up to date on the progress. We’re so happy we chose Mason Contracting for our project and would definitely recommend.
