Martin's Roofing Dog

Very incompetent company, total disregard for other peoples property. Beware if they are working next to you. They left black shingle marks all over my new siding (should have leaned plywood up against it) and would have burned up my central air unit had I not been home to catch it being covered up with tarp and shingles.

Called had a quoted completed and sent in 2 days and work was completed the next week all in one day. Roof looks great! Thank you!!!

Would have Been nice to return my calls. Had to leave messages to get some one to even do an estimate. Then left messages to get your quote. All you did was call back and leave another message.
I've moved on.

2.5 Stars...Had Garage Roof completed. The part that was completed looks good. Just a word of advice to make sure you understand your quote and if it includes the flat part of the roof too. Our big mistake and set aside much more money to be on the safe side. Also they didn't clean up their roofing debris, they left 3 rolls of nails in my driveway under the leaves and shingle pieces. While making the payment; MSR was told about the debris. They offered to come and clean it up but we declined because we were already upset the small slanted roof on the garage was not included with the quote. But what they did do was come a few days later after we paid and picked up a little of the unused material, (which I'm sure we had already paid for). That was bad business. If they had time to return to my property without permission, than they should have picked up the waste without being asked. The communication wasn't the best. Like others stated, I called several times and no answer. I had to call just to get updates and time frames. There was no communication as to when the job would be completed (leaving that trash confused me as to if they were completed). Thank goodness it is not everyday one needs a roof!

After being put off by a roofer who claimed to be the best I decided to give Martin & Sons the job. Took a little while to get on their schedule and it got delayed with a lot of rain but once they got started there was no stopping. I am impressed.

Had a quote from them to do my garage flat roof for 10,100...not knowing better I accepted. They set a date....they never showed or called....weeks went by and I called another roofer. I'm so glad now they never came as the new roofer is only charging me 5,500 for the same job using the same materials. How can this be?

Had a near identical experience to Vivian. It took them over 3 months to finally get started on the job, never sent over a quote, etc. They finally came when I got irritated. This was over a year ago and I would've let it go if it weren't for the fact that where the work they did is now leaking and I can't reach anyone at their office.

We had a small leak in our kitchen ceiling. We called Martin & Sons to come and and take a look for a repair. He came out when he said he would, gave us a verbal quote and said that he would mail a written quote to us. That was on a Thursday. On Saturday, an even worse residual leak began in another area (from an earlier rain 2 days before). I became somewhat frantic and called them back (on Saturday) to see if he could come at take another look. I called at 9am and left a message and was told someone would call me back that day. I called again at 1pm (roof is still leaking) and left another message. She said she would make sure he understood the urgency and that it was the second time I called. I did not receive a call, and no call on Sunday. I tried to call again on Monday, still no call back. And we have yet to receive the written estimate he said he would send. We had every intention of using them to do the repair work, but due to the lack of any contact from them our plan changed. Even if they had called to say 'I'm sorry, we just don't have the manpower to get to it', they would have still had a chance.

("wow") I guess that pretty much sums up my expierence with Martin and Sons Roofing. I have a flat roof and had some leaking by the drain and weather head fittings. When you have a flat roof any leakage is a disaster. I called todd because they did another job for me this past fall. He came out and went right to work. Rubber roofing is a total mystery to me but not to him. Todd opened the roof up and saw the issue right away. He and his guys went right to work. The end result looked every bit as good as the original roof and as I watched them perform the repairs I was well impresed. They left the job site clean as a whistle. Todd stayed within his quote and the work was done in a very timely manner. If you have a problem with your roof give these guys a call. thank you Todd and Alex and your dad.
