Got the roof done in a day. Finished the gutters and vents on the second day. They were very respectful to the property and left if better than when they arrived.
We did have some confusion with the order about the gable vents, but working with Marshall, they adjusted the order.

Marshall Building and Remodeling replace the windows in my entire house. The workers were professional and the workmanship was outstanding.
Every person I delt with in the process was knowledgeable and professional. The timeframe was exactly as they said and someone was always accessible if I had any questions.

As a professional Cabinet maker, I appreciate craftsmanship and that was their installers, I actually was very impressed and thanked them for their attention to detail. From my very first outreach with Maureen, the communication was clear and responsive. She coordinated a site visit with Ryan, who came to our home in Exeter, RI for a thorough walk-through and estimate. His professionalism and knowledge gave us immediate confidence in moving forward.

Kobie took over as our project manager, and he kept everything running smoothly. We had reached out to several other local companies prior to Marshall, but they never followed through. A friend in Massachusetts, Michelle, had worked with Marshall and recommended them — I was so pleased to learn they also covered our area.

Our project involved replacing a large section of damaged cedar shakes on one side of our house, thanks to an overly determined woodpecker. The team removed the old material and installed new shakes that perfectly matched the rest of the house. They also updated the shingles on our barn to tie everything together.

The installation crew was hardworking, respectful, and meticulous. Both work areas were surrounded by a garden of native plants, and they were incredibly careful with ladder placement to avoid any damage. They cleaned up thoroughly each day and treated our home with the utmost care.

After thorough internet research and conversations with neighbors who had similar work done to their homes, my wife and I decided on Marshall Building and Remodeling to replace our home's roof and install new siding on the entire exterior. We met initially met with Ryan, who could not have been more personable and professional. He went to great lengths to show us our options and the associated costs. Ryan then showed us what our choices would actually look like on our home via a program he had on his computer tablet. We were able to see what our home would like when completed. Needless to say we were sold at that point.
Several days later, Luis and his roofing crew arrived. Somehow, they were able to strip off the old roof, replace the rotted plywood, reflash all the critical areas and install the new shingles in one day. Their cleanup was phenomenal. All while in the middle of a July heat wave, unbelievable!
The next day, Jose and his siding crew arrived. It took about five days and the finished product was a masterpiece in my opinion. I have never witnessed a harder working crew in all my years and I have to say Jose is a master of his craft. Like the roofing crew, Jose's team cleaned up after each day and when the project was completed, it literally looked as if they were never there, they were that thorough.
So obviously my wife and I are very pleased with how the project turned out. From start to finish, everyone at MBR from Ryan, our project manager Colby, Cameron our electrician and Luis and Jose and their crews, and the office staff, couldn't have been any nicer or more helpful. To my fellow homeowners, replacing your roof and/or siding is a huge project in many ways. Do your due diligence when selecting a company. My wife and I did and we chose MBR. It was an easy decision for us.

I could not be more happy with the job they did. The crew showed up early as promised and covered all my plants, patio and doorway, went right to work, stripping the roof, replacing any plywood that need to be replaced, prepairing the roof and shingled it. Cleaned up all their mess and cleaned up all the nails. They did the whole roof in one day and I would have never known they were here if it was not for the noise which I was expecting. They left everything in better codition than it was I would highly recommend them to anyone that needed any work done.

Marshall installed seven replacement windows and a new sliding glass door to the deck at my home. Their pricing was very competitive. The two workers arrived earlier than scheduled. Marshall estimated about a day and a half to do the job, but the workers finished in one. They were very neat, were very careful of the property, and had terrific finish-work suggestions. Workmanship was great. Could not ask for more. Highly recommend them.

The installers did a fantastic job, the cut line where the James Hardy plank come to the roof is perfectly straight and consistent in all areas. The flashing they installed is bent with clean sharp edges and looks amazing.

From the first moment Keith came out to price the job I could tell this was a company that I wanted to work with.Jae in the main office kept me up to date on the progress of the job; always pleasant and professional. Taylor oversaw the siding portion of the job and he is an absolute perfectionist. Unfortunately they uncovered rotting boards that the previous company had covered over but they quickly took care of all the problems and the finished job is absolutely beautiful! They also redid my second floor decking and stairs. Ernie managed this part of the job and we are so pleased with the outcome.

Orlando and his team were unmatched! They were organized, enthusiastic, and aggressive in their approach to the tasks at hand in the stripping/replacement of 3,000 sq ft of roofing shingles; the removal/replacement of sub-roof requiring a full 12 sheets of plywood; the removal/replacement of a cupola; and the removal of old/replacement with a new skylight.

The area prep; the stripping/ installation; and the comprehensive post-op clean up-- all done within 9 hours-- was exemplary. We could not be more pleased with the final product!

From the first day I reached out to the final day of clean up on the project, it was an awesome process with Marshall. Ryan R. was a GIANT help early on with getting us the exact options we wanted and making sure everything lined up in the correct timeframe/price. I can not express enough the job that Byron and his crew did on our home. I was blown away how hard his crew worked. Our home is on a island on the bay, where the wind was fierce and cold. Once the above project was complete, we had added an additional window, not originally in the quote, as well as waited for a replacement window that came in cracked. They arrived about 1 week later to which Marshall was prepared to install immidiately. The installer was on time courteous and knowledgeable. He finished the project quickly and professionally. Yet, another great installer on the team at Marshall. The office had scheduled and followed up with us as if we were family. The crews were hard working, friendly, respectful of the property, and the results were fantastic. Marshall also helped us select quality products to meet our budget and colors to suite our taste. I had roof/skylights replaced on my home and it was a great experience. From the person who contacted me to set up appointment after I reached out , to TJ who came out to do proposal , to my contact people , to John and his crew - everything was awesome . Marshall was very responsive to all my questions - their communication is top notch . TJ/contact people let me know times and dates and John kept me updated throughout the day of installation . At conclusion of installation , my yard was spotless with nary a nail or piece of paper left anywhere :) I highly recommend Marshall for any roofing project (or any other project) - great RI company . Very very satisfied and I know if I have any other questions , they will be there to stand behind their product .

Had a roof replacement done. Good price, finished job was ~$150 over the estimate, but that seems really reasonable to me. Great communication, quick work, easy financing. Looks great!

Workmanship was wonderful. Crews were polite, respectful, and did a great job installing and cleaning up. Unfortunately, what should have been a one day installation became a multi-week install. Everything went wrong, some of it out of the company’s hands. BUT! Not initially ordering the replacement shutters and then ordering the wrong size is poor work. The storm door came in the wrong color and design but it was damaged and so became a non-issue. They reordered the correct one and a better quality door. The exterior door we wanted replaced we were never able to finalize. The office staff is always polite and upbeat, but there is a definite disconnect somewhere.

Marshall Building and Remodeling was the best decision we ever made regarding our home. This company is amazing from start to finish. They showed up when they said they would. Quality of the work was outstanding and friendly. I highly recommend this company and look forward to using them again on future projects.

If I didn’t know better I would have thought this was a start up company. What went from a one day revamp with 5 replacement windows, a storm door, and six shutters became a multi week process. While the crews did an excellent installation, being polite, respectful and doing a great cleanup, I have no idea what is happening in the office.
We tried to add an extra exterior door to the job but could never finalize it with the sales department. The storm door came in the wrong color and style, and the shutters were never initially ordered, and then came in the wrong size and had to be reordered, all leading to more delays.
The office staff was always very upbeat and polite during phone calls, but I would never use Marshall’s again, nor would I refer them to anyone. The only reason they received any stars at all were because of their install crews were so pleasant.

We had to replace 7 skylights windows in cold and windy conditions. Rolando and his crew never wavered from the mission of getting the job done quickly and correctly. It was like they were never there after the job was done.

The materials and the crew arrived when expected. Got the job done in one day. Cleaned the yard of all debris. The house roof and shed look great.

Nick Ventura is the BEST! He made the process incredibly easy. I got 5 new windows, and was so happy with them, I got 11 more after. Nick was thorough, patient, and I’m looking forward to getting more windows through him next year!

This was a big job for us. Two houses, one with windows,siding and doors. The other, windows and a storm door. The Marshall team is exceptional. Starting with TJ, who has an amazing attention to detail, great sense of humor and an abundance of knowledge. Never made us feel pressured. We honestly felt like we'd known him all our lives. Update: May, 2025 - recently noticed that, inadvertently, there was one missing section of gutter guards from our 2023 project. I called Marshall and (understandably) was told it might be a week or two for someone to get back to me and schedule a visit. However, within just a couple of days, I received a call and a visit and the guards are installed! The gentleman from Marshall even cleared out our gutter... above and beyond! Needless to say, we continue to be very pleased we worked with Marshall for your products and services!
