MARS Restoration

After a recent hail storm, Mars Roofing stopped by and asked if they could climb on my roof. I politely said "no". This went on for numerous days over several weeks! Very frustrating! I came home one day to them installing a sign in my yard! What the heck!! I immediately threw the thing away. When they made another stop by my house asking if they could get on the roof, I told them I would call the police for trespassing if they came by again. They have not shown up anymore. I'm surprised this company has so many positive reviews. After talking with my neighbors, some of them picked Mars and are not having a very good experience. I can't count the number of conversations and door hang tags they left me. At least the sign they installed in my yard was only there for a few minutes before it was destroyed - how do you install a sign in a random yard?? Find another company. This is my experience and opinion.

Update for owner - Now that I know you look at these comments, it's not that your presence was bothersome, it's that you continously came to my home bothering my wife, kids and I after I asked you not to EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.

Secondly, installing a sign in my yard was not appreciated. I have no business relationship with you and did not approve.

Third, please call some of the homeowners back if you haven't yet, they have indicated you have not returned their calls or showed up when the insurance company did for the review like you said. Another elderly neighbor indicated a deposit was taken and they couldn't reach you to move forward. I feel very sorry for them and hopefully it was only a small deposit? Please just call my neighbors back if you haven't already.

This is my opinion and experience /conversations with neighbors.

This past May 2025, unfortunately with climate change being on the rise and the weather more and more unpredictable, my geographic area was subject to violent storm which was accompanied by hail of the size of today's eggs size. Following that ravaging storm while cutting my grass, I was approached by a very professional lady dressed in Mars Restoration uniform requesting to assess the damage Incurred if any by the recent ravaging storm. I could not believe that the next item on my todo list was getting checked swiftly without a phone call. Without hesitation I agreed to have my roof inspected and was booked for same day inspection. About an hour later, Amir, a Mars Restoration agent- dressed professionally from top to bottom and ready to complete a 360degree - square by square roof inspection which lasted about 1.5 hours with very professional digital image of the damages. Amir was well spoken, detailed, and skilled. He composure was soothing. The information and details provided for the next steps of the process in dealing with Home Owner Insurance was very helpful. Amir assisted me after I reach my insurance in describing in a technical jargon the damages which made process even smoother.Amir made time and showed up a second time during the Home owner insurance inspection to ensure that the inspection is done thoroughly and that any findings were taken into consideration. Fast forward, the inspection was completed and the insurance approved the restoration of my roof. I am pleased with that milestone and I am currently waiting for the roof restored work to begin. Mars Restoration is truly a five star roof restoration company that get the job done !!!!

Rob and Andrew came out and gave me a inspection after a hail storm they were polite professional and did a good job.

Andrew T was great today! He was very clear and concise in what he saw and the pictures he provided were very helpful!

Had a sales person come to the door on Saturday to offer a Roof Inspection due to a recent thunderstorm with hail. I usually don't follow through with door-to-door but his was a quick turn around after the Memorial Day holiday. Franklin showed up on time and did his inspection. He showed me all of the pictures he took and showed that there was no hail damage, that the roof was in good condition, and that he would not recommend me to do anything to the roof.

That type of honesty and not trying to find something out of nothing resulted in this rare review from me and that I will keep MARS in my list of companies to call in the future to work on my home.

I just recently spoke with Austin and Jose today in the morning and they were fantastic! They helped me get a brand new roof due to the recent hailstorms in my area. The professional attitude it’s an example of a great company. Mars Restoration is by far the best company out there. If you do business with them you know that they are a 5 star quality company! QuiQui was very informative about the storm we had over the weekend. I didn’t think anything of it because my roof is new but luckily I was able to get the same day inspection and learned that my roof was indeed damaged from the storm. I will be moving forward with Mars Restoration.

Recently had a hailstorm in our area… our home is over an hour away from their office. No knock on the door but walked into our backyard while my husband was cooking dinner. He said several times that he would look at the brochure the lady provided, she wouldn’t take no for an answer and pressured him to make an appointment this Wednesday. He also told her our roof is only 3 years old but she was insisting that he scheduled an appointment. We were called by the company to schedule an appointment before she even left our neighborhood. We will not do business with this door knocking company. Go back to Lanham.

Hands down the best experience! I’m a first time home buyer and honestly i’m not too knowledgeable on this whole roof situation but Jose B. really helped us out! I can tell he’s put in the time to learn about the product and he truly cares about the customer experience. Great service!

Despite my initial frustration due to a previous bad experience elsewhere, Mr. Enrico remained patient, polite and professional throughout our interaction. Although I declined the offer for a free inspection because I recently had a new roof installed, I still want to commend him for his respectful demeanor and composed approach. Nice job Mr. Hawkins.

I want to thank Austin for stopping by while he was in our area and notifying me about the shingles that i was unaware blew off my roof. After explaining how he could help for little to no cost i will now be getting a new roof thanks mars.

Michael was very helpful and explained everything perfectly to me about my parents roof damage and since I barely get a chance to visit them since im always working it was nice to have someone as insightful and experienced to point some of the things wrong with their roof so he deserves his props and I'm glad he wasn't just another one of those walk to your door and scam you guys this man knows what he does and is a clear proffesional.

It was truly a very positive experience from the first interaction with the representative who came to my home as well as the office personnel and the billing department. Franklin with Mars Restoration is the best contractor we have ever worked with. The whole team made the entire roof replacement process easy. Because of Franklin consistently surpassing my expectations, I would highly recommend Mars Restoration services.

Mars did mostly everything i would hope for from contractor. Hunter the project manager that handled my case was amazing and all in. Cindy from billing was also very thorough and cooperative with the insurance company blunders. The roofing crew were fast and efficient and cleaned up well after a nicely completed job. The only down side was the siding crew were a little sloppy and slow, but seemed to do good work as well. Very pleased I went with Mars and would recommend them to family and friends.

Rafael explained the process so well and explained how My roof was damage, he knows a Lot and he is super friendly.
