Marin Roofing

He was recommended by another business, said "Marin's great!", I called and asked for a metal and asphalt quote, he said he would come Wednesday. I texted him my address and e-mail. A week later, NOTHING. So I called, he couldn't get his STORY straight. 1st he said, "oh yeah, I went by, did you still want the quote?" Thrn he said, "UH, I never got your info-text" HELLO, HIW COULD YOU HAVE GONE BY MY HOUSE IF YOU HADNT GOTTEN MY TEXT WITH ADDRESS/EMAIL??? 3 weeks later, I'm STILL msging, asking if he git a chance to come by. No response. Doesnt answer his phone. guess I'll take my MONEY elsewhere. Very unprofessional. Waste of time.

They did some repairs on our roof and it looks better and has held up better than the rest of the roof.

Hired Mari. Roofing to do some roofing for us. We told him we were in a hurry to get it done and that a permit needed to be pulled. He took a few days before he told us he had submitted a permit. Then a few days went by and we asked him if it had been approved and he said he was waiting on the city. Another few days went by and we asked him again what the status was, and he said he will call the city. He supposedly called the city and he called us back saying he apparently didn’t submit it correctly so he will submit it again tomorrow. Well another few days go by, and he says we is just waiting on the city. Then another few days go by and nothing. So we finally call the city and guess what they said? They have NO record of Marin Roofing ever submitting a permit for our project. Why did he lie to us? Why? This show what type of person he is. We called a General Contractor names Luke, he submitted the permit, got it approved the next day and was done by the end of the week. That’s a good example of a good quality contractor. Beware of Marin Roofing. He is not honest.
