Joseph and the team at Mancia Roofing in Bowie, MD were incredible. The entire experience with the Mancia Roofing team was amazing. They were extremely responsive and accommodating in scheduling a roof inspection after we found some leaks in our ceiling. The staff were personable, friendly and knowledgeable. Their pricing was quite reasonable (for a whole roof replacement on our townhouse). Mancia Contractors is by far the best roofing company.  Besides doing excellent work (first day 6 guys worked for 12 hours), and being responsive every step of the way, their contract blew the competitors away. Make sure you include them when you do due diligence of obtaining several quotes. I got an estimate from them because they came out the same day to fix a leak in my daughter’s roof after a storm.  I liked their responsiveness and their ethics.
Mancia Contractor:
*was 16 thousand dollars under one competitor and 3 thousand under another.  My house has the original part (over 100 years old) and two additions so it is like two houses.
* Does not demand money or a signed contract at a lower price if you sign right away.  One company did that; another company just sent a contract with the assumption that I would just sign without ever talking to a representative.
* Got up on my roof before providing a proposal; neither of the other two companies did that; they just used Google Maps
* Examined my attic spaces; only one other company did that
* Examined my skylight and offered to replace it; neither of the other two companies did that
* Contract included 17 specific work items to be completed
* Took and sent several hundred pictures of the current damage and workmanship performed to correct those issues
* Included a TEN-year warranty for workmanship; one company offered two years; the other 5 years.  TEN YEARS!
* Was extremely polite, friendly and professional.  They kept me in the loop every step of the way and made sure that I knew I could call them anytime with questions or concerns.

About a month ago I had a terrible roof leak that ruined the ceiling in my master bed room. I was referred to the Mancia Roofing group through my neighbor contact board on Facebook. I must say that I can be skeptical when it comes to referrals however the Mancia Roofing company was very PROFESSIONAL! From the initial call with Kevin to the actual assessment and work completion with Joseph I was extremely please with the customer service, the communication and the overall fix to my roof issues. They are top notch at a really great price! If you are looking for roofing repair at a great cost consider this company!

The work was done quickly. Everything was explained thoroughly so I knew what to expect. Plenty of communication before and after the work. I will be using them on future projects.

I have worked with this company for over 15 years on multiple projects and I am never disappointed. They are the only trade company that I ever referred to friends.

I am remiss in writing this review but I need others to know that if they want an honest, reliable, reputable, skilled and knowledgeable roofer this is the company to call. I know because I have owned this property for 40 years and I have encountered a number of roofers, none that can compare to Mancia. These guys know their business and they exceed your expectations. Expect a full explanation of the process, why they recommend their solution and what options are available. They do what they say they'll do when they say they'll do it, in the most excellent way. Deconstruction to final cleanup was thorough, not a nail left on the ground. From the time I made my first contact with them, to the conclusion of our agreement I have never been disappointed. It has been 2 years since the install of a new roof and a skylight replacement. Another company wanted to charge twice as much for half the work.

On October 10, 2022 MANCIA CONTRACTORS did a complete roof replacement on my home. Some weeks prior, I met with Mike Mancia who came out to my home for the initial consultation. He was very knowledgeable in his experience and provided me with information regarding the job itself, and he also gave me insight on him and his brother, Joseph’s history as second generation roofers/contractors.
A few days after meeting, Mike’s brother, Joseph Mancia, provided me with an estimate/proposal including the full scope of work. He was very quick and knowledgeable about the roofing business. Joseph listened to my concerns and answered every question I had about the details of the project, the entire process including budget, materials, unforeseen things that may occur after removing the old shingles, timeline, etc. Joseph provided me with several pictures of shingle samples to assist me with choosing the right color for my home. Joseph provided me with updates via phone, text and email in a timely manner.
On the day of the install, the roofing team arrived on the job, ahead of the scheduled time, ready to work! The team was well organized, treated my home with safety and respectfully cleaned up after the job. MANCIA Roofing Contractors did a really great job with communicating throughout the entire process! We had our roof installed a few weeks ago (Shakewood color).They arrived early and was ready to start.We were informed on every part of the process including safety measures for us upon interring & exiting our home.Once they removed two layers of shingles they inspected the wood and was surprised that nothing had to be replaced (if we had waited another year it was likely that we would have had water damage as stated by a crew member).I was awed by how quickly they installed the new shingles and the new look is eye catching and we have received many compliments on how good the roof looks.Job well done and I’ve already recommended and shared photos with family and friends!!!

We recently had siding put on our house. Mike and Joseph are two of the most friendliest and professional contractors we have ever met. Our neighbor used this company for siding as well. Although they were not able to fix the roof on the first or second try, Joseph, the owner of the company took full responsibility and made sure it was done right the next time. He was very responsive and did a great job communicating and keeping me updated on the process. I would definitely recommend this company.

Worked with Joe on getting a roof repair done on my garage. He was proffesional and very helpful and pointed out some issues on my roof I hadn't noticed. He offered to put some sealant around some problem areas to hold until thr crew could come out and make repairs. The crew did a great job and I am very pleased with the work as well as the price charged. I would highly reccomend them for your roofing issues.

Longer story: JMancia roofing came recommended from a neighborhood listserv from someone who used them and swore they'd use them again. They were one of 3 estimates I obtained before hiring someone. The experience working with them was fantastic. They promptly sent one of the two brothers (Mike) who run the business to inspect and evaluate what I suspected was the need to replace the back roof on our house, to consult on a problem on the front from a previous replacement by another contractor, and to get an estimate on new 6" gutters and gutter guards.

Mike spent a good deal of time discussing the front issue so I understood what needed to be done and why the previous contractor messed up the work and explained why we had bubbling on the paint in our living room. Their estimate was competitive for both the back roof and the gutters and the price to fix the front portion was much less than I expected. Engaging with the other brother, Joseph, was seamless getting the contract set up, work done, and payment on Paypal. They booked the work, it was done as planned, and Joseph came out when all three jobs were done to inspect it, walk the roof with me, and answer my questions. During the work, I was texted pictures of the stripped roof and the new roof and repairs. I'd recommend them to anyone. Definitely get an estimate if you are considering some work and decide for yourself.

I had serious roofing problems at two residences. I called JMANCIA and spoke with Joseph. Although professional it was like speaking with an old friend. We set up an inspection date. He reported the damage which was terrifying to me since snow was expected. He put me at ease by doing a temporary fix and cover to avoid more complications.

He met me the same day at the second residence (my mother’s home). I’m 65 and very cautious about who I invite into my life. When I say I felt that I was dealing with someone who was treating me with respect and genuine concern, I’m truly not exaggerating.

He sent me pictures of both residences and his recommendations without pushy salesman tactics. He also sent me two sets of estimates for both one general and the other worst scenario. We agreed on price and date. His crew is very professional, polite and competent. They work fast and hard. Clean up was exceptional. He sent me before and after pictures of both and they look fantastic. I feel so much better. Since this is a recent job, I can say at this time I am very pleased and would recommend their services to anyone and everyone.

Joseph Mancia of Mancia Home Contractors repaired two holes in our siding. Many companies would not accept the job as it was "not big enough". Joseph was not only willing to do the job, he was able to successfully match the siding on a 20 year old home. This gentleman is a pleasure to work with. I got to know Mancia Roofing in my capacity as a realtor representing a family purchasing a home. In a case of a mistaken address, Mancia accidentally removed roof tiles from a home my buyer was purchasing the following week. Mancia took full responsibility for the mistake and took the high road: they installed a completely new roof with full warranty. I am very impressed and will recommend them to my future clients given their integrity and willingness to stand behind their work.

We used Mancia Contractors to fix our roof after a wind storm. They worked with our insurance company (who had made an error in their measurements) to make sure everything was right. They finished our roof in a day!

We were so happy with their work, we ended up hiring them to rebuild our fence a few weeks later. A job they said would take two days, took one and the work they did looks incredible.

It takes a lot for me to give a 5-star review, but I must say that I'm very impressed with JMancia Contractors. I found them based on a Google search. Joseph answered the phone and was very professional. A team member came out the same day and got on top of my roof, took pictures, and gave me his professional opinion about whether to replace or repair my roof. He even left samples of the type of shingles that would be used. A free estimate was also provided. Joseph and his team came out the next day and replaced my roof. They were able to complete the job within eight hours. It's been less than 24 hours since the job was done, but I must say that I was impressed every step of the way.

I knew nothing about roofing and how the process worked. JMancia explained every little detail in layman’s terms to me and answered all my questions, even the silly ones. I felt very secure knowing that my roof would be done professionally. I definitely would recommend them to family and friends!
