Amazing. Majco Roofing was amazing. They not only prepared the roof for an addition but completed the entire roof in one day. The organizational perfection of the roofers were impressive and fun to watch. There was no standing around. They were also meticulous with the clean up. This was the second time I have used Majco. This roofing company is by far the most professional I’ve used so far. They have a huge crew who completes the job in a very timely manner. My roof was large and very complicated with seven dormers, 2 skylights and multiple gables . The extremely polite and hardworking crew completed it in only 2 days. The owner is responsive and pleasant and his prices are very fair.

Peter and his crew were awesome to work with! Although we had a couple hiccups with replacing the very old and neglected cedar shingles on our 200 year old home, they managed to complete the job in 2 days and repair all the hidden surprises that come along with a job this big.
We chose Majco because the other companies that quoted us were either pressing us for what turned out to be unnecessary extras and/or had exorbitantly higher prices. The end cost came in right around our original quote and Peter was super responsive throughout the process. Peter Mischelli coordinated an amazing group of roofing colleagues who did an amazing job on restoring both the outside and inside of a damage with multiple holes in the roof thanks to tree damage from hurricane. Very professional, complete clean up, and inside looks better than before and responsive to producing invoices etc for insurance. Peter and his whole crew where very pleasant and professional to work with. Peter was able to get us scheduled fast and to when we requested. He even moved our date of installation up 3weeks earlier do to a leak in our boys room after all the rain we have had the past few weeks.
The crew that installed where so nice. Having multiple children who are curious about everything, they didn't mind them watching. They also moved debris out of the way when I took the kids to the park for a little while. The cleanup was amazing.

Majco installed a roof on a home I am building. The owner, Peter, made the process seamless. He offered multiple shingle manufacturers and made the selection process easy and straight forward. He provided a dumpster for clean-up which resulted in a spotless work site when his crews completed the installation. Their work was outstanding. When I had contacted them for estimate; they were professional and helpful to me as I choose the shingle type and style. The gave me a fair cost estimate and a date range they would start the job. They were able to begin on date estimated. There was a team of 9 workers that day who worked as a team to get the job done by end of day. They cleaned up the worksite and hauled away old shingles in a dumpster they had brought with them. Haven’t found any nails in the grass or flowerbeds around the house. I would use this company again if the need ever arises in the future. Thank you Peter.

After a tree fell on my roof, I called Peter on a Saturday morning. He inspected the roof, had his workers put tarps over the holes the same day.
The tarps held through severe wind, snow and rain.
Peter was so helpful in getting the information the insurance company needed, he was so patient and answered questions that we needed.
The roof was installed before a major freeze, his workers were so skilled and finished our large roof in two days.

I initially called Majco Roofing to get a third estimate on a new roof. I am from Portland and I liked seeing names of people I knew in their reviews. I am always alarmed if I don't see one name I recognize, my friends don't call me "the Mayor of Portland" for no reason. I know a lot of people! with that said my contractor friends are way too busy to do a roof.
So, back to Majco. I figured if they did the roof on Portland Head Light I should be in great hands. And I was!
Peter arrived to do the initial consultation and I liked him right away. I told him money was hard to find these days and he said he would give me a good price. And he did. His price was very good and he stuck by his word to "take good care of me"
Honestly, I don't know how anyone can be as patient as he is. I had a lot of fear and many questions and he never got upset. He put up with me and I almost could not even put up with me. I was so worried something would go wrong on my 112 year old house. However, Peter is a gentleman, through and through. Turns out I knew his wife, lol, yes,It is a small world.
The roof was done in a day, as he promised (the team worked non stop and were very professional) However, the icing on the cake was my neighbors roof had lost a couple of shingles and he had them repaired and put back up just because he is the nicest guy. I am glad I am done with this project and would highly recommend using Majco Roofing . My roof is perfect!

Not only was MAJCO’s price competitive, Peter was equally attentive to my construction demands which included a flawless one-day installation as well as EXTREME care when demolishing the old roof without damaging my extensive landscaping or new deck. By strategically positioning their demolition tarps, coupled with caring assistance from the crew, my precious plants and deck suffered no damage whatsoever. Other roofing contractors did not give me that assurance.
... and Peter’s crew is the best! They focused their efforts squarely on the job with incredible efficiency. The crew was truly a spectacle to watch, as they QUIETLY (other than unavoidable nailing and hammering) and energetically went about their business with a pleasant demeanor. Each crew member clearly knew his/her specific tasks to complete with little to no direction from their supervisor. There was no unnecessary yelling, no loud music, no undue commotion, unlike some other residential contractors I have seen or experienced. I first chose Peter because of is clarity in communicating what needed to be done. His estimate was thorough and clearly detailed what is entailed in the job. My roof was seeping water and the interior of my attic ceiling was covered in ice with an ice dam dripping through into a bedroom. I was quickly put on the schedule even though it was the last week in December. The Majco crew came and their teamwork was incredible to watch. They completed the roof in a day and clean up was great. I had a question after the roof was installed and Peter called me quickly to explain the answer. His communication was excellent and very prompt. I was so pleased and confident with his company I contacted him again when my father's roof had damage after a storm. Peter again was clear, helpful and honest in answering if the roof needed fixing or replacement. After his response it was decided a new roof would be the best solution and again the crew did a great job installing it. I confidently recommend Peter and Majco Roofing.

I was desperate on a Wednesday in June of 2019. My home owner's insurance was going to be cancelled due to the family home's location and proximity to the ocean. I had to get a new policy, and the first questions asked was "How old is the roof?" Since it was over 20 years old, I called MAJCO for an estimate. The owner, Peter Mitschele was nearby; he was able to stop over within the half hour. He gave me a reasonable price and said he had a crew with availability on Saturday. I agreed, and by Sunday I had a new roof, the yard was clean, and I had peace of mind. In the fall, I called him to do a restoration of the garage through adding a permanent metal awning, replacing the garage doors with French doors and a window, replacing three additional exterior doors, and constructing a "mackdaddy" outdoor shower. Peter and Majco are great to deal with, fair on pricing, use great communication, and most of all, use common sense to solve problems and meet and exceed expectations. His crews were polite and great to have around. I managed most of the construction from 900 miles away since this is a second home; I never questioned the trustworthiness or honesty of any of his representatives.

Peter's crew showed up on time and worked hard all day in stripping my house and attached garage roof, and replacing, along with two venting skylights....they started at 7:30 and were done by 3 PM.....Peter is a real pro...... articulate, attentive and considerate...gave us the name of his painter to touch up inside around skylight installs as cost...and we loved the two Cinnamon rolls!!

First, since I read a fair number of fake reviews when researching roofers, I want to say that I'm a real person! Peter was prompt in responding to my questions and his price was consistent with most other bids I got. His crew showed up on time and worked incredibly hard to finish the job in a day (ours is a big house with a complicated roof. ) The workmanship is top-notch. My only complaint is that the crew doesn't appear to have a foreman, so there was much shrugging of shoulders when I tried to ask questions. Peter himself only made a very brief appearance in the morning and didn't check in with us while he was there, which was a little frustrating. To be fair, I did email him a question and got a response within an hour. Overall very happy!

I hired Majco Roofing to install a new roof on the front of my house. Three people showed up at 8:00 am just as they said they would. Two men and a young lady went to work and all three seemed to know exactly what the others needed and when they needed it. Very organized. They stripped the roof and completely installed the new one. Set up, strip, install, clean up and pack up. 5 1/2 hours!!! Could not ask for anything more. I would recommend this company to anyone! Thank you, Glenwood Stowell.
