I needed an emergency repair to my building due to a Ram 2500 creating a big hole in it. Dan & the guys at Mainely Repairs & Remodels boarded up the hole with plywood same day! Fast service with a very polite manner...highly recommend!

Dan was able to warn us of possible problems during the quoting process, and provided multiple solutions at different cost levels. They skillfully supported the existing roof before working and even prepared for a snow storm by enclosing the whole job with a covered shelter beforehand. They also went above and beyond and called us right away when they smelled a gas leak outside, which turned out to be from the tank on the other side of the property having been dangerously overfilled!

I am unbelievably happy with the results. Dan was direct and transparent from the start. He answered all my questions and assisted me when dealing with then a less than helpful insurance company. When issues arose, I was immediately notified and repairs were discussed including costs to ensure no sticker shock at the end. There were multiple things that needed repaired prior to completing initial work extending the time at the house. I am sure that this was very difficult as there're other jobs yet I never felt that they rushed to complete and it was obvious they paid attention to every detail. Everyone working on the house was great with Cam even taking the time to placate my crazy chickens. I will be using them again!

I needed my basement windows replaced. Dan and his team were great from start to finish. They were always on time, courteous. worked the entire day and always cleaned up inside and out each day. The initial quote he provided never changed. Dan always made a point to check in with me each day to see if I had any questions or concerns with the work completed and to explain what was done. I would highly recommend them and will be reaching out to them on future projects.

I foolishly overestimated my property line and needed someone to come pull a few fence posts, replace them on my actual property, and rerun the chain link fence for my dog enclosure. Out of the several folks I reached out to for quotes, Dan was the only one who was responsive and prompt with a professional, clear estimate; he came to talk with me and review the needed work while on his lunch break from another job site and went out of his way to “weave” sections of the existing fence to make it work with the new placement. He showed up on time, did what he said he was going to—and a bit more for good measure, as he also fixed my gate at no extra charge— within the timeframe he committed to, picked up after himself, and was overall pleasant to engage with, all of which for me is worth its weight in gold when it comes to hiring service professionals. Dan did a great job on a difficult situation. I trust his expertise. He is honest and hard working, personable and very responsive. This is the second time we have hired him and we will do it again.

When Dan came out to do the estimate on building a proper stairway he listened with an open mind to my vision and discussed exactly what he needs to do to make it a reality. On day one he and his team showed up exactly when he said they would and they went right to work. Each day Dan took the time to explain each step of the build and answer any questions my wife or I had. Dan is a true professional and delivers quality workmanship. We love working with this company! They have multiple skill sets, are professional and friendly and are good communicators. Examples of work they did for us: antique door installation, deck & fence building, replacement of rotted exterior wall, attic stairs & exhaust fan installation, drywall, and building a Murphy bed!
