I highly recommend MM Roofing. They did an excellent job on my house. The entire process with my insurance was very convoluted but these guys helped me all the way to the end to get it done! They are easy to work with, courteous, addressed all my concerns and questions. In fact, I liked them so much that when my second home needed a new roof, I hired them again!

M&M is top notch in getting the job done. They support the military, and our veterans. Plus, they do excellent work. Highly recommended.

Good customer service. I have been happy but Was surprised when we saw a water spot in one of the Bedrooms last year. I contacted Matt and he indicated the water was coming in somewhere other than the roof. He sent the crew out and they looked at it and fixed it and said it should come under warranty. But I was charged $600.00.

M&M has done several projects at our home - roofing, gutters, windows and doors. They have always done an excellent job at a very good price. They are very professional and knowledgeable, and they stand behind their work. In the rare instance where we required follow-up work, they were quick to address the issue.

They do an outstanding job dealing with insurance companies if needed. Also, unlike other companies who gave us quotes, there is no high pressure or attempts to sell products that you don't need.

I highly recommend them. Besides being excellent at their jobs, Matt and Melody are local residents and are very supportive of the Haymarket community.

Our 2,000 Sq Ft single family house roof was done by M & M Roofing & Exteriors. They handled everything for us, inspections and insurance claims. The job was done within one day and we got our new and nice roof.

M&M knows what they're doing and took on a project that had already been turned down by our insurance company. It turns out the insurance adjuster was just trying to keep insurance from covering what they should have covered. Once M&M took over, I only had to deal with the insurance company when they stopped responding completely.

Bottom line, if you think you have damage, have M&M look at it first instead of an insurance adjuster. They are looking out for you as the homeowner, not the bottom line of the insurance company.

I couldn't recommend M&M more if you need work done on your roof. I fully expect they're as great with the rest of the exterior house, too.

We hired this company to resolve some roof leak/water damage issues on our (first) house. We hired them based on the positive reviews, decent quotes, and professional presentation during the quote process. Once we signed the contract, however, there was a total flip in the approach. I guess they figured we signed the contract so they could drop the customer service act. We worked mainly with Matt, who could use some practice on how to speak to people in general and particularly customers paying him thousands of dollars. He is extremely rude. He also damaged my siding when repairing my interior wall, and took it upon himself to climb up onto my roof and saw off a piece of siding from up there and swap it out with the damaged piece. He DID NOT clear this with me, did not offer any compensation for damaging my home, and was not even going to tell me. I came outside and asked him about the siding he was holding and he said “it won’t go back on” but said nothing else. When pressed further he said he had damaged it (put a hold in it when cutting out the wood inside). When I asked AGAIN what he was doing and told him I saw him on the roof that was when he finally told me what he did. Completely unprofessional. He adamantly refused to show me pictures of the sawed off siding so I could ensure it was properly sealed, and later changed his story to say the siding had “cracked” because it was “old and brittle.” We had several issues with scheduling the project, I felt like a project manager half the time because I had to follow up due to no communication form Matt, and I have no idea what the quality of the work is. I gave two stars because I’m hoping the work was done well. Customer service was zero stars. When issues were addressed with him and solutions offered, he refused. Then when I sent an angry email pointing out all of the issues and letting him know it would go in a review I got an email back (probably written by someone else) in a generic “how can we resolve this” format. I had already offered the solution (just send a picture!) and been declined. Will never work with them again.

EDIT FOLLOWING RESPONSE: It’s amazing that this review was responded to faster than any calls emails or texts we ever sent throughout the process. Below is an example of Matt’s inability to properly communicate. The “hours” he mentioned are actually a full day and a half (on a Friday so wanted to follow up before the weekend) after we sent the contract without a “received” response or anything after we had discussed getting on the schedule earlier in the week but never received the contract. My “upset” response to them finishing the job early was in fact me saying “wow that was quick after all!” in a surprised tone when he came back later to do the interior work but I suppose saying I was upset fits his narrative better. I should have been upset because they pushed out our project over a week because after looking at it twice they decided it would definitely take at least two days instead of the one we were originally told- but then finished it in less than a day anyway. I then had to follow up- again!- the next day asking where the team was because it was mid day and no one was there. No one told me they were done. No one cleaned up outside my house. No communication. Wanting to quit a job because the customer has to follow up with you says a lot about your work ethic. “Just fixing” damage is great if it doesn’t involve damaging another part of the house without consent or at least notification. Pretty basic common sense.

I was thrilled with the service from M&M. Matt walked me through every aspect of this process, answered my questions, and was available throughout the installation. I am so happy with my new roof and would recommend them to anyone who needs to make this investment.

Very pleased with the professionalism and timelines fo M&M. Matt walked us through the process of securing assistance from our insurance company, the selection of the roof, and keeping us informed of the process. The Crew did a great job on the installation and cleaned everything up afterwards. I highly recommend Matt and Melody of M&M!! Matt & Melody from M&M Exteriors came to our home after we had hail damage on our home as well as other homes in the neighborhood. They inspected our roof & advised us to contact our insurance company for an inspection. M & M came to our home on the day of the inspection and worked with our insurance company with a comprehensive report & pictures. There was no doubt we needed a new roof. M& M was extremely professional when dealing with the insurance company for us. Because of our lack of knowledge we entrusted M & M to navigate the process with us. We could not of been more satisfied with the help they provided with our claim, scheduling the roof replacement and following through with all the details. The team arrived at our home on time & covered our plants & flower beds & surrounding areas with tarps. Everyone on their team was very helpful & answered all of our questions along the way. We also had new gutters put on the house. I am grateful to Melody for pointing out the color I chose for the rain water diverter (I think it was called)was not going to match the gutters. I was very grateful to her because this would have been a costly mistake which would have been my fault & fortunately for me she was honest & forthright with me in my color decision. Thank you Melody. The team finished on time & spent a good deal of time making sure all nails, pieces of shingles & other debris were cleaned up. We were very fortunate that the roof was covered by insurance & we paid very little out of pocket. I truly believe if not for M & M’s expertise we would of had a different outcome with the process. We felt so strongly about the work M&M did that my husband & I have recommended them to many of our neighbors who have also been extremely satisfied with M&M. My husband and I have been homeowners for 46 years & we wish we could of had the same experience with all our home improvement projects! We are very satisfied & we highly recommend M & M Exteriors. We will be replacing our windows soon & we will hire M & M for the job. Thank you for a job well done!

This was an amazing experience with Matt and his team. He and his team explained every step of the process — and we were blown away by our new roof, gutters and siding!!
