At the time of installation, the company was timely and responsive. However, the siding has required multiple reattachments and is buckling all around the house. They will not return phone calls to address these issues and we do have a lifetime warranty. Time to start the certified mail process and file a claim in court. Would not recommend this company.

I cannot recommend NOVA Roofing & Siding and Naseem Abedrabo enough for their work on my roof this spring. It is incredibly stressful to have problems with your roof and after the numerous storms this spring, we needed roofing repairs, like thousands of others in northern Virginia. Naseem and his company made the process of fixing and installing a new roof go as smoothly as possible. He originally came out very quickly and tarped our roof to stop us from having any more damage and then worked with me and my insurance on our claim. He then personally kept me in the loop with the progress and ended up completing the job this weekend. The roofers themselves were very professional and kept the work site clean the whole day. The went out of their way to be out of our way. If you have had roofing issues this spring you know how hard it is to get someone to work on your roof, especially for a three-level town home. My neighbor’s roof got damaged before mine, they got their claims estimate and hired another company before I did, and their roof still sits unfinished. I am glad I went with Naseem.

My house had hail damage in Ashburn, Va. in 2015. Naseem, owner of NOVA Roofing, walked the roof of my house with the insurance adjuster and both concluded I needed a new roof. Naseem replaced all of the shingles, the portico tin roof, the flashing, all gutters and downspouts. The shingles were top of line and 50% heavier than the original, and the gutters and downspouts were all increased to a larger 6" size. The crew completed the job in two days, and the work was top-notch and A+. I am a perfectionist and I could not find anything that concerned me. I would definitely have Naseem and NOVA Roofing do my next house.

Service questions
1. Should I stay home during roof replacement?
+-

It's not necessary to stay home during roof replacement. Roofing work is noisy and can cause vibrations inside the house, which might be uncomfortable. Most homeowners choose to leave during major parts of the project, but our team ensures safety and keeps you updated, whether you're home or not.

2. How long does roof replacement take?
+-

The timeline for a roof replacement typically ranges from one to three days, depending on the size and complexity of the roof, weather conditions, and material type. Larger or more intricate roofs may take a bit longer, but we always aim for efficient, timely completion.

3. How to hire a roofing contractor?
+-

To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.

4. How to check if a roofing company is legit?
+-

Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.

5. How to choose a roofing company?
+-

When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.

6. How do you know if your roofing contractor is ripping you off?
+-

Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
