LUMAC Rooftop Bar

One of our favorite places in Bristol. Beautiful scenery, great food, nice atmosphere, best service. Excellent place to watch the sunset. Menu is fairly small, but still enough options, and everything is delicious.

Went with a group of 4. Me and a friend ordered the salmon tacos and they were old. The fish was bad. She is pregnant currently, which would could have been very bad. Half the food wasn't seasoned. My other friend ordered the burger that came with this *nasty* grey goop that was flavorless and had the same consistency as epoxy or wet clay.

I do not recommend this place to anyone.

The fish they served in the salmon was bad. My friend is pregnant, and you can kill someone with bad fish. You shouldn’t serve bad fish, period, but especially not to a pregnant woman. We ordered something else in replacement and it took another 20+ minutes for an UPDATE on the new food’s expected arrival. We ended up leaving and half our party not even getting to eat because of how long it took, and the bill was STILL $34+ for one entree and one appetizer-each. The hummus was lacking flavor with inadequate bread to dip ratio. The burger was WAY overcooked and cut in half and put on its side with the toppings next to it?? Like? Why would you serve a burger like that? The corner of the rooftop we were seated in just randomly didn’t have any lights over it so it was super dark. Our waitress was not very attentive, even after we’d had to send food back. We had to ask for a refill on waters. Just.. don’t come here. They made it look really cute and atmospheric online, but honestly it’s just over priced, bad service, and they send the food in what looks like dog bowls because it comes all the way from the downstairs kitchen. We legit got Taco Bell instead… If that doesn’t tell you how bad this place is, I don’t know what will.

The food was amazing! We had the Cobb salad, chicken sandwich (a must-have), great fries, and salmon tacos. We liked it so much we came back the next day for happy hour and tried the deviled eggs, hummus, and nachos. The server was a bit slow, and we didn’t care for the hummus, but overall it was a great experience with good drinks and a nice view.

The employees at this bar are all super friendly! And they host live music all the time. It's a good spot to go up and relax. Amazing views, nearly a full 360 of Bristol & the area. Plus, the view of the Appalachias in the distance is to die for.

My wife and I and our one month old newborn went to the Rooftop for a bite to eat outside on a Monday at 4:30. We were Immediately kicked out because Our sleeping newborn is under 21. I have been going here for many years And I’ve enjoyed it except for today. I spoke to Sam, the manager of the restaurant, he was very apologetic and polite. We left with our tails between our legs, feeling embarrassed.

Great place to hang out with friends. They have a small menu which is curated very well. The food and drinks both are excellent here. Probably is one of the pricier cocktail menus in the tri-cities, but they do it well. Also able to enjoy the view of the mountain backdrop from the outdoor seating area.

Not really my scene. Gets pretty hot in the summer when the sun is out. Not a lot of outdoor shade.

The view was great. Live music was good. Service was ok. Food was terrible. The trout dip was decent but very small portion for the amount. Pizza was not good at all. No flavor. Extremely bland. Wasn’t ever asked how the food was. My wife and I took one slice and didn’t even finish our slices. Left the whole pizza there. Our server was nice but she was taking care of many tables. No free refills on soda. Asked for a refill and was charged for 2 drinks.

Atmosphere is completely different than it was originally. According to our waiter, it was remodeled a few months ago. It’s all long tables with 6-8 chairs each, inside and out, bar looks cheaply done now, no comfy, cozy seating like it was when it first opened. We were not impressed.

Delicious! Reasonably priced. I got the deviled eggs and salmon tacos, and my wife got the Cobb salad. They had live music outside. The band, From the Edge, was excellent. The also make awesome non alcoholic drinks if you are into that.

The food is ok, but the menu is fairly limited and the food is VERY overpriced. We’ve eaten here twice and both times we were lucky enough to have Carlie as our server. She is superb and provides some of the best service we’ve ever had…anywhere. Love the live entertainment with Mark Larkins and I don’t know of anywhere that has the views and atmosphere offered here.

Really great views and a super nice atmosphere for summer evening drinks. Live music is usually local artists, what you would expect. Cover singers. The food is strange though and the menu is limited and small. You cannot get the whole menu that is available at the restaurant downstairs. Every time I have been we have either had to wait forever for a server to even take our orders or have had to go to the bar ourselves to get drinks and refills due to the waitress taking forever to get to us. The table beside of us one night had a different waitress who seemed to be very attentive to them. Maybe we have just been unlucky with who's section we were seated in. Oh and if it's peak hours or weekend times, parking is very scarce on the road. Plan on dropping elderly or handicapped people off at the door and parking across the street and potentially walking a good distance to get to the hotel entrance. Still a really nice place to go though and we go back often. To end on a positive note- they have amazing mixed drinks!!! The bartenders are really good and the drink menu has lots to choose from- new, exotic drinks along with all the classics! Try the blue ridge drink- it is SO good.

A cozy little bar on the inside and what a view of Bristol on the outside. You just have to see for yourself!

Nice place. Came on 10/24 bartender was sloooow. She was too busy talking with a guy at end of bar and other girls to notice we ( only 2 people at bar) were empty.
Hate see if place was busy.
Hint....when someone's glass is empty ask them if they want another drink , don't make them ask you.

Old fashioned and a flourless chocolate torte! Both were excellent . One of the best of each I’ve had , including making them at home ! Great atmosphere on Saturday night.

Highest and highest class view of downtown Bristol. They support the local musicians. Keep an eye on Bristol Hotels FB to be notified of upcoming events.

Most beautiful view from up-top in the area! Great custom cocktails. Quality food. There is a bar and table service, now.

FINALLY!!! A gorgeous rooftop bar with great menu options and atmosphere, best of all... NO KIDS ALLOWED! It was so nice and relaxing to be able to enjoy a cocktail with my honey and not see or hear crying babies or toddlers, we've noticed a lot of "bars" in the Tri-Cities allow under 21 and that is so undesirable. The staff ladies were all adorable and VERY attentive. We had cocktails before heading downstairs to Vivian's Table for dinner, then came back for a night cap and live music after dinner! We will be back for sure!

I absolutely love Lumac. The outdoor seating is amazing and the views are spectacular. The sunset is beautiful from up there. The staff is the best I've ever met. They are kind and helpful and funny and really know their stuff. They went above and beyond to help my mom find something she could eat during an anniversary trip. They keep their customers safe and happy and I can't recommend Lumac enough. The staff is what makes it worth coming back to again and again.

Beautiful view of both Bristol's from the rooftop. It's really pretty when it gets dark because everything gets lit up. It's so pretty it's like a Christmas tree with all its decorations.

Stumbled upon this place later at night during a visit to Bristol. This is a wonderful place to sit outside and enjoy a drink!

My wife and I had our wedding on the rooftop and were so thoroughly impressed by the setting and the staff. The panoramic mountain views and the thoughtful and friendly bartenders make the LUMAC rooftop a must for anyone in the area.

Brayden (sorry if spelled wrong!) did a great job for my Mom's birthday party! He was very attentive and quick to get everything we needed. The whole crew who helped bring the party together were very appreciated and did a great job! I would definitely recommend having a semi-private event here.

Let me tell you - I had the most amazing time here tonight! All the people behind the bar were awesome! Braydon, Rain, Kelsey and Ashlynn. Braydon was friendly and accommodating from my first glass of wine. Everyone else got to know me through the night and made my experience so wonderful! I can’t wait to come back and see everyone! I drive from Florida to our house in Elk Park NC but spent the weekend at Bristol Hotel - wish I had gone up to the rooftop last night because the staff made my night! We should be up sometime in April- can’t wait to stop and see everyone agai!

Beautiful roof top bar with a nice selection of spirits and cocktails or grab a bite to eat. Great view of the city of Bristol!

Drinks and views are great! A bit pricey, my drink was $13 and husband’s beer was about $10 for a normal draft beer which is a bit much.. Great atmosphere, though! Will definitely be back with friends who come to visit.

Today was mine and my husband's anniversary. So since we haven't eaten at the rooftop we decided that we would go. We was not greeted when we entered so had no idea what to do. Finally a bartender helped us and I said we was there to eat so do we just sit anywhere. She said you can order here (at the bartop) we wanted to sit outside. So we ordered a drink (coke) and the meat and cheese board. Went outside. besides the app being delivered no one checked on us. The come didn't even taste good. We didn't eat the app it was honestly the worst thing I've ever tried to eat. So we decided instead of chancing the actual meal we was going somewhere else. My husband also saved a bird that was trapped in between the glass and concrete wall overlook. We go to check out 97% of the app was uneaten. Our check was $34.00 We was not asked how was everything absolutely no communication at all. I will not be returning. The staff was sitting down on their phones, rude and apparently just don't care and the food is way over priced and not editable. I guess drinks and the view is the only good thing they have going for them.

Really need to make clear the age restrictions on website. Drove in with my 19 year old from Knoxville for a family event and was told she had to leave when they carded her for a water. We made sure to look in advance for age restrictions and found nothing that stated that.

Have some of the best views of Bristol Tn/Va... Nice Staff, Awesome food. I recommend Thursday Night most time a live band is present.

Great service but the food is terrible. They’re more concerned with presentation than the actual taste of the food. I ordered a well done burger and she was still mooing, gf got the turkey Ruben, it sucked and the deviled eggs tasted like straight horse radish. A nice place for cocktails but not food. The fries were the only thing that was decent.

The service was great and views amazing. We all got the Bleu cheese burger which looked awesome but very lacking in taste.

I went to celebrate my birthday at the Lumac Rooftop Bar because of the reviews of how amazing the view is from up here. It was a beautiful day and the scenery was awesome but the service was lacking and you have to wait on yourself. I'm glad we didn't order food because I can't imagine how long that would take and how you would get it? I guess you would have to go to the kitchen and pick it up yourself? However the place is a really nice upscale well decorated atmosphere/location and a great way to spend your afternoon!

Very inviting! Not a lot of inside space but the views outside are beautiful. The bar tender Milly is a gem!

Friends and I stop here for starting off a cocktail night. Their special drinks are very good! The spiced orange gin and tonic especially. Food is also amazing bit fancier than my normal kind of hangout but nice for a classier evening also cool views!

The outside view of Bristol is great as well as the atmosphere. Staff are great. At any time you may see local people or guests staying at the hotel.

Ordered spring roll appetizer. $9 I believe it was. Literally just 2 normal size average everyday spring rolls. They give 3 different sauces for them. You could probably have at least 6 spring rolls with the amount of sauce they give you. How much do two spring rolls cost? Then charge $9?!? Give me a break. Then got seared sea scallops. $23 or $26 I think. 3 decent size scallops. Nothing special. Over a little bit of Risotto and a sauce that tastes EXACTLY like the gravy you would put on pot roast and mashed potatoes. The view and nice setting do not make up for the little tiny portions of average food they give you. On top of all that, it was not all that busy. When we first arrived they asked if had reservations. There were plenty of open tables. Waiters and waitresses were scrambling around like it was new years Eve. I heard "sorry that took so long" many times that night. With the gross profit they're making from the cheap food they give you, you'd think they'd be able to have enough employees on the payroll to get everyone's orders out on time. Our waitress was nice. Only reason I gave two stars.

This place has great ambience and view, but the food and service were less than impressive.
It took 15-20 minutes to get our drink order taken and another 10 for waters to arrive. The server rarely checked in and took a while after we'd finished eating to ask if we needed boxes and checks.
The ahi Tuna sandwich was good but nothing special, the wings were barely flavorful, and the meatloaf sandwich was a deconstructed meatBALL sandwich with ONE medium sized meatball, baguette halves and everything was covered in marinara. The meatball itself was overly smoky and cheesy.
The caprese appetizer was the best thing we had.
Would come back for the view and drinks.
