I had a roof repair that other roofers refused to take on. Prior to completing the repairs Scott and Brody showed me why the problem was occurring and explained the solution. Once they executed the repair they cleaned up the area so that it looked as if there was never a problem. I appreciated their courtesy and professionalism and would recommend them in the future.

It’s been a great experience from beginning to end. Starting with Tony’s first visit through the work being completed, wonderful and easy to work with!

Our project was sealing up gable vents. Scott and Brody did a fine job. They explained what they were going to do, and completed it in a timely fashion. I would use L&S again!

My mom had a small job to replace some siding on her condo. The sales representative and the work crew were courteous and helpful. The finished product was done properly and with great care. I would highly recommend L & S home improvements.

Really happy with our roof tune-up and gutter replacement. Pricing was fair and service was great. There were no pushy sales tactics to upgrade to more than we needed, and even though we didn’t have the biggest job I still felt like they cared above and just taking our money. Will definitely use them when we need our roof replaced in the future.

I seldom write reviews, but having a new roof put on is expensive no matter who you choose and some? Some companies charge much more than others! We had two different companies make their proposals to us. We went with L&S Home Improvements (found via Angie's List). The first company wanted $33,000!!! and did a lot of "showcasing numbers"! We both got the feeling those two guys representing this company were just what one would expect from a "salesperson" - a lotta fluff, puff with questionable substance. Tony Combs, was our salesman and both my wife and I found an intuitive sense of integrity in what Tony told us. I am very happy to write this review to state that not only was his price just under $20,000, but MOST IMPORTANTLY, the company did EXACTLY what Tony said it would do! Tony checked in with us through all phases of the install (took 2 days) and followed up after. Whether you talk to the office personnel or Tony himself, if your experience is anything like ours, you will be VERY PLEASED!

When I submitted my request to Angi, L&S responded immediately. We set up an appointment with Matt. He was prompt and very professional. He explained in detail the problem I had with my existing roof. When his team arrived they were very professional. My new roof is beautiful. When they finished they cleaned up my yard beautifully. We are extremely happy with L&S for our new gutters. Especially the help of Tony- who was personable, responsive, available, and extremely knowledgeable. They go above and beyond the legal requirements which is a MUST for Michigan winters. Our previous gutters basically lost the war against the ice and snow of winter. When I felt the difference of the material used previously and what L&S used it wasn't even comparable. L&S uses material that are custom made, strong and durable. They stand by their work and their products and I feel much more comfortable about going into the winter season. They were also very easy to communicate with and schedule- not to mention CLEAN. When we had previous work by another company we found nails in our yard (with toddlers) for two years. After L&S left- I didn't see a single piece of remnants of any work. Outside of the amazing new gutters- you would have never know they were there. THANK YOU TONY! If we ever need work- we will be reaching out.

Recently L&S Home Improvements installed a new roof for me. Ryan Moulding, Sales Rep., came to my home to give me a free estimate and explained step by step what he had to offer. He showed me samples of all the materials used on the roof and there was a wide variety of shingle colors from which to choose. Ryan answered all of the questions I had. He also explained what their crew would do when arriving to do the work. The crew arrived on time and I was told what they were going to do. My landscaping was covered plus other areas and then they proceeded to do the roof. Once finished, they cleaned up everything, and before leaving, I was asked if I had any questions. I am thoroughly satisfied with L&S, and definitely would recommend this company. I do not recommend any company that I would not use myself.

We recently replaced our roof and our gutters. The salesman who came out was very professional and super helpful in explaining all the different options and what they meant. He was extremely kind and understanding especially when dealing with the interruptions from our two youngsters! When the actual work was completed, it was done quickly and all the men were professional. They did a fantastic job cleaning up the yard after which was something we were worried about because of our dog and children. There was no reason to worry at all!

Great experience from beginning to end. After waking up to a leaking ceiling, I called this company. They came out promptly and sealed the leak until they could do a total tear off and replace my roof. They were quick and efficient . They reassured me of any concern I had. The price was extremely fair. They were very professional. Can’t say enough good things about this company. I definitely recommend them.

Came out earlier than expected. When I came home and noticed a couple down spouts weren't directed the way I would prefer I called and they sent a man out within an hour. He redirected them exactly the way I wanted them. No arguments or hassle just good quick service.

I recently used L&S for a roof replacement that was being covered by my insurance. L&S did all the hard work to get my insurance company agreed on cost as well as getting them to process everything quickly. I had never filed a home insurance claim and L&S made this process super easy and made sure I got a quality replacement from the insurance. When it came time for the actual roof to be installed, L&S completed everything in one day and the end product looked great. They also did a great job cleaning up after the job, no nails or trash was left anywhere. I would recommend this company.

I contracted with L&S Home Improvements to fix a roof leak and was very impressed with their professionalism and quality of work. I would definitely recommend them.

My 91 year old father needed to have his 20+ year old roof replaced. It was long overdue. My wife (Commercial property manager) stepped in to handle the selection/bidding process on his behalf. She got bids from four companies. Tony Combs from L&S Home Improvement was the first to respond (almost immediately after she requested a quote) and L&S had the best pricing and offered a superior product than their competitors. Tony Combs explained every detail of the process to ensure my Dad completely understood what he was paying for. For the record, the house was purchased in 1959 for $23,000 and it was shocking to him to comprehend what building materials and labor was going to cost in 2024 dollars. His concerns were addressed and his questions were answered completely by Tony who was BEYOND terrific in his patience and care. The materials were delivered on schedule without issue. The crew arrived early on install day and carefully placed tarps around the house to catch debris. The existing shingles were removed and the new roof was completely installed in ONE day. The crew ,workmanship and cleanup was also excellent. L&S offers the ability to finance your home improvement project, if that’s desired, through a couple different lenders. A new roof is expensive. Choosing the right company that does a great job and stands behind their product will give a homeowner the satisfaction and peace of mind for many, many years. L&S should be your first call when you need a new roof or a siding upgrade.

We researched and talked with several companies at the April 2024 Novi Home and Garden Show. L&S was the only company we made an appointment with for an inspection. We were convinced we wouldn’t go under contract right away in order to meet with other companies and were upfront with Ryan about this when he arrived. We were wrong. We were very impressed with his thoroughness, his patience and answers to our questions, his presentation, and last but not least, the price and value for the price. We are so glad that made the plunge. Both Ryan and the office were communicative and responsive throughout the process. And the crews, both roofing and gutters, were amazing. he was very friendly and even though we only needed gutters for our small ranch house, he was happy to come out and suggest what was best for our house. He went over color selection, size of gutter that was best for our roof line & downspout location.

Here at 8am cleaned up and gone by 1:30pm. Fast and efficient. The roof looks great. Everyone I spoke with was professional and courteous. They even asked if I'd like the old tv antenna removed while they were up there, I appreciate them for going above and beyond and removing it for me.

Excellent job, completed in 7hrs ,did not need the free insulation, so they gave us free gutters, price was in the ballpark with other quotes. Would highly recommend to anyone in need of a new roof.

We knew we chose the right company when I saw them laying out plywood and a tarp to protect our hot tub during our roof installation. Afterwards they ran a magnet through the grass to find any other nails and raked up any debris. We had gutters installed as well and I couldn't believe how quick and quiet the crew were.

There's definitely cheaper roofing companies out there, but if you want to know you're home is protected for the long run, this is the team to hire. They offer a 25 year guarantee too to have someone come out if there are any concerns at all.

Review has been a long time coming. L&S replaced my roof back in November 2022. I priced out various companies and L&S fell in the middle. Matthew came out originally and was friendly, informative, honest, and answered all our questions/concerns. Crew was on time and worked efficiently. They ran out of daylight and had to come back for a short period of time the next day to finish up which was no issue.

Matt came out after the job was complete to walk the roof to ensure quality. There were a couple small things missed and a bathroom vent that was supposed to be installed but was not. Matt coordinated for someone to come back out and patch up the small fixes and add the vent. That all went well.

Only real feedback I had for Matt was the nails I found in the corner of my gutters after that first night. Maybe they would have cleaned it all up officially the next day but I couldn’t help but go up and look at everything that night. He said he’d pass on the feedback and that was perfect for me.

I walked around the yard and found some stray nails but that’s to be expected in my opinion.

Great and friendly company. Great communication. Family owned if I remember right. Roof has performed well here now a year and a half later. Would recommend giving them your business!

This was the most wonderful experience I have had. I had tried to get estimates from 2 local contractors and they kept me hanging for several weeks and then stoped returning my calls. That was not my experience with L & S. Tony came out and I had an estimate the day he was there. My project was done in the time promised and completely to my satisfaction. The workmanship was fabulous. Tony made the process so easy, He kept me informed, via text and answered my calls the same day!!! Would use them again and I have already recommend them to others.

When it come’s to Roofing and the Clean up at the end, which is most of the consumers worries, L & S does not miss a nail. I would recommend this company to anyone. Beginning with the day I called for an estimate to have siding installed this company's communication was top notch! Once we signed the contract, I received a welcome to the family call, the next steps in the process and when the installation should start. Upon completion, one of the owners came out and did a detailed inspection of the job, made sure that we were 100% happy and told me that should a problem arise to not hesitate and give them a call.
The workers showed up early, were very respectful of our property, cleaned up afterwards and were great to talk to whenever I had a question. Workmanship was also top notch with attention to detail.
This company is the real deal. They may not be the cheapest price you will find but there is truth to the saying "you get what you pay for". No corners were cut and everything that was stated before the job was delivered. I wish I would have called them when we had a roof put on last year. We paid top dollar for the job and workmanship, communication before and after was not even in the same ballpark as L&S Home Improvement. I highly recommend this company!

Quick response when I first called for a quote. Quick to respond to any questions I had. The crew that worked on my roof were friendly and did a great job and completed the job quickly. They even did an awesome job cleaning up afterwards.

I just completed my third project with L & S, this time it was a complete roof replacement at my mom’s house. Once again the experience was excellent. This company is professional, all of the employees I came in contact with were friendly and helpful. Communication is unmatched. Quality is an obvious priority. Vaughn came out to my house early but on time and quoted me on gutters. Although I was able to get a cheaper quote somewhere else, I could not turn down the better warranty, customer service, or helpful tips and information Vaugh was able to give me. Being on time was a huge bonus :) I chose a cranberry color for my gutters due to Vaughn's amazing input. Seeing them on my house, I wouldn't pick any other color. Came home today on a rainy day and was so thrilled to see gutters that don't leak and water going where I want it to after removing two downspouts. The super sweet lady who calls and collects payment is a gem! so friendly and helpful as well! This business really goes the extra mile to make their customers happy before and after installation! I was not home for the installation but they completed the job way faster than I thought they would! Props to their hard working installers :) How can you say no to that! I am more than happy to have a yard sign for 60 days because they deserve all the referrals and business we can give them. If it was in my budget I would have had my whole house siding redone too. Cant wait to do business with L&S again :) Thank you!!

I just met with Matthew Castiglione. I was interested in a quote for new siding. Matt was wonderful! I love this company and wanted no one else. I won't be buying new siding at this time. I only wanted a quote and he was okay with that. Matt's a good family man and he was very sweet to my dog :) I hope in the future I'm able to do more business with them!
