Lighthouse Construction is an amazing company! The owner, Joe, and his son Blake take pride in what they do. They go above and beyond to make sure the job is done right the first time.
We've had to use their service twice over the past few years and both times they made dealing with the insurance companies completely stress free. They are on top of everything from returning your calls promptly, answering all your questions, and explaining everything step by step, start to finish.
Both experiences we've had with them have been completely stress free and the workmanship has been fantastic.
The two employees who worked on our recent project, Josh and Tim, were wonderful to work with. They were both professional, kind, and very hard workers. They kept me informed on their progress and were quick to answer any questions or concerns I had.

Joe and his entire team were the BEST! Joe communicated with me almost daily to update me on the projects with a lot of pictures to show progress. He would offer many suggestions on decor and paid a lot of attention to detail. I will 100% be using him for future projects as they are needed along with recommending him and his team to others in the area.

Joe and his teams exceeded my expectations. We had a large project rehabilitating a large vintage barn. Not only did Lighthouse Construction do a fabulous job with the construction, they made great suggestions on how to approach things. Joe also personally checked the progress daily. We could not be happier.

Joe came out to quote us on doors/frame and trim. It was a little pricey (18,650 for 9 doors) We have dealt with bad contractors before so we thought you pay for what you get. We'll We got screwed! He said the job could be done in 2 to 3 days. We live a very busy life with kids dogs and dialysis so I thought the time frame was great! Well it took his guys 5 days....whatever something we had to deal with. Called to complain the first day about the quality of work and he tried brushing it off saying they would fix it. It only got worse from there! They left paint all over my brand new hardwood floors scratched my stairs railings and messed up 3 out of the 9 doors just bringing them in. His "guys" spent more time on my front porch smoking then they probably did in the house. He had nothing but an attitude when we let him know our concerns. Before the job was done he dropped off a waiver of lien! Then after they were "done" my husband sent pictures of the mess ups and he must of called one of his workers.....well to my suprise I walk up stairs and this man LET HIMSELF IN MY HOME NO WARNING. I can go on and on about this company but I feel like this will do. Don't let the 4.3 stars fool you! Skinny Jean wearing Joe should stick to being a chef and leave the contracting to someone who actually cares.

Working with Joe on every step from design, options and through renovating a garage into a 2 BR apartment went great. Highly recommend.

Professional and quality work from an oak tree making two holes in our living room roof- tray ceiling, drywall damage, broken window, and dented garage door.

I contacted lighthouse construction for an estimate on deck repairs at my residence. Joe, the owner of the company, evaluated the condition of the deck and provided an estimate of the repairs needed. I agreed and authorized the repairs. The result was outstanding. I am very happy that I chose Lighthouse construction. Joe and his repair crew delivered an excellent top quality repair.

I was impressed from the moment they came to assess the damage caused by ice damning. The owner Joe is no nonsense and very knowledgeable. He made me feel instantly at ease and confident I made right decision to hire them. The crew shows up on time and uses every bit of their time on your job to get things done. And the owner shows up on-site quite often to update you on the progress and the upcoming projects. They are a one stop shop company as well. What a great feeling to know that they will handle things from start to finish. I highly recommend their services.

Lighthouse provides timely quality work. We had several mirrors that other contractors would not touch, taken down along with subsequent wall repair done by this contractor. The owner is professional and was continually stopping by to check the progress of the job.

Lighthouse Construction torn down, replaced, and painted my outside cedar siding. Joe, the owner, kept me informed along the way on everything! He was on site every day checking the progress. The crew did a fantastic job and they cleaned the area before they left each day.

Back in July of 2020, myself, a single mother and a first time buyer, was in the market of purchasing a sell by owner home in Valparaiso, IN. I had Lighthouse Construction inspect the home before starting to negotiate the price with the owner. The concerns that Lighthouse Construction and Restoration INC. pointed out to me while inspecting the house help me save up to $40K on this purchase. The seller ended up dropping 20k of the initial asking price. He ended up fixing a tremendous amount if issues i had no idea even existed. The home owner also replaced the roof and provided me with a 4k cashiers check at closing and plaid the closing costs. 2020 might have been difficult, but Lighthouse Construction has been a BLESSING for me. I Thank you for the bottom of my heart! I am a proud home owner and i have a future investment in this house..
