Big shout out to Casey and his crew at Lifetime Roofing. They did an amazing job on my new roof install, new rain gutters and downspouts. Casey and his crew even helped me with some additional soffit and fascia work. They were courteous, respectful of my landscaping, and easy to work with.

Do not waste your time calling, it took a long time for them to call back and try to schedule an appointment for a quote. Once they called they were going to charge me for coming out to get a quote. If I’m looking for a full roof replacement I don’t wanna be nickel and dimed hundreds of dollars just for a quote.

Casey helped me through the process of replacing my roof. He was warm and thoughtful in answering my questions and moving through the process of financing to the installation of the roof. Great team that provided quality work!

I own a cabin in Bear Lake.I hired Lifetime to install a New metal roof. Roof looks great and I liked the metal for the snow.
Fast forward.2023
Biggest winter in Bear lake in quite some time. Multiple pieces of the roof have blown off. I have taken pictures called and emailed Lifetime to see if they could come replace and repair. Not asking for warranty here...Happy to pay. No return calls and when I call and ask to speak to someone its always we will call you back.Ill give them a few days here but looks like I may need to move on. Factor this into any new roof decision.

Casey showed up to look at what I thought would be a small and simple repair. He had the extra shingles on his truck and was able to knock out the repairs I needed the same day. Very happy with Lifetime and how quick they either call me back or get the job done.

I used Lifetime Roofing-North Salt Lake in April 2023 for a new roof installation. The process from bid proposal through installation to final inspection went smoothly. Edgar was the person I worked with on the project from beginning to end and I was happy with his level of communication throughout the project.
The work was completed in a timely manner, just eight calendar days from decision to proceed to the roofing job being performed. The clean up during and after the project was very good. Lifetime Roofing has performed multiple roofing jobs in our neighborhood over the last several years. Part of my purchase decision was based on the positive experience of those that had used Lifetime for their roofs. I now add my positive experience.

Lifetime Roofing helped me with my ice damns on my roof. We had a lot of snow this. The crew was very professional friendly and helpful. I will use Lifetime for other roofing issues.

I scheduled a meeting at my commercial building for a roof replacement bid. 5 days later Edgar wanted to reschedule because it might snow, it did not. By the time we met there was 6" of snow on the roof. It was a Friday and I was told I would have a bid by Tuesday. That was 3 Tuesdays ago. He will not answer calls or texts and I have not heard a word. Worst company ever and this guy Edgar has no integrity what so ever. Would give 0 stars if able.

Update
After Edgar refused my last call, I told the receptionist I would be leaving this review. 40 min. later I got a call from one of the owners. I agreed to have another guy, Casey, come out to put together a bid. He, unlike his predecessor, was great. Came Friday, had the bid Monday. Unfortunately, the bid was much higher than another. I'm updating stars to 3.

While Lifetime did a great job on my roof back in 2017, they did not inspect or replace the cap/flashing on the top of my faux chimney. The top cap/flashing needed to be replaced and is now leaking, damaging the chimney stucco. Lifetime denies any culpability or responsibility, rather insisting that it is the owner's duty to inspect the faux chimney cap. So...please be aware and request inspection of your chimney cap when getting a new roof. I would have appreciated being advised at the time that my chimney cap should be replaced as well.

Casey at Lifetime Roofing is awesome!! We had our roof replaced just over 5 years ago, but with all the snow we are getting we found a leak next to the chimney. Casey came out and found the problem immediately and will have it fixed ASAP! I would recommend Casey and Lifetime Roofing to anyone!!

Lifetime Roofing installed a replacement roof for us in South Ogden. Doug Nelson was the project manager and did a fantastic job. He was personally on site during all steps of the process from estimating, through crew setup and through installation and completion. Lifetime’s quote for the job was fair and competitive with other quotes we received. The roofing materials used are of extremely good quality and Lifetime’s attention to detail and workmanship is top notch. We are very happy with the finished product.

I live in Bluffdale deep in the heart of the Bluffdale breeze and I had a piece of flashing fly off during a recent storm. It would've been hard to repair because it was at the top of the gable. I recently had surgery and the wife said no to me getting up there to fix it. A friend that works in the insurance business recommended Edgar from Lifetime Roofing saying he was the best. Let me be another person to yes he is the best! He responded to my call, said what time he was going to be here and arrived at that time. He was super friendly and got to work right away. I called Lifetime the evening of August 12th and spoke with an after hours rep to schedule an appt for a roof inspection. A gentleman (John) called me this morning and we were able to schedule for today at 4:00pm. At 4:10, after he had not arrived, I called his cell, he answered an hung up, then I called Lifetime to confirm the date and time. John finally called me back and said he came at 4:00, but he went to my neighbors home, after they didn't answer the door he left. He didn't bother to call me to confirm he was at the correct address. He made it seem like it would be putting him out if he were to come back out today, and he said he was booked tomorrow. First impressions are usually a great insight into what kind of company you are working with. I won't be using Lifetime.

Edgar was great! We originally replaced the roof due to damage from the Farmington wind storm in 2020. The replacement was completed quickly and competently (one day for removal & one day for install). I am very happy with the work that was completed.

Recently I had a siding installer tell me that I had a leak due to the roof flashing and the need for a diverter. I called Edgar and he showed up the next day ready to fix any issues. After pulling off some of the shingles he was able to determine that there were no roof issues, and was able to point out exactly what the problem was (a siding issue). I was impressed he was able to come out so quickly to fix a problem 2 years after the initial install, and didn't charge anything for his time. If you want an installer that will continue to show up AFTER getting paid if you have any concerns, then these are the guys for you.

Lifetime roofing did an awesome job on my roof replacement, we are so happy and love the finished result. Brett Clyde was my project manager. He was easy to talk to and left out the sugar coated B.S. the other roofing companies used. From the very start he was honest and never tried any pushy sales tactics. He suggested a ridge vent upgrade and explained how it would be helpful for cooling, we look forward to the benefits of it in the summer. He was upfront about the chance that there could be some errant nails and explained how they would do their best to clean them up.

My wife and I both work night shift and Brett was very considerate throughout the process with our schedules and made an effort see that the install date didn't interfere with them. He also worked with us delaying the roof install until we could get a skylight ordered and installed.

On the morning of the install Luis and a small army of guys showed up and wasted no time getting to work. They made quick work of it and had the old roof stripped down in about an hour. There are houses across the street that are being built and they starting roofing one the same day as mine. Luis and his crew schooled the other roofers had my roof done in 1/2 a day, going home while the crew across the street had just starting to put down shingles.

All of the roofers were polite and did their best to limit the impacts of their work. I had an Amazon delivery show up while they were stripping the roof down and had the front steps covered with debris. One of the roofers came down and helped facilitate the delivery. They did a great job cleaning up. They used magnets to clean up the nails and a leaf blower to sweep up. They left my yard cleaner than they found it.

From start to finish the whole process was super easy. Lifetime roofing was easy to deal with and I would recommend them to anyone looking for roofing services. They are a breath of fresh air in a world where so many shoddy businesses are out to rip people off.

I did my homework and learned that Malarkey asphalt shingles hands-down beat Owens-Corning, GAF, and Certainteed. Malarkey asphalt shingles even fight air pollution with embedded 3M Company, smog-eating, catalytic converter-like, embedded granules, which benefit the environment by reducing outside air pollution from vehicle emissions. Malarkey has a lifetime transferable warranty for roofs when installed by one of an elite few Malarkey-certified contractors, like Lifetime Roofing. They worked with my home insurer to maximize my deserved reimbursement for roof replacement after severe storm damage, they took care of my local Park City, Utah, building permit and building department inspections, and they completed the job quickly, and professionally. There's more to a new roof than just shingles, like the right ridge vents, the right decking, and right ice and water shield, especially in Park City winter climate. Lifetime Roofing does it all professionally, and at extremely competitive pricing, and with superior products from Malarkey and their strategic partners, like 3M.

Destin did an incredible job on our roof. He was timely and easy to work with. He fit our project in and was reasonably priced. I highly recommend lifetime roofing. As a contractor, you strongly value an honest hard working company.

I am currently serving on the HOA Board at the Ridgewood Condos (Maple HIlls) in Bountiful and we had to replace roofs of over half of the units due to a wind storm back in September. We discovered Lifetime Roofing and we are extremely pleased that we did. Edgar Arellano was very helpful and informative during this huge project and all throughout the process. They were very organized on the removal of the old shingles and replacement of the new. I personally had new skylights installed on my unit as well, due to the advise and inspection of the old ones which were soon to have issues. I can't say enough good about Edgar and his crew. I would highly recommend. Very professional, knowledgeable and responsive.

I had a long journey to choose my roofing contractor. Here's why I went with Edgar and Lifetime Roofing.

* Price - I got a bunch of roofing quotes for different brands, materials, etc., and while Lifetime Roofing wasn't the cheapest *overall*, the price they quoted me was a steal for the high-quality materials that they used. Their price was the lowest of any company for the exact materials.

* Responsiveness & knowledge - I had a ton of questions before I signed on the dotted line, and Edgar was with me during every step of the process with a professional attitude. I was into ridge vents, and he saved me money by pointing out that while there were two ridges on my roof that would benefit from them, the dormer on my garage is framed-in and a ridge vent would make no sense. Other companies were perfectly happy to let me make that mistake and let me believe that I was improving air circulation.

After doing a lot of my own research and talking to a few companies, I had at least a beginners grasp of some of the minutiae of roofing (nails, products, flashing, etc). Edgar patiently answered every single one of my questions, detailed or general. He never once dismissed me or misinterpreted my questions as an attack on his workmanship.

I also liked that Edgar was able to show me past roofs that Lifetime had worked on. We were able to see one with the exact same brand/color of shingle, which really pushed us over the edge on our decision. I think it shows the relationship that they've built up with their previous customers that they have a ready "portfolio" of work.

* Quality - The day of the roof replacement, the crew showed up early and worked diligently to get it done that day. They worked quickly, but thoroughly. When they left, I didn't find any nails lying on the ground, only a couple of underlayment scraps that had been blown by the wind.

When the job was done, Edgar returned to do an inspection of the roof, and also took a couple of beautiful drone shots that I've included in this review.

* Malarkey brand - While searching for a roofing contractor, I came across many brands for roofing materials. I learned through online forums and talking to various people that Malarkey is one of the best brands in the business. I kept hearing "Malarkey isn't malarkey", though some cautioned me that a brand's regional sales rep can make a make a big difference. For example, I learned that Certainteed's rep is very responsive because they have some big contracts in Utah that they want to make sure they maintain. I think Malarkey didn't focus as much on Utah in the past, but that may have changed recently because their rep was very helpful with my questions about their roofs.

There's a few things that I like about Malarkey. They invented the rubberized SBS shingle. Previously I was considering the Certainteed Northgate, which is also a rubberized shingle, and is also an extremely solid product. But it's worth noting that other manufacturers typically use Malarkey as a benchmark for SBS shingles. I've also completely bought into their marketing hype around smog-reducing granules. I think it's really cool that their roofs take some co2 out of the air...it's not much, but we need less of it on our planet and in our lungs during nasty inversions.

So how does Malarkey tie into Lifetime Roofing? Well Lifetime prefers to install Malarkey shingles, and Lifetime is one out of 4 contractors in Utah that Malarkey considers "Emerald Premium". You may roll your eyes, but that means that Malarkey trusts Lifetime enough to warranty not only the *materials* but also the *workmanship* of Lifetime Roofing, which is rare in the roofing industry (you do have to pay extra for that specific warranty, and we chose not to, but I think that says a lot in an industry where the manufacturers and installers often point fingers at each other).

* Summary - The new roof looks beautiful. It has been about a month, and even with monsoon rains and high winds I haven't noticed any issues. I would recommend Lifetime Roofing to anyone considering a new roof.

John was awesome. Helped us get our leaking roof taken care of and had the best price. Showed up himself to check on the project which is always nice.

These guys came in an quickly and efficiently removed the old roof on my garage and replaced it with a new roof in all in one day. They also cleaned up after the job nicely. I would recommend them to my family and friends. I will use them again when I need a new roof. Thank you for hard work.

I can't say enough about my pleasure of working with this company. Steve Hinton, sales rep., was prompt and professional in all my dealings with him. The work performed is completed and done with great care efficiently. I recommend them without reservation.

Darin was absolutely amazing he was very responsive to all our questions. He was here from day one. From our initial estimate to the day it was finished. He answered every phone call or had us called back within an hour. The foreman Alexander was very on task they originally told us it would be 3 to 5 days it was completed in a day and a half. The materials are top of the line and our roof looks absolutely wonderful. They cleaned up all the messes and walked through our yard with a magnet getting any loose nails and walked through picking any leftover up by hand. Would 100 percent recommend them to anyone.

I was immediately impressed because their project manager, Darin Lay, showed up exactly on time for the initial estimate. Their quote was fair, and they began work very quickly. Always arriving right on time. Darin was communicative throughout the project so I knew exactly what to expect.
I opted to get a metal roof--I absolutely love it! The metal workers were nothing short of artists, taking care of every last detail. They cleaned the worksite after each day of any debris and fallen nails. They worked diligently until the project was completed and I could not be happier with the results! Had Parker and his team put a new roof on my home. Very fast and efficient. And looks great too! We have had constant leaks from who roofed my home and had 5 different people look at it and say they “fixed” it and never did. Lifetime found the issue and when they came to out my new roof on they were very professional. Cleaned up real nice after as well. He helped fix things that previous contractors did poorly or messed up. He helped me identify other fixes that were crucial to get done. John also helped me coordinate disaster relief services for damage done to the inside. He helped me work with our insurance adjuster and was positive with me the whole time. I was worried that the last hail storm damaged our roof. I asked Doug from Lifetime roofing who was repairing our neighbors roof to see if we had any damage. Doug climbed up onto the roof and found no damage. And actually found some silicone work that the last roofers missed. He fixed the problem and assured us all was ok. No charge, he just did the right thing! These guys are great!

From my first encounter with Darin of Lifetime Roofing he was very professional and helpful. He explained to me the damages caused by the hail to both of my houses and the process that I would have to go through with my insurance company to claim the damages and then to get the repairs made. Lifetime came out and did an absolute fabulous job! They removed our old swamp cooler super fast and matched our shingles and made it look great. They went above and beyond and inspected our entire roof and even made a minor repair to part of our roof free of cost. The whole experience was excellent!

Our job was a complete tear off and replacement for a house built in 1937 in a historic district. Alfonso and his crew showed up at 7:30 a.m. on the scheduled day. They worked carefully, efficiently, and intelligently. Despite a difficult site with no vehicular access on a narrow street, filled with plants and trees, they finished well ahead of schedule. Neighbors complimented them on how quiet and efficient they were, and how.they seemed to respect the neighborhood. The new roof looks great, but we knew it would because Doug’s careful inspection and detailed specifications ensured that we knew exactly what we would be getting. You might expect that this kind of service would be pricey, but their bid came in just below the middle of those we got. All the way through the process, they went out of their way to respond to our needs and concerns. They left the site spotless. Before we chose them, we talked to a lot of people who had had bad experiences with roofers. Because we chose Lifetime, we enjoyed a great experience from start to finish.

Lifetime is an excellent company that does excellent work, and Doug was absolutely fantastic! After a major hail storm hit our area, we were flooded with roofing companies trying to get a piece of the action…and Doug from Lifetime roofing was the only one who knocked on our door that didn’t seem like a salesman. He was genuine, friendly, honest, and informative—but that wasn’t just a sales tactic, that’s who Doug actually is (and how he continued treat us throughout our experience with Lifetime). In fact, he seemed to have more concern for us as people than he had for his own company and their bottom line.

Doug checked in often, personally saw to all of our concerns, and always remained a welcomed phone call away. His crew was very polite, efficient, and did quality work. We were pleased as-is, but Doug held them accountable for even the most minor mistakes—which told us we had absolutely made the right choice. The roof looks beautiful now, and we have no question that it was done right.
