Lex Brodie's Kona Express Car Wash

I brought a truck with pipe rack. The staff allowed me to run it through thinking how it will work. They manually washed the hood and roof. Rest of the truck went through the wash. The attendant turned off the horizontal brush. What a great idea! Car wash in Oahu should learn from this! Mahalo

We came by to vacuum our rental car and we didn’t realize they closed 30 minutes prior. My husband got out of the car to start vacuuming and instead of nicely being told they were closed (totally fine we just didn’t realize) we were harshly told to get off their property. We got back in the car and were trying to find somewhere else to go and were again even more harshly told to get off the property like we were causing harm or something.

It was good till the last minute when he said. You only have seven minutes to clean up your car and get everything ready impossible. If you are OCD

You will be told to leave if you pass their 7 minute vacuum limit. If you’re charging $18 for a drive through car wash, at least let your customers fully vacuum out their cars. Had to drive across the street to finish detailing my car on the side of the road.

Easy in and out. Staff was very helpful and the prices are fair. Car came out really clean, free vacuum and I purchased a towel for two bucks.

Quick wash was great. They sprayed down any stubborn areas before entering. The vacuum after was a nice perk. Got all that sand out of the mats!

The staff sucks!!! All of them have an attitude, and then when the soap didn't get washed off completely we went back for a 2nd time to get it washed, we were met with even more attitude. And the staff clearly is gossiping and talking bad about us which is wild the only reason they stay in business is because they are the only large car wash in the area. I guess that's what you get when you mostly hire ex convicts as your staff...

I help a friend out with delivering their Turo car and we use this car wash for which The owner of the car has a monthly pass so he can get unlimited washes. The car always comes out clean and the help is pleasant. The only thing I would say is that sometimes when it's busy then there aren't any spots to pull into to vacuum the inside which happened this time to me so I just vacuumed it when I got home. They have lots of spots for vacuuming however it was unusually busy when I went this time.

Have been getting my vehicles washed here for years ever since they opened. Only once experienced an issue or problem when the self-vacuum wasn't working so had to repark my vehicle into another space to use the vacuum.

Very friendly and helpful. Our new electric BMW had a driver issue an car wash stopped automatically. Safety first and manager assisted the driver and resolved the issue.

Worst car wash! If I could rate ZERO I would!
I choose the Premium car wash $20 with high expectation! Did not clean dirt at all and my car did not have much dirt in it.
I had to go scrub down alot of dirt away by hand. Would not recommend but the link ly car wash in kona.

Friendly staff. The prices did go up a little. $20 for ultra but still free vacum. I love the fresheners they give. Keeps my truck smelling great

A pretty standard drive-through car wash with vacuums available after going through the wash. The vacuums were nice and convenient but felt like they lacked a little oomph - they were having trouble picking up sand.

I asked for the "premium" wash ($18). The attendant said "You said ultimate ($20) right?" I said "No, I'd like the premium please."

She charged me $20 for the ultimate. That's not what I asked for! I would have gone back and asked for my money back, but I didn't have time to drive around again.

The car was still dirty in places after the wash. See photo.

It's hard to find a car wash on the Big Island . Especially one with a vacuum. This place has both. Vacuum worked very well.

Got the car clean and had free vacuum included. Able to get our rental car in great shape before we left.

Clean, great customer service, quick and easy! I like the fact that you can pay a monthly fee and get as many washes as needed. It's a great feature if you're local
