I called Classic Construction based on a recommendation from a friend and Nick was so helpful! I have had long term siding issues with my home builder and they went out of their way to help me understand the issues and navigate them with the builder. Nick met with myself and the builder after assessing the problems and even educated the builder on the siding manufacturers specifications leading to an understanding of why the problems existed and how to resolve them long term. Finally, a company who I can trust that knows their industry. Thank you for being such a stand up company. Definitely experts in their field.

Nick and Kelly at Classic Construction took great care of both my home and myself when storm damage left me in need of a new roof! They went the extra mile and provided extensive protection of my landscaping and our in ground swimming pool. I was particularly concerned out the pool as it had just gotten a new vinyl liner at considerable expense, and if even one roofing screw was picked up by our robot bottom vacuum it could have slashed that new liner into ribbons! But they not only kept the pool covered, they swept the cover with a special magnetic device to pickup any stay screws, just in case! But they had been so careful that there were no stray screws or nails to be found.
I have needed storm damage repaired on other homes of mine in the past. I’ve grown roses as a hobby for probably 20 years. When one of my rose shrubs have been in the way of other crews, they simply hacked away at my beloved shrub, killing it in the process. Not so with Nick and Kelly’s Team at Classic! Their team carefully wrapped my shrubs growing around the foundation of my home thereby protecting both my shrubs and their crew! None of my precious plantings were harmed.
When big storms affect us here in Minnesota we get overwhelmed with out of state contractors knocking on our doors trying to solicit repair work. These guys disappear the minute the work is done! If there are problems with their work they won’t take any responsibility for it. Often one must file a lawsuit to gain any relief from their shoddy work, but usually to take that path to relief the homeowner must file suit in the location the business is located within. Classic construction is a Minnesota company, any they have Minnesota values. Nick has followed the progress of his crew throughout the project, ensuring it’s all done to their high standards! And they handled all of the insurance paperwork from start to finish. I will continue to turn to them anytime my home needs these sorts of repairs as I know they will handle the job with the highest integrity!

After hail damage from a storm, Classic did everything for me. Assessed the damage, worked with my insurance, and scheduled all the replacements. I got my roof and all siding done with them. I got a fresh new look to my house, and the designer sent me many sample options of what my house would look like. Neil, the project manager, kept me up to date with progress and even sent me pics of the progress while I was out of town. Great company to work with.

Classic Construction did a great job taking care of all the admin tasks and communication between myself, labor crews and insurance company. The labor crews for my roof and siding were excellent!! Hopefully I don't have to but I would go with Classic Construction again.

My father-in-law had a very large tree fall on his home. There was roof damage, gutters were torn off, there was soffit and facia issues. Nick and his team took care of everything. From the estimate, to coordination of the different trade people, the project was completed to everyone's satisfaction. The weather didn't cooperate but Nick's crew worked around it. Once completed, the new components matched exactly and we are very satisfied. There are many concerns today with unqualified or unlicensed contractors, but going forward we will recommend all our friends and families use Classic Construction for their construction needs.

I worked with Nick to get a roof replacement on one of my homes and it was smooth sailing ! The professionalism and attention to detail and quality control is un matched and on the back end Kelly in the office is on top of everything superb communication billing and all around stress free. I value an easy transaction and they all made it very smooth and top notch !

In the last 4 months I have replaced two roofs . . . one at my business and then my home. The first project, at my business and done by another contractor, was a nightmare experience with minimal supervision by the project manager, major water intrusion issues due to improper waterproofing while the project was underway, and no assistance with the insurance process.

I contrast that with the experience of the asphalt roof replacement at my home by Classic Construction with Davinci Slate. I am thrilled with not only the process but the results. CLASSIC CONSTRUCTION SAVES THE DAY!

A tree fell on our roof after a storm and after attempting to work with three other contractors and a frustrating time dealing with insurance, we gave Classic a call and Ryan Halverson stepped up to take over and get the ball rolling.

After Ryan came and started the process, I did not have the speak to my insurance company ONE TIME other than to confirm payments being sent and any estimate changes, their team including Charles, Kelly, and Katrina kept us in the loop about everything.

The old roof came down and the new one went up in less than a day, clean up was great. And now it's all been wrapped up more painlessly than I could have anticipated.

I was exceptionally impressed with Classic Construction, including Charlie Perkins, my main contact there.

I didn’t have any insurance coverage for my new roof, which seems unusual these days. So I looked very carefully for recommendations, tried to compare bids closely, and talked to five separate companies about the project.

Classic wasn’t the cheapest fit, but it wasn’t far off.

More importantly, it felt to me like their bid was thoughtful, comprehensive, and considered several contingencies that other companies failed to mention (or failed to consider).

In the end, it turned out that one of those contingencies materialized. I knew the cost upfront, I trusted them, they showed me evidence of the need for the change, and they took care of it.

Sure, I wasn’t happy that the project got a lot more expensive.

But I wonder what anither company would have done. Maybe they would have pretended like there was nothing wrong and finished it without me knowing any better?

Maybe they would have come to me to ask for significantly more money in the middle of the project after I had accepted their bid that was significantly lower?

I don’t know what would have happened, but I know that Classic Construction was upfront, experienced, competitive in their pricing, and helped me feel confident about making a huge expenditure.

Charlie and the whole Classic Construction team kept me in the loop, communicated effectively, estimated time well, checked in with me during the course of the project, and worked hard to make sure that my needs were met from the start of the bidding process through the finished project.

No one, including me, is going to tell you that replacing your roof without insurance coverage is fun. It isn’t. But making that kind of investment in my home felt a lot better with Charlie and the Classic Construction team on my side. I recommend them without reservation.

We are very happy with the work done by Classic Construction in 2022 and 2023. We had siding, roofing on both our house and barn done. There was a storm in 2022 where we had a lot of hail damage. While there were some hiccups, they worked through them to support us! Our house and barn look wonderful!!
In the spring of 2024 we noticed some water damage on the ceiling. They immediately came out, crawled into our attic with my husband. It turns out it was because some insulation was moved away from the top of rhe 2×4s. This had nothing to do with their work. He said he was glad he could help us and left us smiling.
