Best customer service of just about any business I've ever patronized anywhere, and they've kept up the same standards for years. I frequently submit orders for delivery via email, which are delivered very promptly, sometimes even the next day. When there is even a small question about an order, they proactively reach out to clarify, and when there is an issue, they rectify promptly. Extremely knowledgeable staff and with their lumber yard and special ordering capabilities, there is rarely a reason to need to go to a Big Box hardware brand.

Had an excellent experience with Jeff when we upgraded our kitchen, he was a pleasure to deal with and when he came to our home, he had some great ideas we were able to use. Had an compressor that needed repairs . Simple belt . First had told me they dont take belts . They looked it up come find out I was correct .. had my compressor for well over 2 weeks.. closer to 3 weeks . . No work has been started on my compressor... horrible service ... thought only there lumber was horrible..

Truly, the only thing better than a good hardware store, is a good thrift store.
The management here understands Vermont climes and keeps pellets in stock y/r. I don't think they offer a Veterans discount (we get one at Aubuchon in town) but the prices are better at LaValleys anyway. They keep me stocked in clear Gorilla Glue, too. YaY

They deliver to your job site of you order enough. Great people. The dude in the lumber yard is mad uptight.

For a local hardware store need a bit more variety however they take pride in excelling to meet customer needs.

There people at LaValleys are very friendly and helpful. They have often delivered construction materials for me. They also have told, hardware, dog food etc.
