In the past year my wife and I have had the pleasure of purchasing two pre-owned vehicles from Benson's Chevrolet, I use the word pleasure because that's what it was. The first was a 2004 C5 Corvette Targa 17000 original miles like new WOW what a car, the second and most recent was a 2004 Chevrolet Super Sport Roadster LS (SSR LS) in impeccable condition both very hard to find unabused, but not at Benson's... Hassle free , relaxed, competitive pricing. Our salesperson Rich was attentive and informed and when we asked to have a couple small issues addressed on the SSR he took care of them and beyond, and Mike the sales MGR made the Money end simple and quick.. Weather your looking for New, Pre-owned, excellent service, parts or just what to talk CARS... Benson's Chevrolet is the Dealership to go to. We drive 7.5 hrs round trip to do so. Hats off to the Benson's team ......

Rich and Mike provided a great purchase experience. I live 2+ hours from the store, so they facilitated the majority of the transaction ahead of time. I was in and out very quickly the day I picked up. Vehicle was very nice and as described, communication throughout the process was excellent and the deal was good. Highly recommended!

I contacted the dealership about a truck that keeps coming up on Edmunds and is on the dealerships web site. Received a " yeah that one sold the other day, but maybe we can get you into something else. " four days later this truck is still on line. If it sold take it off your site, otherwise you are doing a bait and switch and is not a way to get customers.

Once again a flawless oil change and tire rotation. Comfortable work space for me and an added bonus-they. Washed my car

We had a fantastic experience buying a new Silverado at Benson's Chevrolet! The staff was knowledgeable, friendly, professional, and made the whole process smooth. Tony was great to work with and Derek made the financial paperwork a breeze. We were in and out very fast and look forward to the opportunity to purchase another vehicle at Benson's in the future.

I had my truck oiled, detailed and oil change. I have to say, it was a very positive experience. The detail person did a wonderful job.

Service was awesome. I came in for an oil change, but mechanic noticed I also needed a tire rotation and did it right there too.

Test drove a used pickup and it had a laundry list of issues and smelled like an ashtray. Gave them the opportunity to fix needed repairs to which they agreed. Went back when we were told it was all set and only one thing had been done and nothing was done with interior. We were warned about service dept and now we are passing along that warning.

Had my first solo car buying experience here and it was super easy. Staff was able to work with me over the phone and email and made the whole process very stress free.

Have had multiple service visits to Bensons for our GMC and Ford Expedition. John and his service team are extremely professional and efficient in processing the service call and we get our vehicle back in a timely manner. I wouldn’t bring our vehicles to any other service organization and will be purchasing our next truck from Bensons. Job well done.

I'd been in the market for my dream car, a Camaro 2SS Convertible, for many months, but could not find the vehicle I was looking for locally in Massachusetts. With the help of the GM "My Chevy" website, I was able to look into dealer inventories in my region, and I was thrilled to see the exact model, trim and features I was looking for three hours away at Benson's Chevy in Ludlow, Vermont. GM's web chat service connected me with Tasha at Benson's, who contacted me the next morning with helpful information about the vehicle and the process of purchasing a car out-of-state. Her knowledge and reassurance gave me confidence to purchase a car over 100 miles away from my home. With the weather still being cold and snowy in New England, Tasha and the Benson's service team arranged to purchase and mount performance winter wheels and tires on the Camaro, wrap up the summer-only OEM tires, and load them into my SUV to take home. Derek at Benson's finance made sure to get me the applicable incentives and discounts, including finding several financing options tailored to my situation. When I arrived at the dealership, the car was prepped for a test drive, and the papers were lined up for me to sign and drive away -- all within an hour. The entire team (including George Benson himself) was helpful, professional, and friendly. And the purchasing experience was outstanding -- five stars and definitely worth the six hour round trip!

My Enterprise rental car would not start and AAA was not able to get the car started either. The team from the service department drove to where my family and I were to assist. They were able to get the car started and provided a quick diagnosis to ensure I was able to drive home to Philadelphia without any concern. Fantastic team in the service department.

Last weekend on my way to skiing at Killington the wiper blade broke off my new Tahoe. I was able to get my truck to Benson Chevrolet and want to thank John Avery and his staff for going above and beyond !! John saved the day and got a new wiper blade installed during the snow storm !!

He walked me through a bunch of different builds, a zillion different options until I finally made up my mind on a 2023 Chevy Silverado 2500 HD High Country Diesel. Couldn't be happier!

I had a transmission coolant line develop a leak in my plow truck. Even though it is a Ford, Donny in parts found what he needed and John got the truck in and repaired before the storm hit. In todays world, this kind of quick prompt service just does not exist any more. All I can say is thank you and let people know that Benson Chevrolet rocks.

Weary from nearby dealer ‘nickel and dime-ing’ (actually $100’s and $1,000’s ), and low-ball offers for my trade-in bordering on insult, I stopped by Benson’s after looking at they’re inventory on they’re site.

Tasha in sales, and Deryk in the finance/ trade-evaluation, were exceptionally helpful and straightforward. Absolutely ZERO high-pressure anxiety, unlike nearby dealers who employ ‘good cop/ bad cop’ and ‘sign now’ tactics.

I have a brand new 2022 Corvette. Very rare in this part of Vermont, and bought at another dealer 100 miles away. I needed a Vermont State inspection sticker, a change of brake pads to a low dust brand, and install fender mud guards. I was able to get an appointment in under a week, was provided a loaner car, and the work was done the same day. The service advisor, also a Corvette enthusiast, was was most courteous and took top care of my car. One of the parts I supplied did not fit properly, and they researched where the right part could be bought. And the labor charges were reasonable. Could not have asked for more.

I had an 8am appointment to take snows off & summer tires on. I arrived and pulled in at 8am. I left there at 9:35am! The service team knew I wasn't happy with the wait although I didn't say anything. They were rude when I left. :( It is not the first time this happened.

Had an oil change and a check engine alert.
Oil change went well.
Cleared check engine fault. Fault came back on later that day.
Stopped by to let the know the fault was back. Took it right in and cleaner throttle body.
Fault has not returned yet. Found out later that day my cruise control did not work. Stopped by and let them know.Found out a wire was left unplugged. Works now.

The service team was excellent. I was on vacation when my Yukon broke down, and they went above and beyond to help me by quickly diagnosing the problem with my car and providing me a rental car for my trip back home.

They took me without an appointment had the part I needed to repair my rear windshield wiper and were courteous and professional throughout. Great waiting area very nice people

I was skiing at Okemo and some sort of debris on the road disrupted a part of the bottom of my car. I do not have a Chevy. It was a Ford flex. I pulled into this dealer and asked him if they could help me. They took me in fix my car and charge me a minimal amount of money. I’ve never met nicer people in my life I would highly recommend these people for anything you need

Great, 330 appointment vehicle in shop 10 min.later. 4 new tires mounted and balanced then an undercoating. Just know undercoating happens after closing,so it was a wait.Great job though.

Being from out of state,Bensons took me in with out an appointment within a couple of hrs. Fixed my truck quickly and got me on the road. very polite knowledgable staff.

I test drove a 2009 Chevrolet 2500 duramax plow truck it over heated just a half mile up the road so I drove it back 2 sales people and a mechanic came out they said it was because the plow was on and it’s 60 degrees out so they took the plow off and had me drive it again it was fine so I believed the benson crew and paid cash for the truck then when the snow fell I put the plow on and headed out to start my plow Route I got about a mile up the road and it started overheating so I turned around had to buy another plow truck off Craigslist just to get my customers driveways plowed. I ended up throwing my salter on the duramax with the plow off it salted fine but I really needed to be able to plow with it too so I dropped it off at benson they had it for a week then finally said I need head gaskets and it’s gonna be over $8500 I thought it over talked to some other shops and explained it overheated from the day I bought it! So I picked up the truck cause I needed to salt my driveways and bensons want $228 for doing nothing! I will never purchase anything from them and I’ve talked to my lawyer.

Easy car buying experience. No pressure or obnoxious people telling me what i needed. Would definately make the drive again.

The experience was great and the service was over the top. I'll definitely be coming back for all future service and repairs and would recommend to everyone that needs service don't to their vehicle. The staff is very kind and friendly and take very well care of their customers.

These guys are the best!! Just bought a 2021 Suburban and they delivered to me here in Boston area. I tried all the big box dealers around here with all their fancy ads and they all just gave me the " runaround" , " bait and switch ", and all left me with that uneasy feeling. and kept calling me about other " deals". Not so with the Bensons!! They are the most honest and sincere dealers I've ever come across. From start to finish everything was on the up and up. Such a joy to deal with. Unfortunately I only buy a new suburban about every 15 years, but hopefully we'll both be around for the next one!

the service was fine but disappointed. I bought this truck last year, it has 900 miles on it. I paid $54000 for it. yesterday I brought it in for a rattle in the rear end.to find out it was the rear springs. the noise is unbearable they told me it was an ongoing problem with the chevy 2500HD. my problem is if the dealer knew this I should have been told before I bought it. they told me there is no fix. I want the problem fixed or a replacement by a 2021 at no cost to me. I ordered a 3500 dump truck but am now having second thoughts. thank you George Klezos.

i have full confidence in their service dept. from the service desk to the shop they are on point and squared away! thank you all for keeping truck prepared for what ever comes my way.

I can't say enough good things about these guys! I took my Audi Q5 here to have a new compressor and pressure switch installed, and Benson's did not disappoint. They do good, honest work. The guys in the service department know what they're doing and can do effective repairs with a quick turnaround. There are only a few shops I genuinely trust with my car, and Benson's is one of them.

great family dealership. Would not go anywhere else to purchase or have my vehicle serviced. Top notch staff and they have been around for almost 100 years for a reason.

The last time I wrote a review for Benson’s Chevrolet was over 6 years ago and my comments are even more positive than the already positive ones I had back then. The service team (John Avery, Denise, Rich and Joe) are some of the best in the business. Great customer care starts from the top and works its way through the entire company. George Benson has done an unbelievable job of radiating excellent customer service through his entire organization. Any problem or issue I have ever had with my truck was always resolved immediately and efficiently. The service technicians are all extremely knowledgeable and super efficient. Thank you Benson’s Chevrolet for providing me well over 8 years of excellent customer service!!
