Placed an order for a few sheets of paneling, the Newport store never put them on the truck to be sent to Walpole. I had to call three times asking where the product was, after being told I would be contacted via text or call. Save yourself the hassle. If they don’t have something in stock and they say another store can ship it, don’t fall for it. Go to Home Depot and save yourself the headache.
This is by far the best lumberyard/hardware store EVER. Molly is particularly knowledgable/helpful, their staff reins supreme in comparison to big box stores. Even in these pandemic times, when supply issues make it tougher I have always found what I needed there.
The paint department is the best.
I’d agree with the negative reviews! The older woman at the counter was arrogant and not helpful! I’d have never stopped as lavalleys is a local joke for prices and service but before 7:30 there’s no other options. Next time I’ll gladly sit in aubuchons parking lot till 7:30. The words that should describe my experience are ones I won’t write. My advice go anywhere but here
