Laramie Valley Contracting & Roofing

We have an awkward roof. It was piece-mealed together by the original owner of our house. We got several bids to fix it and went with Laramie Valley Contracting mostly becsuse Arsenio offered us the best price. I'd say "You get what you pay for" but, even then, we overpaid.

They did end up replacing the shingles and several pieces of rotten plywood. But, on the edges, the metal flashing was just put back on rotten fascia. They didn't give us the option of having it replaced.

We wanted them to come back and put gutters on but, like other reviewers have said...we gave up because he never called back to schedule.

Our new shingles made it through one winter with no leaking. This winter, it is leaking again worse than it was before they "fixed" it. And, it's past the guarantee period. When I reached out to talk over the issue, I got a return call from a nice lady who couldn't give me any information.

My recommendation: pay a little extra to get the job done right and has a longer guarantee period AND is more responsive. I do not recommend this company.

I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND DOING ANY BUSINESS WITH THESE GUYS. I rented from them for six months. They were super professional while I was there tenant but as soon as I left everything changed. When I moved in I paid 1st & last months rent along with a deposit. I gave them a 30 day written notice of me leaving/moving out like the lease said. I shampooed the carpets and cleaned before leaving like the lease also stated. When I left I should have gotten my overpaid rent and deposit back. I only got a check for 100.00 back out of $1,735.00 I should have gotten back. They claimed they needed the rest of it to use for repairs to the place. No where in my lease does it say they can keep overpaid rent if the deposit amount doesn't cover the repair amount. There was just normal wear and tear to the place. They didn't do a walk through of the place with me, I asked numerous times and they ended up doing it themselves. Anytime I call or text them they never respond or answer. I moved out in November and was trying to get in contact with Arsenio from November-March and still haven't heard back from him! Never got my over paid rent back! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE GUYS UNLESS U WANT TO GET SCREWED OVER AND THEM TO STEAL UR MONEY!!!

Laramie Valley Contracting, aka Laramie Valley Roofing did excellent work for my roof. They were easy to work with for the estimate, they were dependable, did excellent, quality workmanship, were communicative, and I feel went beyond in any problem solving and solutions. They did not start the job, then move to another to keep work going as some do, and their dates were fast. The office staff is especially dependable, detailed, and efficient. The workers were excellent, pleasant, courteous, and were not slackers as with some roofers. They cleaned up well. I’ve done 6 roofing jobs in various cities in the last year and these people are high on my list. As with any job you contract, you must have written detailed contract pus require work orders for any changes. My only concern at the time was they were not current with their Wyoming State business requirements and the contract name used initially, so there could have been a problem if collection was required that I would not suspect from this business in my dealings. Hence, I did not pay until the job was completed and you can check the Sec of State web site to see if the issue is resolved. My rating is an A, I’d use them gladly again.
