Lansing Building Products - East Haven, CT

I had a poor experience with Lansing West Haven, CT office. I needed 3 replacement casement windows for a sunroom and was told by Lansing that I, the homeowner, could not take the measurements myself so they sent out a Rep from their office who took the measurements along with my contractor. I did nothing but open the door to let them in (and write a check). The windows that arrived a month later were 2 inches taller than the originals creating a lot of extra work for the contractor, and a visually unappealing contrast with the other 6 windows that did not need replacing. Lansing Rep blames the contractor for the measurement error and will not offer even a nominal concession. Contractor, who has done hundreds of window replacements, disagrees and suggested a meeting for all of us to review and discuss. Lansing no longer returning calls and not amenable to a meeting which tells you everything you need to know. I strongly advise against using this firm as they do not respect their customers or provide the bare minimum level of service.

Bought over a dozen Majesty windows a couple years ago. I had a great installer and everything went to plan. Windows are weathering well.

But Harvey's base model screen turned out to be cheaper and flimsier than I imagined. The little tabs tore off most of them. The ones I can actually get back in, I'll have to never take out. It took the shine off the product line big time.

Had to pick up new vent for bathroom excellent customer service went to HD they had no idea what I was talking about or what I needed ,was able to get vent here
