Lambert Cleaning

We hired Lamberts for a move out cleaning. They charged me for extra labor but it honestly doesn't even seemed like they cleaned anything. The house was empty so I'm not sure how they could've missed as much as they did. They DO NOT offer refunds.

Updated Response: Lambert listed their time of arrival at 11:50am and arrived at 11:30am. There were some items still in the house but they were removed within 10-15min of their arrival. While they did offer to do a touch-up service, this was a move-out cleaning. The new owner had taken possession of the home by the time they addressed the issues. Since they specifically offer move-out services, they need to offer refunds, even partial refunds. Both of which were denied.

We recently had Lambert’s do a deep clean and window cleaning prior to listing our Ouse for sale. If I were to give a grade for the deep cleaning work, it would be a B- and an A+ for the window cleaning. The deep cleaning was a disappointment. The team was on time, and friendly but did not attend to details as we would have liked. There was dust, and dirt under some furniture, the baseboards in many rooms had
not been dusted, and there were streaks on the wood floors in the living/dining room area. The window team, however, did and excellent job. When asked to rate the service by Lambert’s, I said all this but never got a follow up call about it. Again, a disappointment. While overall, the work was fine, we expected more for what we paid. I would not say don’t use them, but just carefully check the work before the deep clean team leaves.

They did a great job on a very expensive nine by twelve oriental rug. And they beat their promise date by several days. My kind of place!

Working with Lambert Cleaning was easy peasy. Scheduled an appt to get my carpet cleaned. They were professional from the appt coordinator Lisa, to the owner Joey who showed up on time for the cleaning. Carpets looked very good after cleaning was finished and they’re reasonably priced!

They were very polite and did a good job and I appreciate them including my gazebo. I didn't understand why they missed 2 windows and 1 door on the house. I don't want you to bother sending them back and I'll clean those in exchange for no charge for the gazebo.

I had Lambert Cleaning soft washed my home and our church buildings. They did an excellent job! I highly recommend them for any cleaning services.

We have been using Lambert Cleaning for our offices for a while now. They are professional and easy to work with. I have accidentally locked them out on several occasions, but they are always gracious and will work around my constantly changing schedule.

Joey's team at Lambert Cleaning are great to work with, they are very efficient, courteous and put the customers' needs first. Though they had a full schedule they were able to fit us in as needed. The customer should get what we are paying for Lambert does a great job at following through and following up.

We enlisted the help of Lambert Cleaning to do Move-Out services for a 40+ year old home that had been a bachelor pad for 2-years. We had a manager do a walk-through and give a fee estimate for the work (because we knew it was a big job). Once the house was emptied out of all furnishings, the cleaners arrived to do the clean. We were given a checklist of all the services provided. Partway through the service, I was contacted for additional fee since the house was taking longer to clean than anticipated. I agreed, as long as that meant that the house would be thoroughly cleaned, as in the contract. Once the cleaners left, we took numerous photos of obvious filth that was missed (dust on door slats, dirt crusted in corners and wall joints and under fixtures, dust on surfaces, sticky stuff on floor tiles, and grime on bathroom floors). Lamberts returned a day later to remedy the problems, but when I showed up a day after that, I was dismayed to see the condition of the house. I spent 5 hours scrubbing grout, mopping floors, dusting built-in shelves, cleaning light switch plates, cleaning walls, cleaning window sills, scrubbing the kitchen counters and sink, and throwing away bits of trash and debris left behind. I REALLY wanted to give them a good review, especially since they returned a second time (with a Case manager), but they just did not do a good job. At least , not with the Move-Out cleaning.

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly when dropping off and picking up our rug. The rug looks like new!

The Lambert crew did a phenomenal job on our church’s tile flooring. The whole process from booking to the actual work was smooth with no surprises. Communication was excellent with the staff and workers. I would highly recommend them.

The Lambert cleaning crews do a great job, and are personable and professional. The office staff are also super to work with, and so helpful when I need to occasionally reschedule or have a question. These things are not always a given with all cleaning companies, so I do highly recommend Lambert for people in the Harrisonburg/Staunton area.

NEVER use this company!! They did a soft wash of our roof and killed our landscaping and grass in the process. House and plants were not rinsed well which resulted in our windows being left with terrible streaks. Owner, Joey Lambert, refused to come to our house to view the situation in person even though we requested 5 times. We paid $1,500.00 to Lambert and are now left having to pay other vendors $3,300.00 to rectify Lamberts damage. Lambert is the WORST company ever - if problems arise they will NOT stand behind their work. BEWARE - avoid them like the plague.

We were delighted over Lambert Cleaning's visit to our home. I have a white sectional sofa which now looks brand new, thanks to the excellent cleaning service provided. We particularly were impressed with their professionalism, individualized service, and the fact that the owner is an internal part of customer care and the service provided. Certainly will recommend to family and friend!

I needed to turn a bedroom into a home office. We had dogs in the past. Needless to say the carpet was a mess. I looked into replacing the carpet, but the time frame did not fit my schedule. After doing some research I found Lambert Cleaning. The experience was wonderful from start to finish. I spoke to a real person. They were very communicative giving me updates on the arrival time of the tech. Joey arrived, assessed the carpet and got to work. I’m so glad I didn’t pay for new carpet! Joey did a fabulous job! I am very happy with the service I received from Lambert Cleaning. The online job request was easy to use and they responded immediately to schedule to job within the timeframe we needed to get the work done. Joe arrived on schedule and communicated clearly and kindly with all the details, managing my expectations well. We’re happy with the results.

The carpet had pretty significant coffee spills and lots of animals hair and smells. They removed nearly all stains (and greatly lessened ones that weren’t completely removed) and there was no odor after. Coat was significantly more than initially quoted but I believe in underestimated the square footage when sending info. Unfortunately wasn’t offered a larger sq Ft package quote.

This is the second time I've called upon Lambert to do a carpet cleaning for me and once again, I was not disappointed!! They did an extremely thorough job and got the two rooms I wanted done within 40 minutes, but most importantly the technique they use does not over saturate your carpeting and it dries quickly. You can't go wrong - they are awesome! Lambert Cleaning did a wonderful job with washing our outside windows. The windows were sparkling clean - no streaks or spots. The Lambert's team did an exceptionally good deep clean to prepare our house for the holidays. Their deep clean involves wiping down baseboards, doors, cabinet fronts, ceiling fans, etc., and is well worth the extra expense.
