In November 2024 high winds from the Bomb Cyclone crashed a tree through our roof. Within days LAIKA Construction had prepared a thorough proposal to rebuild the damaged roof and top floor and replace the broken windows which was received and rapidly approved by our insurance before the Thanksgiving holiday. Tim, Steve and Vitale coordinated multiple teams on overlapping timelines to secure the structural review and demolition of the damaged roof while materials were being prepared. Consequently, LAIKA had orders for materials submitted to vendors in December and was able to immediately commence work on the reconstruction. Their efficient oversight and planning resulted in completion of the reconstruction in under two months with only minor change orders. Every color, texture and style was carefully matched to the original materials. The crews at LAIKA worked efficiently and tirelessly and always with an eye towards quality to ensure we were completely satisfied with their work. I highly recommend LAIKA for your construction and remodeling projects.
