I employed Rob to install electrical wiring for my new garage. They did an excellent job for a reasonable cost. They were also on time and responsive with the work. I would definitely use them again for any future work. They are highly recommended.

Do NOT recommend, it was forever getting an estimate on an addition, lots delays, we tried to be patient, had to keep on them, they took a year, didn't finish, changed team leads, didn't respond to requests for diff quotes, wouldnt give itemized list charges, tore up siding and we had to insist they fix it. , had to redo a certain part 3x, never did final walk through or finish the job-- we had to ourselves, bullied us for all the money, charged us more. Only good thing was subcontractor who actually did the wrk was very nice. Krause is the worst, unprofessional, unreliable, no integrity. Will be filing w BBB.

Hired them to repair a small deck in preparation for the sale of a house. They have also performed various HVAC work for me, including seasonal system checks, over the years. Their workers are prompt, polite and get the job to our satisfaction. Their prices are reasonable.

After getting quotes from 5 different companies, We initially hired Larry to replace our roof. During the quote process, he was responsive, polite, patient and very professional. His quote was one of the lowest, but also his professionalism and responsiveness was what made us choose him. The guys showed up when promised, got the work done in one day, and it looks fantastic. We were so happy that we then contracted with Larry for siding our entire house, gutters with gutter guards, replacing the ceiling on our screened porch, and some exterior electrical. Again, Larry was very patient in answering all of our questions and responded promptly to all of our texts. We are so pleased with the final product (and our neighbors are too!) and look forward to our next projects with Larry! Larry and his guys (shout out to Michael, Chris, Gary, and Lorenzo) are genuinely good guys, very polite and attentive, and made every effort to make us feel like our satisfaction was their top priority. We appreciate everything they have done.

Krause electricians and drywall installer ran a complicated wire in our apartment and repaired the drywall cutouts. Great and professional service. And not an easy one to do!

Larry & his crew did an excellent job installing a new roof / 3 skylights, a gas fireplace and an exterior door on our workshop. In 2015, I hired Krause to build a deck and patio for my townhouse. The deck was immediately built and looked great....no issues to this day. The concrete patio, however, wasn't done for several months afterward. With every contact came excuses, but I remained patient. Upon completion, I was completely satisfied. Less than 6 months later, the patio developed cracking and chipping. When I contacted Krause, I acknowledged I was beyond the warranty date, but given the circumstances, I simply wanted to see if they could repair the issue. Larry met with me and said it was a simple repair and it will be done.....ALMOST 2 x YEARS later, countless emails back and forth with him and Charlie, the simple repair still isn't done. That is why I'm writing this review. "I thought this was done." "Charlie, contact me" etc....this went on for almost 2 x years until I have finally decided to move on.

I contacted Krause Plumbing regarding a water leak at a property that I own in Bel Air. The experience started out great. The plumber came out quickly and assessed the problem. They gave me an estimate and we told them to get it fixed. They said it would be next week. That was 10 days ago. Today, the plumber said that it will be two weeks before he can get to it. That is bad business. I've held up starting the rehab process to repair the leak waiting for the fix they said would be done by now. Now they want 14 more days?

We had our heater in our commercial office stop working. We called Krause as they came highly recommended. Thier tech was there in just over an hour. He diagnosed the problems left and returned a little later with correct parts and had the heat unit back working before the office got cold. I was very surprised at how reasonable the price was! Fair, honest, and quick is very hard to find these days! I Highly recommend Krause Companies!

Krause companies is great! I know when they come to my home that the work will be done properly and with great integrity. An example - I needed them to take a look at my AC unit. They quickly problem solved my issue and the cost was minimal. I appreciate their honesty and thorough work. Highly recommend the Krause Companies team.

Larry and the crews at Krause Companies are very knowledgeable, trustworthy, and respond immediately when called upon. They have done excellent work for me and many referrals. Its the only company you ever need to call when you want the work done right the first time and don't want to overpay.

Huge shout out to Krause Companies for coming out to look at my heating situation in our basement. Larry and his team were thorough and asked the right questions from the on site visit thru delivery and installation. They were excellent in explaining the new heat source and answered all of our questions. My wife and I are thrilled we trusted Krause Companies for our heating solution.

I used krause for a property that we manage it needed a garbage disposal replaced. They replaced it and all is well.

Called to have a leak fixed on my roof. Before giving details I was told.

"We are not taking repairs currently."

While I understand they are busy, they are installing complete roofs to make the most money, and not helping out potential customers for the future. You could help out multiple people in the same time you install 1 roof. I hope they learn from this review. You run a business how you want.

And no response is needed from the owner. There was no miscommunication. It was clear on what was said.

My home has since been repaired by another company and their information and yours was given to my realtor friend and my mother, who runs a business dealing clients and their rental properties. Best of luck in the future. I hope you learn from this.

This company should not be installing a roof on anyone's property. They came and installed half of my aunt's roof. They started on the wrong side. After realizing it was the wrong side, they did a terrible job trying to fix their mistake. They left things open to the elements, and would not honor the damage they caused. As a roofing foreman, myself, I took pictures to let them know things weren't finished. They still did not honor the mistakes, and I had to do the repairs myself. Once the man came back to look at everything and so some final details, the guy backed up in his truck and put his ladder through my aunt's window. its been a process, trying to get cooperation in fixing their mistakes. The window is still broken a month or more, later. I would not recommend this company to any person. They barely are competent to even put a roof on a home. If anyone uses this company, prepare to get screwed over.

Had Krause replace my AC unit a few weeks ago.....excellent work and customer service. Last year they installed a generator and hot water heater, again, can't say enough good things.

This week we had to replace the Poly Butyl water line from the meter into the house of a new townhouse my son purchased. Krause Plumbing completed the job in one day and pulled the line instead on digging up the whole yard. Required digging a small hole at the meter and then pulling the line out from the house through the ground and replacing the feed line. Cool process! Very cordial professional team that explained what they were doing and did a great job.

Larry Krause and his companies, Krause HVAC, Krause Plumbing, Krause Electrical, and Krause Home Improvement, do a great job. They are very friendly and professional, pricing is fair, and they do not try to fix something if it isn't broken. Larry is a person of very high integrity. I highly recommend them.

Krause has been our go fix it, repair it guys. They are great capable people that we trust to have in our home.

When I worked in the garage up in the rafters I found rotted material along the area where the garage and mudroom roofs come together and along the soffit. The rep came out and determined that the original roofer when they built the house set the valley up incorrectly. They came back the next day and repair the sheathing and worked the area with the minimum amount or disturbance to the rest of the roof. Great job and done quickly and professionally.

Krause Companies is the get it right contractor. Their work ethics are exceptional. They did work in several rooms of my home. The jobs were done right and completed on time.

I have had excellent experiences with The Krause Companies. They have done Plumbing work, repairs of electrical, and clean up and replacement of a flooded out basement. They were Professional and delivered everything promised and on time. I highly recommend Krause.

Having been a client for years, I've finally had it with the staff at Krause. They've been difficult to work with in the past, but always ultimately gotten the work done, until now. I had an appointment scheduled recently but apparently it did not make it onto their calendar. Unimpressive response to this error - a "sorry" and no real effort on rescheduling. I will be taking my business elsewhere.

Original quote changed during the job absorbing the entire budget for the 3 projects needed and only getting two projects done at 2100.00 which could have been better regarding quality and timing. Began calling in June, work didn't start until August. Because they were on the Wells Fargo list of Home Project vendors we had to use this group. Nice guys but not a reliable, timely and quality focused company. Cut a lot of corners, left debris, never fully completed one job causing rain to come in during the work, mismanaged schedules and overpriced to the point of gouging for repairing a rotting exterior face plate above the front door and everything behind it and below the foyer window and cutting a 2X4 drain out in the concrete patio near entrance to lower level. Again I recognized the cost was extreme but they are on the Wells Fargo list of authorized vendors and the work needed to get done. I would not recommend this company. Quite predatory. The estimated statement of work was ambiguous and overall I had to provide all the materials with the exception of the little lumber and plastic when the work finally started. They reused the insulation behind the face plate. This job started at 900 and ended at 1600 and cutting out a drainage point in the rear was 400 and building a deck gate 150. The original job of painting the deck never happened as the cost to do so was absorbed into repairing the front exterior face plate. Huge waste of time and money. Its unfortunate I couldn't give them a better review and I didn't get the deck painted which was quoted at 1100 and one of the three efforts included in the original estimate.

Excellent service on two gas fireplaces today. Called before the service call to tell me he was on his way. Service was efficient, fast and friendly. Would recommend highly~ Price was very fair also. Would use again! Rebecca Zivkovic, RE/MAX

If you are considering doing business with Krause Companies think again. While the workers who come out and actually do the work do fairly good work, you will literally have to go through hell and high water dealing with the people in the office. They will NEVER call you back. They will NEVER follow through on what they are supposed to do. They will literally lie repeatedly and give you false information without blinking, as integrity and honesty is not their strength to say the least. They will use every excuse in the book for why they can't accomplish minor tasks. Oh, and they will also come up with elaborate excuses for why they can't do their jobs: owner has death in family TWICE in two months of SAME person, everyone you ever spoke to was fired for incompetency, etc. then they will try to guilt you into feeling bad because you still expect work to get done months after the contract was signed. Oh and they tell you that the owner Larry will call you to discuss all the issues and shocker he NEVER calls. Oh and in addition, did I mention that no one there ever apologizes for any of the horrific business practices they exhibit on a daily basis? Do yourself a favor and make sure that you find another contractor. The only thing they do quickly and efficiently is cash your checks. After that, they will literally go MIA until you call repeatedly and angrily to get work done and that will not motivate them either.

This company is absolutely horrible! It says roofing here but they do many things. They built our deck for us and used the wrong plans, shorted us on square footage which we only knew about because my husband measured it himself and now our deck is dipping in certain areas and I cannot get anyone out to fix it.

Our experience has been so bad I'm filing a complaint with the better business bureau.

I used Krauss Roofing to fix a leak around my chimney. They gave us a very reasobale quote, told us we didn't need an expensive cricket, and showed up on time. He found some rotted wood, and only charged us for the actual wood he had to purchase. No additional charge for the extra work of replacing it. All said, he fixed both chimneys for the same amount of money that another quoted for one chinmey area. And, there have been no leaks since. great, fair company and excellent workers. I would highly recommend them.
