After searching for quite some time for a contractor to do a complete siding project on my 1923 home, I chose Koalaty Home Services and I am so happy that I did. From start to finish, they were professional, communicative and everything that one would hope for on such a project. I really have to give a major shout out to the installation team. Vincent, Oscar and everyone who showed up at 8:00 a.m. every day and worked so hard to bring this project to completion. My house is a bit quirky and the project was difficult in many ways due to the house being so old and yet, nothing deterred these guys. They were absolutely amazing. And I love the results so much. Talk about taking the stress out of such a big improvement and bringing a vision to life. 5 Stars all around. Best contractor experience I have ever had.

I had a siding repair job from where I had a back patio roof demolished. They were able to get a pretty close match to my current siding, then quoted several different options which was great, since it gave me the ability to go with what felt right for my situation. After the initial work was completed, I had a concern with part of the work and they were very attentive and within a day or two came back out and made sure everything met with my approval. I would definitely go with them for future work.

Excellent company. Highly recomend. The crew is quick to respond to customers interests. Management stands by their product and goes beyond the call of duty to see a customer satisfied. I know because i lived it. They completely resided our home and constructed a new deck that i could park a sherman tank on. If mine is any example of how they do business you can't go wrong. Koalaty replaced the siding on our entire house. We had some delays with our product but Koalaty stayed on top of it and kept us informed along the way. Koalaty stepped up and made some adjustments so our project could begin. The contractors come out in 19° weather to make sure we finished by our deadline. Koalaty did such a great job on a complete siding and gutter replacement on my house. This was a house that had at least three different kinds of old, mismatched siding patched on (one section of which was a horrible amateur job), several large holes at the back of the house, and a lot of 1970s-era glued on lava rock. They gave me a very competitive price for a complete overhaul, including some heavy work to break up and get rid of the lava rock.

They explained the different options very well and I ended up going with one of their lower-budget types of siding, but still with enough padding at the back to deal with the regular hail we get here.

I lived in the house for 4 years after Koalaty's siding replacement, had many hailstorms in that time and no damage at all, and no subsequent repairs needed to the work they did.

I have no doubt at all that this was one of the biggest factors in how fast I was able to sell the house in 2020 when I had to move elsewhere.

Koalaty replaced the window trim on a few of my windows that were badly damaged by water seeping in. The windows without damage were caulked and painted. The material they used to replace the trim was a significant upgrade from the MDF material used by the builder & is not susceptible to water damage. The replacements were also painted to match the existing trim. I felt the service was professional, higher than normal quality, and backed by integrity.

I used Koalaty Siding after getting several quotes for full replacement of my siding. From the initial phone call to the follow up call I received a year later, I can not recommend highly enough. I am ecstatic with the finished product (Hardie Lap siding) and they did a wonderful job ensuring that I was educated and aware of the entire process before hand and provided continuous updates. They went out of their way to limit impact on day to day life and worked diligently. I had an added framing project and window installation that I decided on part way through the install, and they took the added job in stride. They stayed within the quoted price and even added extra insulation that I purchased that I had planned on adding myself for no extra cost. If you are considering multiple bids, beware of the low-ball offers and have Koalaty come and provide a quote. I am extremely glad that I listened to their advice and used their services.

Flexible and able to answer all my questions. Able to schedule my siding, paint, and gutters quickly without delay. Made necessary corrections and adjustments during the project, and easily dealt with some confusion once things got started. Definitely worth the $17K I spent. Had a very good experience with Koalaty from start to finish. Pricing was very competitive, communication was good throughout, work crews were friendly and cleaned up well. Would recommend for your siding needs.

This company was easy to deal with, easy to communicate with, and straightforward from the start. They were also cheaper than my roofing general contractor's bid. They used quality material to wrap old wooden siding in bad condition, and all the work was completed on time.

I had a hard time getting other contractors to take the job or even bid on it because the property is so small (a 330 square foot ADU, or mother in law apartment, situated behind a normal sized house). Koalaty treated my job with the same consideration as if it were a larger home and had time to answer my questions before work started.

The house looks great now! We are proud to show it to tenants, and we are no longer worried about water getting into the new drywall or insulation because everything is weather tight and sealed correctly.

I recommend this company - if I ever have another project involving siding, exterior trim or gutters, I will contact them again.

I cannot say enough about this company! Everyone I dealt with was helpful and pleasant starting from my panicky phone call to Star about the brown gunk leaking out of our old siding on to the end! I was a nervous wreck because we started this during the beginning of “the virus”. From the first day the crew showed I stopped worrying. The construction crew was great- worked hard, were respectful to property, and left everything in great condition-actually our gutters are better fastened than they were. The painting crew was the same- great attention to detail and pleasant. I even got compliments from neighbors on how well they worked. The office staff was great and they have a very effective communication system in place so any concerns are addressed very quickly.

We had a small section of siding to repair on our second floor due to water damage plus we added a short section of gutter to prevent the damage from happening again. The Koalaty team was great! Our siding repair was completed in just a few hours and it looks like it is original to the house! The gutter install crew arrived a few days later and they were just as efficient. They did a terrific job. This was a repair of a weather-damaged wall, and unlike other companies, they didn't insist on doing the whole house. The sales process was easygoing. The crews were skilled and friendly, and worked hard for the entire project, even in some cold temperatures. We had one problem, where a pipe burst during demolition. Koalaty handled this situation fairly and promptly. The owner called personally to make sure we were OK with the resolution. We would highly recommend Koalaty to anyone needing these services.

I highly recommend Koalaty for James Hardie siding replacement.

We purchased our home three years ago in 2016. At the time of purchase, we knew there were some issues with the siding on the house. The previous owner had installed James Hardie siding around 2001. He either did it himself or had a contractor who didn’t know what they were doing. It was installed incorrectly per most every James Hardie specification and installed over the old cedar siding. This resulted in many of the Hardie planks loosening off the house.

Our first plan was to repair the siding then paint the house. Unfortunately, when you just want to repair siding, most companies won’t even respond to the inquiry. That wasn’t the case with Koalaty. They were the only company to respond. Within a few days, their salesman Tom came out to the house to discuss options. After inspecting the siding with Tom, it became clear to me that our best option to address the siding on our home that we intend to own for many years was to fully replace the siding. Tom did offer options to repair the existing siding as best as possible, but we want to protect our largest investment so went with a full residing.

I received 4 quotes for a total residing. All 4 quotes were fairly close in price. We made the decision to use Koalaty after carefully reviewing their online reviews, as well as the professionalism of the salesman Tom.

Our project included the following: removing two layers of siding (old Hardie layer and cedar wood layer), installing new OSB around the entire house, installing James Hardie siding, soffits and fascia, then installing new gutters. We could have went with a primed board and painted the house but opted for the James Hardie ColorPlus (factory pre-painted).

The work began within a few weeks of signing the contract. The crew that completed the work on our house were respectful of our property and did a fantastic job. They would answer any questions we had. If it was something they couldn’t address, Darren & Paul were a phone call away and responded immediately

Once the job was 99.9% completed, Paul came out to do a final walk-through. There were a few concerns I had that needed to be addressed. Paul and Darren worked quickly to get the crew back out to finish a few touch up items. They wouldn’t take final payment until I was 100% satisfied with the work that was completed.

As with any major project, sometimes things can go wrong. When working around the hose bib on the outside of my house, a water leak occurred in the wall. Darren called me immediately to tell me about the leaking pipe. It was about a total of 30 minutes until I got home and was able to shut off the water. In that time, about 300 gallons of water leaked into the basement.

The great team at Koalaty saved the day. Within 2 hours of the leak, they had a restoration company at my house to dry out the basement. Thanks to that quick action, there was no damage other than drying things out then putting the carpet and baseboards back together. The only reason the damage was mitigated was due to the quick action of Koalaty to resolve the issue. Darren even dropped everything he was doing and came to Evergreen to meet the restoration company. Cory followed up that day with a phone call to me and assured me they would take care of any damages, and make sure the basement was good as new. I am happy to say, that’s exactly what they did. I was so very impressed with the entire team at Koalaty for resolving this issue. Truly a great contractor.

It’s now been over two months since the completion of the full residing job on my house and I couldn’t be happier. From the outside, it is like a brand new house. We have received many compliments from friends and neighbors. I'm adding photos of the completed work and one before photo, but the photos do not do justice to the great work Koalaty did on the house. I will gladly refer Koalaty to friends and family. Koalaty really helped us out of a tough situation. We were already under contract (with a different contractor) for a new roof and new gutter installation when we noticed that some of our fascia board was rotting. The problem was that our current contractor didn't do fascia replacement! A lot of contractors that I contacted weren't interested -- the job was effectively too small. Koalaty came in with a reasonable estimate and were able to squeeze us into their schedule (even with the very wet spring Colorado has had). The new fascia looks great, and we're now ready for gutter installation. Koalaty was great to work with!

I think the best endorsement I can give is that when little problems and hiccups came up (as is inevitable with these sorts of projects) they fixed them and took care of things without having to be asked. Everybody we interacted with was friendly and easy to work with.

Review from 2nd job: Hired them 2nd time to do the 2nd half of the house and my entire review below from the first job 8 months ago stands. Did a great job and made sure everything was completed as promised and expected.
Review from first job: Koalaty is a great siding company. I looked for a Hardee contractor and had two other bids as well. All three bids were roughly in line in terms of cost, and all had good reviews on yelp and the Hardee contractor section website. I decided to go with Koalaty due to the following:
1. The Personal Factor: Koalaty is a smaller company w/ all the expertise of a large contractor, which really helps to get to know the people, including the owner Cory, the head of sales Tom, and the operations leaders Star and Paul. After speaking w/ them multiple times before the start of the job I was convinced they could be trusted, and in retrospect I was 100% right. If there were any issues as the project progressed, the Koalaty team always came up honest and true to their word, willing to go the extra mile.
2. The Expert Factor: Koalaty really has all the latest expertise around installing Hardee siding, and not only siding, but related matters such as insulation (both temp and sound) and structure / framing. I needed to improve insulation and they worked w/ me to get the best option for the cost. Also, their workers are some of the best, which is not easy to keep these days w/ high demand and turnover in Denver. But their line workers stick w/ Koalaty for the long term, despite attempts by competitors to steal top workers. So Koalaty takes care of their people, who deliver the end product, which was important for me.
3. The Flexibility Factor: Koalaty is flexible in that they can just do a part of the property, which is what I wanted. They started by doing one side, and towards the end of the job I liked the work so much that decided to expand w/ another section of the house. They accommodated that with the same team and at competitive cost.
4. The Competitive Factor: Koalaty is competitive on price with the other top vendors, and can even come in a bit below to win and keep a customer. So knowing that you are not overpaying, and maybe even saving a few hundred $ is always helpful. They will also not sacrifice on quality of any of the materials (other than the Hardee boards) to get you the best price.
In summary, I am glad I found Koalaty and went with them. I know I am getting top quality service at the best price out there. I liked them so much that I am having the remaining major section of the house done this upcoming spring.
For reference my job was a full outside wall rebuild down to the studs by replacing any damaged insulation, installing all new OSB boards, taping the OSB at the edges, installing 1/2 inch EPS foam on top of the OSB, taping the foam boards at the edges, installing a vapor barrier on top, and finally installing the hardee boards. They also installed hardee trim around the windows, doors, gable vents, installed trim to the ground, and even put up a couple of awnings. Pics below:

I signed a contract with Koalaty to replace part of my siding that was damaged in a hail storm. I met with someone named Dave on October 11. He gave me a quote, and I signed a contract and put down a deposit. Our house was going on the market soon, which I let him know. I was told he would e-mail me a copy of what I signed. He did not. I heard nothing from Koalaty, so I contacted them through their website on 10/23. I heard back from the owner right away and said it usually takes 2 weeks to get me in the system and then it would be 4-8 weeks, but since we were selling the house, he would try to work it out to get it done quicker. On 10/26 I met with Corey W. and signed another contract, but my initial deposit was honored. I again heard nothing from Koalaty for a while. I called them to let them know that my house was closing on Dec 21. At that point, they let me know that they were not sure that they could get it done on time, but that they would keep me posted. I talked to a woman named Erin most often, I would have a conversation with her, and then a few hours later, I would get a voicemail from her which made it seem that she had no recollection of talking to me. I finally talked to Daren on December 10. He told me that they would be able to complete the work December 17,18, or 19. I called Daren again on December 17, and at that time, he was no longer sure they could complete the work that week. Someone named Star called me and let me know that they wouldn't get the supplies in on time. At that point, I was done and asked for a refund of my deposit. I now need to find someone else who can complete my project in a very short amount of time. They had over two months from the initial contract to get things done, did not keep me informed of where they were in the process, and apparently did not order the materials until the last minute. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

At first I thought there were a handful of lapboards that needed replacing, but a good general contractor looked and said it would take $35k to do all the work the house needed.
Cory came out and looked, then said the problem was not just a few boards - and explained Why !! When he explained what to look for, I could see it for myself.
I had the option to do the work in stages, but Cory suggested a plan that allowed me to have the whole job fine at once.
Milton was the lead installer and carpenter, and he was super: an experienced and thorough craftsman throughout, and very approachable. He kept me up to date on progress.
The painter was just as meticulous, and at the end the house looks Terrific !!!

Excellent all the way around. We had two hail-damaged sides of our house replaced, including two windows. They listened to what we needed, priced reasonably, worked with insurance, did high-quality work, and every person involved was a genuine pleasure to work with. Highly recommended.

Prompt, courteous, professional. Best experience ever. Fantastic work done quickly. My mom's house looks amazing and they quickly started the project in a difficult time for our family to stop the water leaking onto rhe basement from bad siding. I will use them for my own home next!

After an Awful experience with another company, I called around for quotes to repair/replace my siding & gutters. Tom, our sales person was patient and honest. He had made 3 trips to our home to discuss the project. Cory, the owner gave us his personal cell phone number for any questions. Paul, the project manager and Mario the crew leader communicated throughout the project as additional issues were brought to our attention. The crew was thorough and cleaned up each day before leaving. They treated our home and property as if it were their own. Starr & Jeanine were pleasant to work with and if they were unable to answer our questions they were able to get us in contact with the right person. I wholeheartedly recommend Koalaty Siding for a complete siding job including gutters! They beat the other companies in price, quality and service.
