TLDR; go somewhere else for service work, they say they did the work on my truck and lied. They work had not been finished.
I came down to Knox Ford to have a routine service done, get my tires rotated, and have the exhaust sensors replaced. I made an appointment to have them get started as soon as they opened at 7:30 a.m. I was there for my scheduled appointment, and they did not have anyone there to work on it until about 9:00 a.m.
I was then informed that they would need probably need to keep it overnight, even though I was told that it would be done same day if I scheduled the appointment for early morning.
The communication from their service department was horrible. All I asked was to keep me updated with what the status of my truck was. But I kept having to call to find out what was happening to my truck.
Then as 5:00 p.m. was coming up I called again to be told that it had taken them 3.5 hours to replace one sensor and that they hadn’t done anything else yet. But everything would be finished the next morning by 9:00 a.m.
I called down the next morning, and was told that it was not finished yet. That they were doing the scheduled maintenance and would be finished soon.
I called again about an hour later and was told that they were still working on the truck and had to rotate the tires still. But they would have their shuttle service come by to pick me up, after I reminded them that I would need a ride back to their shop “because they didn’t have any loaners available” (the back lot had five lined up, I looked).
So finally they let me know that my truck is done; that they did the service, replaced the sensors, and rotated the tires.
As I go to pay I asked where the paperwork was for the completed service, but it was all blank. Then I asked if they had done the transmission and radiator service, nope. Then I asked what had been done, had they at least gone through and done the multi point inspection. They said yes.
I then payed, walked out to my truck, and saw that the valve stem covers on my tires were still broken. But if the multi point inspection had been done, the tires would have been checked and the valve covers would either be changed or replaced.
I walked back into the service counter, to see why it had not been done. And if the inspection had actually been completed. Nope. They just put that it had been done and never bothered to do all of the service work that I had gone to them for in the first place.
I left their service department and went down to another local mechanic to have everything double checked, I’m glad I did. They’re still checking everything, but so far the alignment is off and all the tires were 15 psi under inflated.

Don't. This place was sold to Don Franklin Auto Group and it's been upgraded to a real three ring circus. Call a week ago to get a speed sensor replaced. Told them what to do. Scheduled me for a week later, I presume because they're ordering parts. Then got there and they acted like they didn't know I had an appt. Told me I was on for tomorrow, despite receiving their automated email and calendar reminder. One of the techs quickly sent me to another tech when they realized it was a warranty issue. They asked me to blindly sign something so I didnt have to wait for their printers to come back online to sign the actual work order. Told me they call in a day or two. What?!? Said that my 830p was pushed back becuase people with later apps used the night drop box. And that I'd have to pay for their hour long diagnostic that my appt was no go for. Book says 2 hrs for my repair, they want two days and money for a warranty issue. I took my key back and left.

Dylan Walden in the Quick lane at Knox Ford is the go to guy. The whole quick lane is amazing. I'd go here for anything maintenance that's needed on my vehicle. Ford or not.

If I could give zero stars I would. I took my car here a couple of months ago. I had them run diagnostics because they said they needed to figure out if the rattling my car was making was the starter or battery. They said it was the starter not the battery. Got a new starter. Took my car home, the next day it wouldn't start because my battery was dead. Had to go pay more money to get a new battery put in! My husband asked if there was a known issue with the rattle because he swore he had read about it. The dealership said no known issue. Now here we are months later and the rattle is still happening. I took my car to Charlie's Service Center (not even a Ford place) and they told me there was a TSB about this issue right off the bat!!! If you need a reliable service place choose Charlie's over KNOX FORD! Now I will have to replace the rattling issue to the tune of almost 4K that could have been done months ago.

So if u know what a GSA(basically a civilian vehicle assigned to the military) is then this post may make sense. If not, well I wouldn't bother reading it. The 2018 Ford Transit van (GSA) was missing a vent on the floor of the 15 pac van. Had to get it replaced. The parts dept was SUPER nice but the original price given was $3,600. I do NOT blame the service man. I watched him click buttons for over 20 min BC a simple missing vent required the replacement of the entire carpet(according to the computer program). We both gasped (if u ever signed for a GSA u understand completely) anyway after a long time of him not accepting that price he found the part for $34.00
My complaint is for FORD in general. The vent for the floor was not listed under the floor tab. The service guy explained the reason it took so long was the part was found in a completely different area that didn't make sense (like seat belt accessories or something like that) anyway kudos to the serviceman who refused to charge a military member 3k for a $34 part and for looking more in depth. But a bad set up for the Ford company. The actual Ford dealership was small but very friendly and very nice
Parking was a little challenging but I managed.

We purchased our truck last Thursday. Everyone was very nice and the truck is awesome.

UPDATE: The truck was sold with a LIFETIME POWER TRAIN WARRANTY stated in a legal binding contract. Since the dealership was sold (still a Ford dealership), they will no longer honor the warranty.
We'll definitely be reporting this to the Attorney General's office, Better Business Bureau and possible a consumer protection attorney.

Don't use them for service. They are con artists. They tried charging me for an engine when it was a soleniod. They took my catalytic convertor off and didn't reinstall it when I told them no!! I'm not paying 2000.00 to change it. Then after talking to Eric he tried blaming a previous shop and said they didn't work on it but I have paperwork showing the work done and the bill paid for the inspection.

I just purchased a vehicle with this company & they have definitely made it a great experience working with a dealership, I got a great deal on a vehicle I've wanted for years & a great deal on the vehicle I traded. The process was smooth, everything was updated with the vehicle before purchase. The person I worked with directly was Micah & he was very kind & transparent. It didn't feel like one of those dealerships that are just there to make a dollar. 10/10 would definitely recommend this dealership!

I took my husband's truck in for service. We have a "Premium Service Plan" (what was written on my ticket). I specifically requested and named each thing we wanted done that was supposed to be covered under our service plan, well it didn't happen. What really ticks me off is I went to this specific dealership because of good reviews of there service department. I know nothing about servicing a vehicle but I have enough sense to know that you should at least have a checklist and USE IT! The amount of money that you pay for these service plans and these dealerships can't even follow it. Now we have to do and pay for the service that should have been done and was covered under the plan we have already purchased. From what I understand Ford reimburses these dealerships for the work done. Shame on Knox Ford, big failure on your part. We will not be back for service or to purchase a vehicle. These are the dealerships that give Ford a bad name. Thank God they are not the assembly line.

Absolutely terrible place. Snakes in the grass. Sold me a car and did not disclose how it had a MAJOR accident with 3k miles on it. All I got was “clean title!” Little did I know (months after purchasing) that the vehicle I bought had been wrecked and had the airbags deployed in it—SIGNIFICANTLY bringing down the value of the car. I paid full market price for a car that was half the value I paid for it. This is where my hard-earned money goes? To an egregiously marked up vehicle that was not disclosed having a major accident in its history? Never going back to them again.

The vultures attack quickly, circling, looking for their chance. I was there for an oil change & looking around the lot. They got me, high pressure, ignored my telling them that I wasn't going to buy until I pay my current ride off. He even called me the next day.

As we all know, going to any car dealership seems to extremely painful for most of us. At 32, I’ve been around many car salesman’s but not one that made me feel comfortable or cared to listen to our opinions, wants, and needs. Knox Ford of Radcliff is the place to go.

We did not feel pressured to buy, much less purchase a specific vehicle. My husband and I went in and left within a few hours. We traded in our ‘20 XLT Explorer for a ‘23 Explorer Timberline. Not only did we get such a beautiful car that was an upgrade from our 2020, BUT the payments on our new car is less than the car we traded. Isaac Lord is the man to speak to and the man I’d recommend to anyone. Kevin Goss (sales and finance manager) took care of us as well and answered every single question we thrown at him.

If we had to go back in time and choose a dealership again we’d choose this one a million times over. One thing I appreciate just as much as our new beautiful timberline is a great conversation and I’ll admit it, we had our fair share of laughs which is unheard of in a dealership for me.

A HUGE thank you to Randy for helping us out tremendously when it came to us and our vehicle getting fixed. Honestly do not think things would have turned out so well without him! We had a problem with our vehicle that we weren’t prepared for, and so we turned the car in on Thursday so it could be looked at the following Tuesday (The soonest they were able to get me in). They were able to quickly diagnose and fix majority of it Monday morning and then fixed it all by Tuesday afternoon! Randy was able to give me a ride home that Thursday and was super generous and helpful and got us a great price on getting our car fixed! Also thank you to Angel and Donnie with the advice on the situation and just genuinely helping us, and of course to Brendon for being the tech that worked on our car! If you want an honest dealership to take your car to, this is the one! :)

Poor attention to detail. We came in for their fast lube service and after leaving my wife mentioned that our vehicle sounded louder than it did prior to the service, and I agreed it did seem louder. When we got home, I opened the hood and found the engine air filter was not reinstalled, I assume they removed it to inspect it but never reinstalled it properly and left the air filter housing cover off. The people were very friendly and helpful but the lack of attention to detail will make me think twice about using them in the future.
We also have a Ford factory maintenance plan that covers all the cost associated with routine maintenance, the gentleman never bothered to look into the system to see if any of it was covers and just proceed to bill us for it, I would think it would be a standard procedure to see if the vehicle was covers by a factory maintenance place prior to billing the customer for it.

Called on 4/12/23 to make a recall appointment for 5/1/23. After scheduling the recall work I asked about getting an oil change, tire rotation and coolant flush. The lady told me they can do it at the same time and she added that to my appointment and confirmed it back to me. I dropped my car off on 5/1/23 and was told that I did not have an appointment. The lady blamed it on being new and recent system upgrade. She did not try to correct the situation as it was clearly not her problem. Will never go back. Terrible customer service and poor management.

Bought my husband a truck from him and had an AMAZING experience. We brought our toddler with us and they were just as great with him! There was none of the usual hassle or anything. They went above and beyond to get us the truck we wanted. Would definitely buy from them again!

I had got a 2012 ford fiesta from Knox ford 2 months ago and weeks of driving the car it had no heat it was my fault for not checking good when I had test drove it but for a month it's been in the shop and every few weeks to go and check on it and Monday 02/06 had stop by and said that the part came in and the car will be ready the next day and not call so I'm giving them tell next week Monday if the car is not ready I not pay no more so people that's on here say good service that's a lie because if so why me or they know the car had problems and for me to take it back to them and keep the car and make me pay for a car that want happen to me I was not mad but now I am mad and i will not deal with Knox ford ever again when I get it back and will work on the car myself from now on

I had a flat tire and came in to get help. Instead of putting air in it and suggesting options I may have. They automatically told me oh you have 10 air in it you can make it down the road (roughly a mile away) to an overpriced tire shop because they were "too busy". Every time I come here even for an oil change for my Edge they have a long wait (doesn't matter if you come in as soon as they open). I do not recommend this Ford. When my light came up I should've gone to the Ford away from home in Elizabethtown they are way friendlier and more helpful...

Up for debate. About my Ford, I'm heading back to Ford to fix my left door. It's not aligned. Got a full service oil change and they did not put in windshield fluid. But, Ford did a good fixing my initial problem. Three doors could not open for the inside. They just need to tweak a couple of things.

Don't waste your time or $$$ !! We took our F150 for repairs and they said there was a water leak that caused electrical damage we waited over 5+ months for parts (Backorder) ok fine it's out of their hands.. upon getting the parts had to keep waiting to get the truck fixed took around 30 more days .. but that's not what makes me upset!!!! I pay over 2k+ to get the problem fixed (WE DIDN'T GET FREE SERVICE.. WE PAID FOR A SERVICE) and 1st day it got 30° the windshield that was replaced as well leaked and it was loose I can FEEL air coming in while driving!! (HOW DANGEROUS AND UNSAFE) .. how is this possible??? When it rained they were water dripping onto the dashboard ?? After 4 weeks of excuses!! Yes, excuses that the glass guy had an emergency... the glass guy is not available today blah blah.. made 4 trips to the dealership and always a waste of time (was told to stop by and drop off the truck ) 1st trips guy didn't show up today 12/13/22 upon dropping off the truck again was told the guy didn't order the windshield! What?? waste of my time...
Oh yeah Mr. Randy you as a manager/supervisor could have done better on following up !!!!!!! You think?

I HIGHLY recommend this dealership. I was very skeptical of dealers with the supply chain issues and just overall previous experiences and this dealership eased every single worry I had. They were communicative from the start, very transparent with everything, and even had multiple follow up opportunities, just to make sure I was satisfied with my new Ford Maverick purchase. I cannot recommend this dealership enough. ASK FOR DONNIE!!!! Through and through, he was honest and helpful and exactly what I needed throughout the process. I have been talking to everyone about my experience there non-stop, and they have already made me a lifetime customer for the next time I want to be a new vehicle!

Took my Ford F-150 for a repair on solenoids. Service dept quoted me $1300 for the repair. I took the truck to a different mechanic shop to get a second opinion, and they said the job would take about 3.5-4 hrs to do. Their quote was $450. Knox Ford was essentially going to charge me $360 per hour. The parts were about $180. That is outrageous and highway robbery.

Great service from a great group of folks. Update, came back for my 2nd F150 purchase and had a fantastic experience. Donnie Brown assisted me with my purchase and was on top of every aspect of the transaction. He was ready with two trucks to check out upon my arrival. I'll definitely be back again. Thanks folks.

Truck was acting funny to it in they couldn't get to it right away so they gave me a ride home. Couple days later truck was fixed and they came back to get me to go pay for it and pick it up. Lucky for me I had the money to get it fixed.
