I would like to thank Mr. Knoll, his son Kyle and crew for an outstanding job. They completed my tree cutting job that someone abandoned and ground out the stump. He and his crew were very polite, professional, respectful of property and left my front yard in better shape than when they started. There was even a special mat used to protect the grass during the stump grinding. I highly recommend this company with it's strong work ethic and fair prices. Truly a cut above everyone else.

We closed on our brand new house on Friday and a tree fell on it on Tuesday the following week. The storms were terrible and the tree guys were so busy. We called Knoll and they came out immediately even though they had been working all day. They went above and beyond on every single aspect of our disaster. Not only did they take the MASSIVE cherry tree off of our house, but they did so without further damaging the roof, and even tarped the roof super diligently after. They even left us some firewood after they got done cleaning up all evidence of the tree. They did everything with smiles on their faces and made sure to help us remember stuff for insurance. I will never call another tree company again. Thank you so much for everything!

I needed four ginormous trees in four different very awkward locations, removed. They were looming over buildings, adjacent to electrical wires, up hills, on edges. Every single one, large and so awkward.

Knoll & Sons were incredibly pleasant, professional and great to work with… well, I didn’t do any of the work, but they sure as heck did, and I did get a ring side show to some fascinating and intricately choreographed work.

When they say ‘you won’t know they were there,’ they mean it. Every evening for four days, the street, the alley, the yard, everything looked cleaner and better than when they arrived that morning. As to their note about treating your things like their own… my beloved one of a kind yard swing, hand created and welded by my grandfather for my grandmother, was gently moved even more in the clear than I had done, and put back in pride of place, at the end of the job.

THIS IS BY FAR the BEST tree removal choice I could have ever made! After an unexpected tree fell on my garage roof, I called Knoll & Sons Tree Service. Mr. Stan Knoll came out within an hour to give me the best of 3 quotes which included removing ALL the debris. When I called him 2 days later to schedule the work, he was able to come out the same day after his last appt. The clean-up was exceptional! For the massive size of the tree, they left “zero” remnants that it had even been there. His crew worked hard the entire time they were there and were very professional and respectful to me and my property! They were able to complete this big job in less than 2 hrs! Thank you to Knoll & Sons for your exceptional rates and taking care of this unexpected clean-up! Going foreword, I will only call Knoll & Sons for any of my tree care needs and removal projects!! Stan and his crew Removed nine diseased spruce trees from my property today and they did an excellent job! Not only did they work safely and efficiently, they thoroughly cleaned up all remnants afterwards. I believe I was charged a very fair price. Five stars!!!

These people R by far, the BEST !! I called other places , they never even called me back . I called Knolls, I got to talk to a live person , not a machine, she sent the owner out that day , between 4:30 & 5 :00 .I could tell right away this was a professional , he really knew the business. I needed 2 trees removed . 1 on Ogden St. & 1 on Ohio street. I was really concerned about that one. It was between the house , and Ohio St. It was next to telephone poles, cable wires, etc. very tricky spot. I have a sprinkler system , & wires going to the house . The tree was over 100 foot tall. about 10 foot around. The owner Stan & son Kyle took the tree down , not 1 problem !!! They also ground the stump down , below root level , & filled it in . They cleaned the front & back yard supper clean, removed everything. They gave me a Great price. The team of 5 men , Stan-owner, Kyle , son , & 3 others Ed, Ron, & mike , worked very synchronized . They all worked perfectly together. I never seen such team work B4 !! They all helped each other, do a fantastic job . safely . They fit together like pieces of a jig saw puzzle, PERFECT !!
They tied off each piece & lowered it down by rope. no damage what so ever, I was truly amazed .I watch the whole process of front tree , & back tree, & 2 stumps. It was very interesting to watch the geometry of how they roped , cut , & lowered the trees, also how the removed the stumps . This is the team you want , 4 any kind of tree business. been in business over 50 years & it shows !! some places come & give you a estimate , then send out a crew of strangers to do the job, they act like they never worked together b4... no boss , b4, during , or after the job 4 any kind of inspection !!! not Stan & crew !! I called them asking if they could rescue my cat. They did!!!! With how high up my cat was in the tree they were unsure if they were gonna be able to reach him. They tried anyways and were able to do it successfully. They did an amazing job rescuing him.

Stan and his crew were awesome from start to finish. We called Stan due to a massive tree branch that fell near our home. He came the same day to give estimate and the next day came back with a 4 person crew to remove limb and clean everything. We had a dying tree in a precarious location. It would require a surgical dismemberment to bring it down without doing damage to the house, shrubbery and vinyl fence beneath it.
It was an excellent removal!

However, more impressive was the work ethic of the four man crew. They even cleaned the wind blown debris off of the roof of our house. To me that’s unprecedented.

Sent Stan a message at night about a leaning/uprooting pine tree near power lines. Also maybe taking down another pine next to it. He called the next day and came right over. He looked at trees and said they were both diseased, can’t remember with what but he knew right off. He didn’t like the lean towards the power lines and wanted to do it right away. And right away he did. The next day, while I was at work. Came home to both trees gone and except for the smell of fresh cut wood, stumps cut low to the ground and very little sawdust you wouldn’t know there had been trees there. Stan was a pleasure to work with, very professional, obviously very knowledgeable about trees and did a fantastic job. While he was here for the estimate, without prompting, he looked at a big maple I have (knew it was a silver maple at a glance, with no leaves out yet) and declared it good, so one less worry. Also told me it was a city tree as he had trimmed it for the city years ago so any future problems would be on them. Very good to know. And best of all, his quote came in at half of what another local company wanted. Highly recommend.

I originally requested a quote on trimming my huge oak tree and removing a pine tree last summer. Mr Knoll came out gave me a quote to remove my pine tree and suggested I remove another tree. He said he would not trim my oak tree until after November or before April. I said ok. He came out and removed the two trees and did a great job, but he will not respond to my calls about trimming my oak tree. He did answer once and said he would stop by that day to give me an estimate. He never showed. Once his wife answered and said she would have him call me. He never called. I have tried several times to get hold of him since last November. I would give 5 stars for the removal of the two trees, but zero stars for not responding about trimming my oak tree.

They came to give me an estimate and I liked the price and agree the guy told me he was going to call me to let me know when they were going to remove the tree and never did and I try to call and left a message and they never answered I’m so disappointed

It was quite amazing to watch Stan get up in the trees on ropes and remove large branches from two very large trees. No large equipment was used, just ropes and skill. They did an excellent job. Looked at tree on Friday and cut tree down on Monday. Tree was split. Stan made it a priority to cut tree before it fell on road. His workers were very polite and kept busy. Stan is the man. I highly recommend Knoll and Sons.

Stan and his team were just amazing. From the moment Stan stopped by to give me a (very reasonable) quote for the job and his crew showed up first thing in the morning a few days later just as promised.

The tree in quesiton was a 100+ year old Red Oak that never learned to grow straight and every single branch leaned towards or over our house. My wife and I were very nervous to have this tree removed until Stan's crew showed up. They instilled confidence as they sent the boom into the air and rigged the ropes, while making quick work of the removal.

We cannot say enough good things about Stan and his wonderful talented crew! We received excellent advice and value. We had several trees trimmed, including one over grown gigantic 90 feet tall sleeping Willow. It was fascinating to watch the crew use their big spider lift and skills taming this wild beast of a tree! Very professional. Highly recommend!

We had two large limbs fall during a severe thunderstorm this week.
One on our front wooden deck and one on our roof.
The one on the deck was huge and roughly 48 feet long.

I have hired Knoll & Sons Tree Service to remove several trees in my yard in the past. I had 46 very large tall oak trees in my yard and now Im down to 26. Live on a city1/2 lot so 46 trees was way to many. I had these trees removed over time and each time all other trees were topped off. Stan and his men didnt bring any heavy equipment in my yard , so my yard was never tore up. They climbed each tree to trim, and climbed, cut then roped off trees to remove.
