Ron and his team did an excellent job on our roof after last year’s hail storm. I would definitely recommend them.

We highly recommend Ron, Alec and team. We received their name from a home remodeling firm with a great reputation in St. Louis. K-MAC replaced our roof and skylights and installed gutter covers. Here are a few reasons why we have such a favorable opinion of their firm:

-Super responsive. These guys got right back to us when we had questions and this happened all throughout the process - not just before we hired them.

-Satisfaction. They clearly were intentional about making sure we were satisfied along the way. Ron was very patient and spent a generous amount of time at the very beginning of the process answering numerous questions from us. Also, as the job was being completed they sent us regular text messages with pictures of the progress they were making.

-Strong customer service skills. Ron and the manager of the job, Alec, both relate well to customers. A lot of firms may have good sales people but then when they show up to do the work the people there have no interest in relating to the customer. Instead, Alec was very friendly and accommodating. It’s also worth mentioning that he was very kind and relational with the workers. Our son made this observation in just a few minutes of hearing them working on the roof.

-Clean up. They very thoroughly cleaned up the site at the end of the job.

Payment. FYI: The full payment is due on the day the work is completed.

We had an all around good experience working with K-MAC and have no reservations about recommending them for roofing work.

Ron was great to work with. He was able to quickly diagnose and explain the situation during his inspection. Apparently squirrels had eaten the seal around my vent pipes. The repair looks great and I look forward to not worrying the next time it rains. Highly recommended!

WOW!!! EXPERTISE, INTEGRITY, PROFESSIONALISM, and KINDNESS. I knew when I purchased my first house last year that I had attic ventilation problems. I did not know, however, the immensity of the challenge of properly ventilating the 1927 construction design. A trusted contractor told me that many roofers are a little shady, and after soliciting bids from and talking with seven (yes, 7!) roofing companies, I understood why he told me this. Ron Russelburg of K-Mac Roofing was the standard of class in that group, and unbelievably helpful and generous with his time and expertise. Rather than telling me what he thought I wanted to hear with some low-ball bid for a couple of turtle vents and/or a ridge vent, as most others did, he told me the truth: My roof could not be properly ventilated because it could not get enough of a draw due to the pitch of the roof. Now, one could completely dismantle the eaves of my house and redo the roof to attempt for the best ventilation setup, but the previous owner had put a new roof on the house six months before I purchased it and opted not to do any ventilation, leaving the problem for the future buyer (me!). Not cool. I wasn’t about to rip off a perfectly fine roof. I opted to do the expensive option of spray foam insulation (from Foam Engineers, who were awesome!!!), which seals off the attic, because ripping apart the roof for traditional ventilation and insulation would have cost more. I even consulted with an expert who does training seminars on ventilation to roofing companies, and he thought this was the best path for my roof.

Ron came to my house and spent over 1.5 hours inspecting my roof from all angles and talking to me about his assessment, knowing beforehand that I had no intention of hiring him to do any roofing work because if I did so, I would have voided the warranty of the roof the previous owner had installed. (He had also spent at least 30 minutes on the phone with me before his visit.) Of course, a good business person cares about referrals and future business, but Ron went way beyond trying to earn business. (And let’s be clear: He doesn’t need more business given how busy his company is!). He took the time to help educate a new, highly analytical and highly anxious homeowner, trusting I would make the best decision for my house for the long-term. Because of all the information I had gathered from other roofers and my own research, I knew Ron was telling me his best assessment of my very challenging roof. His business savvy and roofing expertise are conspicuous. But his kindness is clear to me as well: He cared about helping me, a guy he had just met, with a very stressful problem. Integrity, expertise, and kindness are increasingly rare qualities, so when I find them in others, I want to share that with everyone!!!

Most of us homeowners don’t know that much about roofs and ventilation, so we rely on experts. Not everyone who can install a roof, however, is an expert. Ron Russelburg of K-Mac Roofing is an expert of integrity, so you need to hire him, and tell anyone who needs roof work to hire him as well!!!

While we were on vacation our home’s roof sustained damage from a toppled tree as a result of severe wind/storm event. Once notified of the incident I reached out to KMAC Roofing from the state of Washington. Ron Russelburg, the owner immediately became my advocate and liaison in dealing with the insurance company. He met with the adjuster and pointed out that in addition to storm damage there was also hail damage. The insurance company agreed with Ron’s assessment and authorized a full roof replacement.
KMAC gave me a start date, showed up promptly and worked diligently for 11/2 days until the job was complete. The roof looks fantastic and was installed in accordance with the latest building codes of my municipality. I have great respect for KMAC Roofing and recommend them without reservation.

Great experience with K-Mac! I had new roof installed and repair done to an area which had deteriorated badly. Price was competitive and fair. Questions were welcomed and responses accented their knowledge and professionalism.They kept me in the loop during installation by texting verbal explanation and pictures of roof at that particular time. This was done at each stage of progress. Cleanup was amazing as well. They even used a magnet to find and dispose of any dropped nails/metal debris.

If you are looking for the cheapest job, don't call KMAC. If you are looking for someone to do it right, do it well, be thorough and use good products then KMAC is where it's at. They were prompt in call backs, doing an inspection, getting a bid and scheduling the work. They were professional and thorough in their explanations of what all could occur, what was out of their control and what to expect. I feel very good about the work they did. But, you do pay for good quality work. They will not be your cheapest bid, but they may be your best work

I really enjoyed working with KMac on our roof repair. The whole process was seamless. Ron was very friendly and professional, from estimate to install.

Wonderful service and quality of work. K-Mac goes the extra mile and it shows. Ron and Alec made sure I was informed throughout the whole process - even sending me pictures along the way showing me that the work was being done right. It really put me at ease knowing the roof replacement was being done correctly and with such attention to detail. Most roofing contractors out there wouldn't take the time or extra effort to do that. You wouldn't know about any defects from poor workmanship until the job is done and they are long gone.

Very happy with repair work to my leaking asphalt shingle roof. I have a steep pitched roof in the CWE that is difficult to access, but repairs were completed without problems. Outstanding service and work. Job was thorough and professional. Supervisor, Alec, stayed on site to answer all questions and perform complete walk through at the completion of the job. The quality is outstanding and so is the workmanship. They might not be the cheapest but you get what you pay for and they deliver top quality roofing.
