Quality work and Great people! This is the second time I have worked with Zykan Exteriors and both experiences have been top notch. The office personnel are always so help and kind and the field crews are as well. They all answered my many questions and explained things down to the details. Their follow through was always as stated and timely. I will definitely utilize them again if the need arises. Thanks to everyone there at Zykan for a great experience!

We have been attempting to reach Zykan for weeks now to have our roof inspected after heavy storms. I still don't believe anyone has come out, despite saying they would be here on two different days. Additionally, when I call the office, I continuously get the runaround that they don't know who is in management or on the crews (and one time I was lucky enough to listen to someone in the office talk about their lunch plans to a coworker while I was on "hold"). Additionally, they claim my warranty is no longer in effect after the third week of trying to reach them (why they couldn't say that the first day, I'll never know). I believe I'd be better off putting a tarp on my roof as opposed to waiting on Zykan to do their jobs.

Edit after owner response: I agree you mentioned that the warranty was not transferred to myself upon purchasing the home. Why that took two weeks to notify me, as opposed to when you reviewed my file, I will never know. Why management reached out to Alejandro as opposed to myself regarding the warranty, I will never know. Why Alejandro never reached out to me regarding when he would arrive and all contact was initiated by myself, I will never know. Additionally, he had said he would arrive on 4/7 (which I verified with him on 4/7). I understand you have a busy schedule, but the lack of communication is unacceptable. I refuse to remove the review, as the reviews are for others to understand customers experience and this has been my experience.

We had significant hail damage to our roof, siding and gutters. Denny at Zykan was great helping us navigate the insurance process making sure no damage was missed. They were easy to get ahold of and very responsive. Their work crews showed up when promised and were professional. They were very communicative about what to expect every step along the way. I highly recommend Zykan.

We had significant damage to our home (roof, siding, gutters and downspouts) after a hail storm and Zykan Exteriors provided excellent customer service and performed quality work from start to finish. They helped with the communications with our insurance company and made the entire process as painless as possible. We would certainly hire Zykan again if needed!

They put a roof on right before we bought our house. Was told the warranty would transfer to us. Well….we have water damage and the guy they sent out to look at the roof told us we had significant hail damage so it voided the warranty. We called another company for a second opinion and they said we didn’t have any hail damage at all. The “repair” the zykan person did actually ruined more shingles and when they originally put the roof on they did it wrong. For three years water has been running down the wall, ruining our kitchen ceiling and ruining other drywall and insulation. They will not accept fault and we are out thousands of dollars in repairs. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! They will take your money and not hold themselves accountable. Two other companies said it was horrible workmanship and done wrong. RUN AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!

The experience with Zykan eXteriors STL has been nothing short of amazing. The team at Zykan know what they're doing at every step of the way. Everything has been great with Zykan eXteriors STL. My home was damaged in the May hailstorm in Saint Charles, and Kaleb with a K was able to navigate me through the entire process. I received a flyer from Zykan in the mail shortly after a hail storm came through my area & I’m so glad I did! I had 3 roofers come out to my home & I knew within minutes that Zykan would win my business. Although no work has been performed yet on our house Kaleb Mitchell and team at Xykan have been persistent with contacting State Farm to get them to review the settlement. They have also reached out to me personally every 7-10 days to provide an update. We are hopeful there will be a fair resolution but in the meantime we will continue to follow up with State Farm.

Kaleb and his team at Zykan Exteriors delivered an incredible experience with my recent residential roof repair. From the initial message after a hail storm, Kaleb was punctual and flexible with my schedule to meet and discuss the process and what to expect from the insurance company and also his company. Throughout the entire process, Kaleb was a great resource and assisted me with any questions or concerns. The office staff kept me informed between the time of the contract and the installation. After the work was completed, there were a few items for follow up. Kaleb responded within minutes and set an appointment outside of normal working hours that worked with my limited availability. This was my first home insurance claim, but Kaleb and his team remained professional and had strong communication from start to finish which lowered my stress levels. Zykan had an excellent sales rep come to our home and give us the complete layout of what they offer. His name is Kaleb (yes, with a K ;), and he is very professional, thorough, and knowledgeable. We received fast service for hail damage to our roof and a very fast approval for replacement. Upon demo of our existing shingles we were notified that most of our plywood was less than standard and they replaced those sheets up to standard recommendations.

The team in their office is very professional and we felt like priority one from start to finish! We even got to speak directly with the Vice President and he treated us like we are his number one customer! Very very satisfied! Beyond so actually! Trust in Zykan! They can do it!!

Zykan did our roof and replaced the siding on our entire house. Not gonna lie we can be annoying with our questions and requests. They met them all with a smile and did a fantastic job. I knew I needed a new roof after the 3/31/2023 storm after looking at the damage. I contacted my insurance & they gave a website of their approved contractors. I contacted it and only Zykan Exteriors responded. The sales team member also happens to be an adjuster with my insurance company so he knew both sides. Insurance sent the scope of work over and we reviewed it together while walking around my home. He was thorough and patient as he found anomalies on the scope that made sense. He also explained how a ridge vent would greatly benefit the problematic hot/cold zones we'd put up with for years. I hired Zykan on the spot. I needed a new roof, some siding, and gutters. The roofers came and removed the old roof and installed the new roof in 1 day as promised. Not only is it gorgeous; but I have never seen such a thorough clean up crew. When I saw the mess just prior to clean up at the end of the day, I rolled my eyes and thought 'Here we go again ' after a different siding company we hired in 2010 was done with their job. I'm still finding nails from 2010! Zykan's workers went so far as to pick through my dead peony bushes to find everything that shouldn't be there. The yard was immaculate! Zykan also excels with their communication. I used their portal extensively as it's seen by everyone so their turnaround time is exceptionally quick. When I had a question re: a cost adjustment, the vice-president explained it well and photos were attached. Zykan even went to bat for me when my insurance company wouldn't completely cover all the siding needed. Insurance then complied. In summation, I cannot thank Zykan Exteriors enough for treating my home as if it were their own. When I come home and see their beautiful workmanship, I close my eyes and thank God for putting Zykan's entire team on my path. I won't work with nor recommend any other company to work on my home in the future.

We had some recent storm damage that was minor (all things considered) and had called a few other local companies. Everyone wanted to quote us for an entire new side of siding - until Zykan Exteriors! They not only said they could do it, but were prompt in responding to the request and sent a team out within 48 hours. The team was friendly and it did not take them long to get the job done. It may have been just a small fix, but being taken seriously and not simply downplayed is a definite win in the book. Zykan Roofing
In January 2020 I hired Zykan Roofing to cover and waterproof a second story patio/deck. The water leak issue was immediately resolved. Unfortunately, due to a material defect, the surface material stained irrevocably. I called them in July 2022 preparing for a sale of the condominium. From the first phone call to resolution of the problem, they took ownership of the issue, stood by their work and committed to ensure customer satisfaction. They arranged for recovering of the stained material with a new material that would not stain and at no cost to either me or the new condominium owner. I cannot say enough about their commitment to consumer satisfaction or their integrity as a company. I would hire them without reservation for any roofing work.

Had Zykan back for some minor warranty gutter repair from a roof they installed 6 years ago - Nate & Fred were very responsive and honored their workmanship commitment even though it had been 6 years from the roof install - sent a very skilled tech (Rick) who did a great job getting everything ship-shape which was MUCH appreciated. Have also used the company on some Rental houses I own and have been super satisfied with their work - will definitely use again !!

Window lead time was disappointing and the screens were damaged in transit. Both issues were out of Zykan's control. Zykan communicated well throughout the project and responded quickly to replace the damaged screens. Their Installer was experienced and took pride in his work. Highly recommend that you contact them for an estimate.

Zykan replaced the siding on the front of my house that was damaged by another company while leveling my front porch. Although the job was delayed for longer than I anticipated due to supply chain issues getting the correct materials once they started it went exceptionally smoothly and results were excellent. Communicate was outstanding. Even after their part of the project was complete they texted to make sure that the company responsible for the original damage completed their portion of the repair. I would highly recommend this company.
