What people say about “Kline Construction & Associates Llc”?

Customer feedback is mixed regarding this company. Many reviews highlight the quality of the remodeling work and professional execution, with clients expressing satisfaction about timely project completion and effective communication. However, significant concerns have been raised about employee treatment, including low pay and lack of support for workers using personal vehicles, which detracts from the overall impression of the service provided. This disparity in experiences suggests that while some customers are delighted with their renovations, underlying issues with employee welfare could impact future service quality and customer perception.

Considering all these factors, I have come to the conclusion that I cannot support a company that demonstrates such a clear disregard for their workers. It is essential for companies to prioritize the welfare and satisfaction of their employees in order to provide exceptional service. Until this company takes the necessary steps to address these issues and show genuine care for their workers, I will not be able to support or recommend them.

1. Workers are underpaid, affecting the quality of service.
2. Lack of mileage reimbursement for workers using personal vehicles.
3. No provision of a company car for extensive driving tasks.
4. Rushed and subpar workmanship due to the expectation of completing jobs quickly.
5. Lack of appreciation for the hard work and dedication of employees.
6. Workers have to purchase their own equipment instead of being provided by the company.

Roger Kline, founder of Kline Construction, built a Little Free Library for me in 2013 that won design awards with the LFL organization. Then, when I decided to finally redo my kitchen, all my friends recommended Kline Construction. It was a no brainier to choose Kline.

I am so grateful that I went with this company! Terry and Dennis Kline helped me to refine my ideas. The demo started right on schedule, and the remodel finished on schedule as well. The project manager/cabinetmaker Jeff was so conscientious that nothing went wrong---at all!! Mess during the demolition was minimal. People have delighted in telling me horror stories about remodeling projects. I had the opposite experience. I won't say it was a dream--living through the banging, drilling, clatter and dust wasn't easy, and microwaving dinner in the dining/living room wasn't pretty, but all in all, my experience was wonderful. Kline's people are wonderful and pleasant and --hey, I love my new kitchen, and my two new closets, but I sort of miss having the guys around.

Service questions
1. Should I stay home during roof replacement?
+-

It's not necessary to stay home during roof replacement. Roofing work is noisy and can cause vibrations inside the house, which might be uncomfortable. Most homeowners choose to leave during major parts of the project, but our team ensures safety and keeps you updated, whether you're home or not.

2. How long does roof replacement take?
+-

The timeline for a roof replacement typically ranges from one to three days, depending on the size and complexity of the roof, weather conditions, and material type. Larger or more intricate roofs may take a bit longer, but we always aim for efficient, timely completion.

3. How to hire a roofing contractor?
+-

To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.

4. How to check if a roofing company is legit?
+-

Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.

5. How to choose a roofing company?
+-

When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.

6. How do you know if your roofing contractor is ripping you off?
+-

Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
