Mr. Bass was able to fit us into his schedule quickly and even let us know of an earlier appointment due to a cancellation. He was professional, and very thorough with lots of pictures. He caught things like a missing bolt on the attic stairs. His pricing is VERY fair for the time he takes to go through the homes and the detailed report he delivers after. His suggestion on how to fix things and what trade could fit it were so helpful. I will be recommending him to anyone I can.

We knew a lot about the house already, but we gained a lot having an expert examine it from the top of the roof to the crawlspace below and lots in between. We got a detailed report, two detailed consultations in person AND by phone, and a promise that we could get any of the hundreds of photos and measurements that couldn't fit in the illustrated 30+ page report.

We have used other inspection services over the years. This one cost more than the others, but I feel we got more consulting for our money than in the past.

We won't know until later if there are significant issues the inspection missed, because especially in an older house there's a lot that's been hidden, but we feel the detailed report helps us plan our next steps.

With the crazy market we had to buy our home sight unseen. In my former life I was building houses in AZ during the big boom. I didn't think I need to have a home inspection done on a new home. I figured the "warranty" would cover it. I looked they were a great builder and had good reviews. That being said things happen an no fault to anyone. We decided to have Kevin do the inspection and were surprised at how many little things he found and a couple of things we don't want to wait on. Kevin inspected a house we were under contract for. His inspections are very thorough. If you are on site with him, he will show you everything in the report and explain everything and even offer ideas for solutions that you can negotiate into a deal. Unfortunately this house did not pan out due to repair negotiations. In fact we are thankful Kevin did such a thorough inspection because we were able to avoid a money pit!

We were so impressed that he was the first person we called to inspect the other house we made an offer on. Same routine as last time, except that he drove out to the house during icy road conditions to make sure he made his arranged appointment. We did not request this, he just did it anyway.

As for the price, he was the most reasonable of our options and the realtors we dealt with view Kevin in high regard.

Even after inspection, you can reach out to him for ideas, questions, and in our case, he even helped us find a handyman to make some repairs on the house we are buying.
