Very disappointed. Came. Asked for quote. Never received. Week goes by. Contacted the estimater Andrew. Two days later owwww sorry forget let me get it over.....three days later. Finally get it. Set up time the next week....can't due to weather. I tell them when he texts to contact me the following Sunday to set up. 10 days later he texts. Been busy with weather. Sorry guys. But you can send 25 messages sitting on the toilet. No excuse to take over 10 days to message when we had a time set up. And give me the excuse of weather. I am chef. If my oven goes out I will give tenders for free. Sorry but if their work is an example of their calling back and customer service then I dont want them on my roof.

From the first interaction to the closing of the project,; personalized customer interaction. We first spoke with Will Craley, briefly. Next, that evening, we met with Andrew Samela, Roof Inspector. That very evening, we had a personalized plan based on our roof specifications. We also wanted our front porch demolished and replaced with aluminum columns, and were working with outside contractors. Andrew spoke with his team and developed a plan to make this a one-and-done experience. The entire experience was personalized. Project Managers stopped by numerous times to check on the crew as well as with us to ensure a great customer experience. The crew was very respectful of our property and did a great clean-up. The roof was complete in one day, and the porch within half a day, at our convenience. Andrew was our advocate and with us throughout the entire process, not just the deal maker, the customer experience ambassador.

I recently had my roof replaced and some window repairs completed by Ketchum, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the entire experience.

I first met the team while they were working on a neighbor’s house and was immediately impressed by the quality of their work. One of the crew members (Will, I believe) kindly informed me that they might need to access my yard to pick up debris, given how close our homes are. He even gave me a card in case anything was missed—an early and positive sign of their professionalism and attention to detail.

Later, I reached out to schedule an inspection and quote. Robert came by and thoroughly walked me through the process. He was friendly, professional, and patient, always available to answer questions and provide guidance.

I also had the pleasure of working with John for scheduling, materials selection, insurance coordination, and payment. Fendley handled the installation, and the crew on site was efficient, courteous, and did an outstanding job—not just with the work itself but also with the cleanup afterward.

After the installation, I had a few follow-up questions, and both Jason M and Mr. Ketchum personally reached out to make sure everything was addressed to my satisfaction and understanding.

From start to finish, this was a fantastic experience. The work is top-notch, the service was exceptional, and my new roof looks sharp! I highly recommend Ketchum to anyone needing roofing or repair work.

Ketchum Roofing just completed replacing my roof. I have a steep and tough roof complex and they did it well in just 2 days! Along the way they found damage to my siding and replaced that too! Jason, Fendley and Delfino and crew are outstanding! Highly recommend them!

In June of last year we had a hail storm and it hit my home straight on. I didn't think I had much damage until I started really looking at the house. Ketchum came and inspected it and the damage to the roof was severe. My windows on the front side of my house, the shutters, and the metal trim was pummeled. With Ketchum's help, I was able to get a claim filed with my insurance company and they were here when the adjuster came. I have to say, that working with my insurance and the Ketchum team, it was not a horrible experience. It was in fact, seamless. The work was done expeditiously and professionally. The level of communication between me, the insurance company and Ketchum was great. I cannot express my gratitude for the Ketchum team and the owner, John Ketchum. The roof looks great and my windows - wow!! I have photos, but can't figure out how to load them onto this message in Google. Take my word for it, the house looks wonderful!!

I would give them a thousand stars if I could! From start to finish everyone at Ketchum Roofing was professional and extremely clear about every step involved in repairing the storm damage. John Ketchum and crew just finished a maintenance project for Ellington Woods Phase 1 in Dunes West this week. In preparation for our annual insurance quote and to ensure our roofs were in good condition we called John Ketchum. His foreman came to our site twice, spent time with us explaining the scope of work and performed the task to our satisfaction. The crew arrived on time and did work throughout the day until the work was complete. They provide detailed pictures (before and after) so we can see the actual work performed. John Ketchum came to the site during the day to check on the crew and in my book when the owner shows up to make sure things are right, it gives you a sense that he cares about the performance of his guys and the satisfaction of his customers. We would highly recommend John and his team for your next project.

I was intimidated by the entire prospect of finding a company to replace my roof. I needed someone to walk me through the process and patiently answer all my skeptical, ignorant questions.
I needed someone to help me deal with my insurance company, preferrably someone with a good business relationship with the adjuster.
I needed someone to paintstakingly go over every financial detail with me and assure me I was in good hands.
And I needed a crew that arrived on time to professionally and courteously replace my 21-year-old, hail-damaged roof. In a day.
I didn't even know I needed someone to also find hail damage to my screens and siding and assure that those estimate were also covered.
I didn't even know I needed someone to return a few days later and carefully go over my driveway and yard to catch any stray nails and such.

Ketchum roofing recently replaced my roof after hail damage. During the install of the new roof I decided to get 2 skylights and replace the garage door. They did a great job across the board; sales, insurance claims, workmanship, quality of materials and accounting. A lot of flexibility, no pressure and good pricing. At the time of the hail storm I was out of state and would not be back until late Fall. I contacted the owner John Ketchum and from that point on the entire process was handled professionally, expeditiously and all without a glitch or me being at my home. Each member of his team from the owner to the installers were very pleasant and extremely helpful and knowledgeable.

From the moment we knew we had a problem I called them on a referral from another house they worked on and Andrew came out and checked my roof immediately. He was very professional and was up on the roof for awhile checking everything and was very sharp. He found proof where the hail had damaged my roof in multiple places. He took over and handled everything with my insurance company and was here with the man that came out and did the inspection. Made this process much easier than I ever thought possible. His Superintendent Fino was great to work with and walked all the way around the house with me and showed me every thing they did and they did a lot. When they finished you could not tell they had even been here. Our roof is so sharp and those edges just stand out. We were hesitating to just go with any of the random roofing companies that drove around our neighborhood. Luckily, we were able to come in contact with Andrew from Ketchum Roofing and Windows. He was personable and sincere, noting the current state of our home and future limitations that would be in place within the Low Country. He cemented his understanding as he worked with us as we contacted our Home Owners Insurance about the changes in pricing with our policy that we had yet to be notified about but were forthcoming, as he noted. He helped us address current issues that could lead to bigger issues internally as we worked with him and an appraiser to handle a quote on filing a claim in a short window. He made all the initial discussions and processes easy and was always willing to give his insight to anything we brought to his attention. Once we were approved, we were able to meet John Chase, who helped establish the scheduling and finances of the project. He was able to provide samples and made the selection and financial picture clear and straight forward. Before we knew it, we were on schedule for a week. Over the course of the last few days, we were able to have our new roof replaced under the guidance of Fendley and his colleagues. They were here on time and were professional in setting up our yard with tarps to avoid debris and nails in our garden, driveway, and yard. They even protected our windows around the home with plywood sheets, which even neighbors commented on as professional and would have provided a better sense of comfort they didn't even consider during their construction with other companies. Even as they worked in the heat of the hottest days of the year so far, they were well mannered and professional and always communicated each step along the way. Fendley even didn't mind the occasional break to show kids in the neighborhood the tools and answer questions about what they were doing and why. He made sure to survey the area and give his seal of approval on the job and the safety of having nothing left behind that could cause an injury or damage to the tires of our vehicles.

I was hesitant on getting my roof replaced because of all the horror stories I have heard from friends and coworkers. A friend referred me to Ketchum. I received a call from Chase and scheduled a meeting for him to do an inspection. After the inspection he filed the claim through my insurance, which was super helpful and convenient. He then came back out when the insurance adjuster scheduled his inspection. I then met with John to go over the contract, dates and shingle selection. The day of the replacement I met Fendley and the roofing crew and he talked me through the process. The crew was done that day. Following day I met with Delfino. He came to do the final inspection and clean up.

The roof work was completed in one long day which was great for not majorly disrupting schedules. Everyone was really helpful and thoughtful and the roof is quality. I would definitely recommend them.
