Kelbie helped us with our leaking roof. They gave us a great warranty and was super professional and timely. We called him and a few days later, the job was completed in one day. We'd recommend him and would use him again.

Mike Kelbie was responsive, thorough, knowledgeable, and the utmost professional — I contacted him with a really time-sensitive request to inspect a roof and he was there in TWO HOURS! I’m still stunned by his willingness to help us, his immediate understanding about the situation, and his ultimate expertise. He provided a report, photos, helped us age the roof for insurance purposes, and simply did a *full 5-star* job! I know that we will be working with him in future and as a realtor — I will be recommending him to all of my clients.

Had an extremely bad leak in my roof, talked to several roofers for quotes and even had one out to patch our roof. A couple days later we got more rain and the patch proved ineffective. When I talked to Mike he was extremely responsive and got me a detailed quote at a competitive price very quickly. While we were waiting for permits to clear he had someone out to patch my roof which actually held until they were able to complete the full replacement. Once the permit cleared he had a team out the next day. Took two days to do the replacement and Nestor who led the team was very communicative and clear the whole time, he answered all my questions, got the roof installed, and cleaned all mess. He even drove out to Baltimore to get the color shingle we wanted! We have had MAJOR rain and hail since the replacement and NO issues, extremely happy with the work. Highly recommend Kelbie Roofing.

WARNING/BEWARE- worst experience I've ever had with a contractor. Does NOT care about customer only cares about money. He came quick and quoted reasonably to replace my entire roof...come to find out he quoted so well because he was planning on holding me hostage while my roof was off. His crew removed all the shingles and then said he had to put plywood down in order to install the shingles. (A large section of roof was uncovered so it isn't like he wouldn't have known something like this ahead of time). He wanted over $6k (I had it done for under $2k paying help) to do this and I had to make a decision before the next time it rained. During the whole process he wasn't helping and was down right rude in his treatment of me. After all was said and done and we were waiting on the insurance company to make the final payment, he sent my bill to collections with additional fees. Mind you the bill would have been paid in under 30 days if he didn't try to scam me out of even more money. Now, I tried to reach out because I needed to get matching shingles for a section of the roof that needs repaired and he sends me another overdue bill and lets me know he won't bother helping me because of all the hassle he had to go through to get paid and threatens me with harassment. Wow...save yourself the trouble and hire a decent human being. Posted lies about me on his response to my yelp review...shows his true colors and how he will treat you. DO NOT USE THEM

Exterior painting project - Our house had some rotting siding and was in desperate need of an updated paint color. I called mike for a quote and he came out that evening. The price was reasonable, they were able to start the project very quickly, and the work turned out great. Martin, the project supervisor, was very good and made sure the work was done well.

We built a new home about 4 years now and the last 3 years whenever there has been major wind storms I needed a reliable and quick roofing contractor to come out to fix my roof issues right away. Kelbie roofing has been my go to contractor! Having a three story townhome makes it difficult to see exactly the extent of damage I have, but they get up there and provide photos for you to see the damage and then once granted permission to do the work they provide after photos well. This is the 3rd time I have called him as this is a yearly occasion with our "builder grade" roof quality and he will be sending a guy in the next day to repair the roof damage. Definitely recommend!!

Really wish we hadn’t had to call a roofer early on a rainy Saturday morning but, unfortunately, we had to prevent our bedroom ceiling from caving in with water. Mike Kelbie was on-site as soon as it stopped raining. He gave us an honest assessment and worked with us to make sure we knew exactly what needed to be done. The work was done quickly, cleanly, and looks great. I will definitely us Kelbie Home Improvement, Inc for all future home improvement needs.

This team did a great Job, I had 11 vent pipe covers that were degraded and in need of replacement. The team showed up, and spend most of the day doing quality work (on a scary roof). They took their time and did the job safely, and the final results work and look amazing. Quality Team - I would hire them again. Thanks !

I’ve had Mike Kelbie put on more than a dozen roofs over the years, because his crew does a great job for a fair price.

This is a one-star review for a very important reason, however... integrity. Mike sold me those roofs with 15-year warranties. 12 years later, when one develops a small leak, I call to ask for a repair and all of a sudden the warranties are only 3-year warranties.

Not cool, Mike. Not cool.

Michael was easy to work with. His crew came out promptly to clean the gutters and downspouts on our townhouse. The pictures they texted to me showed a job well done.

We had Kelbie improve our attic ventilation with smart vents and a fan last Summer. Their crew did an excellent job. We just had them back this past week to power wash the house, patio and driveway, as well as install a brand new gutter system. The crews all did a fantastic job and we're very pleased with the work!

I was very happy with the service for more than one reason.

First, they were slower than expected for the best possible reasons--they were taking extra time visiting various suppliers to get the best possible match for my siding. (The match they found was perfect!)

They also kept up good communication with me about what was going on, which helped me feel comfortable about the approach they were taking and what to expect in case it should rain before the job was finished. (It did rain--no problem!)

They took the time to do the job well, and the price was reasonable.

Inquired about gutter cleaning and power washing, got a very quick response and a quick quote from some pictures (which I found very convenient honestly). Got a couple lower quotes from other companies, but decided to follow up with Kelbie because they seemed to be quick to respond and were more local. I asked about matching the other quotes and was immediately met with hostility followed by a series of texts mocking me including a "you get what you pay for" meme as well as a threat of other companies sueing us without insurance. I was trying to stick with them because of the quick response and availability of quick service but I would not recommend this company after this experience, albeit without receiving any service from them.

Mike has been an incredible resource for us! We recently moved to the area and were struggling to find good, reliable service for things around the house! My first inquiry was about gutter cleaning and then I learned he has great people to do all sorts of stuff like window washing and external house repairs at very reasonable prices. Everyone who has come to the house has been exceptionally polite and very honest about home needs. I never once felt pressured or like they were trying to sell me something I didn’t need. I’m so happy I found my one-stop shop for house maintenance needs!

Kelbie roofing fitted my roof replacement into their schedule when no one else could! Not only were they quick, but the work was also of high quality at a reasonable price. I also appreciate how responsive they were with all of my questions and concerns. To sum it up, great job matched by great customer service. I will definitely consider them for future work!

Had an issue with a leak. Mike came out quickly and also discovered gutters were to small based on size and pitch of roof. During replacement found a bunch of spots original builders cut corners. New gutters look great, don’t leak and were installed quickly. I would use them again.

After a severe storm in which I lost over half of my flat roof I began to call several roofing contractors in attempts to get estimates. The more estimates I got the more I began to get extremely panicked. The prices that I got were unbelievable. Doing a google search I found Kelbie Roofing. After speaking with Mike he took his time and did a thorough inspection of my roof, chimney and the ceilings inside that had water damage. Mike gave me several options from a patch to a full replacement and the price was really fair and reasonable. Talking to Mike I could tell he was extremely qualified and knew exactly what he was talking about. There was no pressure he even advised if I wanted to get more estimates he would expect no less never go with just one or two estimates. Mike sat down with me and completely went through the entire process that would take place to replace the roof from start to finish. After speaking with Mike we decided that his knowledge and courtesy was the way we wanted to go. After signing the contract we set up a start date, the crew he sent showed up on that date on time ready to work. The crew was very courteous and professional, when they began to tear off the roof the crew made sure that my property on the side of the house where they were tossing the trash off and my wife's flower beds were protected. If I ever had a question during this process Mike and the crew never hesitated to answer the question being as this was my first time with such a large repair. The crew went above and beyond to make sure the job was completed properly and that it looked very good. From the tear off to the minor finishing touches I am completely satisfied with the job Kelbie roofing did for me and I will not hesitate to use them in the future. Thank you Mike.

Had a leaky roof with a line of thunderstorms just hours away. Kelbie answered the last-minute call and promptly arrived on site to perform the repair. Replaced a few shingles and gave good advice on maintenance. Work looked great and survived both the thunderstorms less than an hour later as well as a wind storm the next day. I would call them again for any future needs. Recommended!

Came same day and did a maintenance repair to my roof. Mainly had issues with the sealant around some vents and flashing. They redid all that and some other spots they found that I wasn't aware of. He also sent me photos of the work he did. Likely would call them for a roof replacement estimate once I get to that point.

Flat roof project in DC. In need of a replacement. They came out almost immediately after I inquired. Great price and even threw in a hatch… both combined still beat other companies’ prices for only the roof. Work is absolutely phenomenal and I will continue to use their company’s services. Mike Kelbie is a great guy to deal with, and easy going. He really cares about your property, and gives you honest advice. As far as the roofing job is concerned, he sent out a great crew that did a wonderful job. All the guys were great, and very respectful. They all were working hard in extreme heat. They made sure that the area around the job was covered up to avoid any damage to the house and plants in the gardens. Clean-up was immaculate; I have not found any nails so far.

Kelbie Roofing did an excellent job repairing my roof. I had some shingle damage after a recent wind storm that needed to be repaired before an inbound snow storm. I called multiple roofing companies and was told they could not do the repair for at least a week and they would charge to come look at the problem. Kelbie Roofing came out within the hour, the estimate was free, and the repair was done that day! I will definitely use Kelbie Roofing when the time comes to replace the roof. Mike came out on Christmas eve to replace my rubber roof that had a foot of snow on it. He was easy to get in touch with and helped answer a ton of questions.
