Called Mr. Wagner in the middle of the night frantic because power was out then my generator blew, it was 3 AM! The baby was crying and I didn’t know what to do. I came across his website called him and he came there no less than Maybe 20 minutes he was there and within the hour it was fixed everything up and running. 10/10 friendliness, professionalism, and the work was amazing. Will be re-hiring to change some lights in the house and add some ceiling fans. Also very affordable!! Best electric company I’ve ever used hands down.

Gage and his team were honestly a godsend! My partner and I bought a house in Biddeford 1 year ago and recently discovered a horrific cover up by the previous owner. Our living room subfloor was completely rotted out and failed. Gage and his team came in and gutted the whole thing down to bones and installed new joists, subflooring and flooring all in a few days. In addition they helped me add a window to room and renovated the deteriorating sidewall on the back of the house. This project had been weighing on me for months and I’m so glad I found Gage who jumped right in to get it done. The room looks so much better now and I’m so relieved! His team worked quickly and with high standards, navigating the quirks and crookedness that comes with old homes. His communication was top notch, extremely responsive, and he answered every single question I had (which was a lot). I would highly recommend these guys!

Gage and his crew cut a new hole in a barn to create a second garage door opening. He arranged for CMP, an electrical contractor, and city inspector. Basic work was done in about 4 hrs, with some follow up trim after the door was installed. Good job!

We moved to Saco last July and purchased a home that needed work. The last piece of the puzzle was removing an old deck and shed, and replacing it with a large deck. That goal was accomplished last week thanks to KCM Construction. Gage and his team completed a 16'x30', trex deck that looks amazing at a price that crushed other bids. To say I'm thrilled is an understatement. The only negatives were a longer than expected permit process, bad weather, and an order mishap from an outside vendor. Gage was responsive, caring, and made me feel my job was his top priority. He kept me informed throughout. His team even worked weekends so I can have a Spring/Summer of fun. KCM Construction recently completed a remodel of our backyard shed, including new roof (shingles) and exterior walls. They also gutted and refinished our interior with new insulation and sheetrock inside. They did a fantastic job and I'm pleased with the work! There were a few post completion punch list things that needed to be done and KCM Construction was ON IT! They came back and completed the punch list quickly and timely. Gage was fantastic at responding to our needs and was always quick with a return reply. Very happy with KCM Construction.

I would highly recommend Casey King Appliance. Called us right back within minutes and came the next day on a Saturday. He did not charge us an extra charge for a weekend and got us all taken care of with our washer. We are greatly appreciative and will certainly use again when needed in the future for any Appliance

We had Gage and team fully gut and renovate our master bath. Took about 5-6 weeks and came out great. Was even able to expand the footprint too in the process. Super communicative and easy to work with would recommend.

We used KCM construction for two smaller projects on our home recently. I appreciate that this contractor was willing to take on a smaller job and treated it as just important as larger jobs. He returned our calls and followed through with what he said he was going to do. his communication before during and after the process was top-notch. We have an old home that was built in the 1880s and he was able to work with the imperfections and odd angles that are inherent to old homes. We are very happy with the work he and his employees did.

Gage and his crew are professional and efficient. They go above and beyond to make sure their customers are satisfied. They never hesitate to make adjustments if needed. Highly recommend

Beware: Do Not use KCM Roofing!! Just had to have another roofing company fix everything Gage and his crew supposedly were such experts on. And when you try to call Gage he comes up with every excuse to not fix what he said was guaranteed.
I never post a review but this guy needs to be stopped. He cost my wife and I an extra 5 grand!!

Wow! My first opportunity to meet Gage was under pretty lousy conditions, which was during a horrible snow & ice storm. I saw his post for plowing & shoveling as a community service & I contacted him right away. He came out the day of the storm & was able to plow & shovel my back deck & a long walkway for my dog. I had a lot of ice dams so we discussed the remedy for that. He came again the next day after the same storm dumped several more inches of very wet snow. He also salted the deck & ice up on the roof! Above & beyond! I'm incredibly impressed with Gage & his caring nature. I will definitely be using him in a few months when I need more general work done.

I used KCM Construction for another job just recently. I wanted the tile & fixtures changed in my primary bathroom; in the shower & the tub surround. I wanted to use my existing shower doors as they were only a few years old. He measured the shower opening 3 times to make sure the width would accommodate the doors after the new tile was installed. They fit perfectly! Gage is has more integrity than any other contractor I've ever worked with. He noticed esthetic issues with a couple of areas of tiling & said he wanted to redo them at his cost. The result was awesome! He has a fantastic plumber who came in to install the new bath & shower fixtures. I highly recommend Gage & KCM Construction. He truly does care about his customers & the results of the job.

Of all the tree pruning services I've had over the years, Bright Star is by far the best experience. My trees look great! When I need other trees done, they will be my first call. I'm looking forward to seeing them leaf out in the Spring. Bright Star is highly recommended.

He put in a lot of effort to get my whirlpool washer going. Very informative and honest when trying to get it going and fair priced. Came out quickly and did all he could to make sure I got a working washer!

Wonderful service. Answered my husband quickly. He got to our house the next day and assessed the problem within 15 min. He was able to send us a link to order the part on Amazon which saved about $40. He was fair, professional and kind. We will definitely be calling him again if we need appliance repair.

We are still in the planning process but in my experience thus far Gage is not your typical contractor. He is quick to respond, a good listener and is extremely good at follow up . Excited to start the job early 2025.

Gage and his team did a great, quick job on a small, but tricky front deck replacement. We ran into a small issue a few weeks after the work had wrapped up, but he got the team back out ASAP and fixed the problem and continued to follow up a few months later to ensure we weren’t running into any further issues. Would definitely recommend for work in the Kennebunk area.

Tiffonie is a warm and kind provider with a wonderful beside manner. She truly listened to me and took into consideration my concerns regarding medications and side effects. She educated me on all possible side effects of medications and what to look out for. She was available quickly for an appointment or to discuss the side effects. She seems genuine and I am looking forward to continuing my journey with her as my provider.

Was looking at a couple of projects in middle of July and Gage came out same day to look at the site and discuss options. He was very up front and honest about the project, the cost, the start date (the next day), and when he expected to finish. We had a 12x25 covered patio done and completed within 2 weeks. It was very refreshing working with a contractor that gave up front and honest timelines as that’s usually not the case in today’s market. Would highly recommend speaking with Gage if you have a project in mind. Will definitely use him for more projects down the road.

KCM Construction really came through for us. I called a dozen contractors in the area and had very mixed experiences. When I called Gage at KCM his communication was completely different. He is extremely responsive and scheduled to meet with me the next day. I wasn't able to begin repairs for months due to waiting on my insurance company after a tree fell on our home. When I was finally able to begin I called Gage on a Friday at 6pm not expecting a call back until Monday. He called me back immediately, met with me Saturday and gave me a very reasonable timeline to begin repairs. Sunday he called me again and explained he was able to get a crew together for the following day. Monday afternoon my entire roof was DONE. It was a big job that lasted days beyond getting the shingles on and everyday my interactions with Gage were the same. He worked with an urgency that no one else we interacted with had. He (and the teams he works with) got our home back into shape in less than a week from the day I called him. Needless to say I was grateful and thanked Gage. His response "Just want to let you know you don't have to thank us for doing our job. I'm happy that you chose my business to work with and we're happy to help. We're happy to work within a budget and try to get you the most for your money." Gage is a pleasure to work with and I hope he knows that he really helped us out during a difficult time.

I had a very bad experience with a mold remediation company who had taken down a sheetrock wall and opened part of the ceiling in my basement. They did a terrible job and I needed someone to replace the wall, ceiling, moldings and insulation and bring this space back to looking like a finished basement. I lucked out when I called KCM and spoke with Gage. I texted him some pictures and he was able to give me an idea of the cost, and then he did come out to take a look at the basement and review my options. Once I made my decision, he was able to start the work a week later and after the first day I was very impressed with the speed in which they were getting the job done, which was only surpassed by the quality of what they had completed, and his prices are very fair. Gage is very good about responding to your text, day or night. Most of the work was done in 2 days and once the mud is dry he will be back to sand and finish details. I would use KCM again for future projects and know that I can trust them and the quality of their work.

I recently met Gage a couple of months ago. I was having trouble with a contractor who was gouging me on pricing. Gage figured out what the contractor had in the project and kept me from losing a lot of money. His professionalism and communication skills are unmatched in the industry. His skill level with carpentry again unmatched with fair pricing. It was refreshing to learn there is still one honest contractor out there I just had to find him. He was referred by a friend. After a tree hit our house during one of the storms we had a lot of damage that needed repair. We were fully expecting it to take months, but thanks to Gage and his team our worries did not come to fruition. Gage and his team are both high quality, efficient, and price fairly. We were so pleased with working with them we decided to also have them finish our bonus room above our garage.

It was a pleasure working with this company on our project. They had such a great attitude and was always there to answer my questions. I would highly recommend them.

A tree fell on our house during the last snow storm which required extensive repair including a new roof, deck, and significant siding replacement. After calling Gage he was able visit our house within a few hours to look at the extent of the damage and was able to have our roof done almost immediately (within days) with the deck done shortly thereafter. He was very transparent with cost, and communicated each and every step that would be taken to accomplish the project. He also took the time to help assist with communication to our insurance company as well, advocating for why certain things needed to be replaced and done right. He has a very strong work ethic and it showed over the course of our project, we are very appreciative of Gage and his teams help!

I had called other roofers but they either didn't call me back or didn't come out when they said they would. Gage not only responded quickly to my call but came out the next day and has been in great communication with me the entire time during the repair of our metal roof. It's refreshing to have someone do what they say they will do!

I posted a picture of a broken basketball hoop on Facebook, that has sat on the edge of my lawn and been the healthy entertainment of the present and past children of our neighborhood for over a decade. In early spring it was put out because the spring weather was blossoming. Nature, sent a ice storm to remind us who is in control, and a tree fell on the hoop. Gage, saw our post about the hoop and offered to buy another one in its place. 4/15/2024 Gage contacted my home and asked if we wanted it delivered. Today it sits on the same spot as the previous hoop once sat. I think Gage, deserves a heart felt thank you and keep caring even if its strangers.

I needed a wire railing deck on 100+lineal foot deck. Gage’s team completed a tricky job given many odd angles and other issues but was on time -nd budget. Also took time to visit a reference client they was very helpful! These are some shots. My tired deck boards and new tails and replacement boards will be painted/stained later after wood cures

I called KCM to address exterior waterproofing concerns for a six unit condo building. Gage and his crew pulled off the siding to reveal a much bigger problem than originally anticipated. In a week they were able to address an expansive amount of rot - replacing sheathing, securing decks, repairing holes and more before finishing it off by sealing and waterproofing everything to ensure that we don't find ourselves in this situation again. They were incredibly timely, responsive and reactive to all of the unexpected hurdles we encountered. Gage kept me informed of each part of the project along the way, including photos of what was found and what was done. If you want a project done right, these are your guys!

When I reached out to Gage for some rotten sheathing, I had no idea that it was even called sheathing… that how much I didn’t know. He was very knowledgeable and he was also friendly and patient with me while walking me through the whole process. When they were working, and they found out my project was gonna be a little bit more than what we thought it was going to be, Gage was able to explain to me everything that was going on, I never fell out of the loop, and never like I didn’t understand what was going on. They did everything they needed to to make my house safe and better than it was before while also helping me stay within my budget! Gage’s worker was quick, friendly, and cleaned my yard up spotless after he was done. Their customer service alone is enough to wanna work with them let alone the A+ work that they do!

I called KCM for a partial roof replacement. Gage responded quickly, came to look at the job and we agreed on the scope and price. Gage is great to work with, explains everything and his crew left the yard neater than it was before the job started.

Called them out to evaluate something where they could have easily made money off me with a simple lie that I would have bought.

But he gave me the truth, and some advice instead. My problem wasn't a problem.

I reached out to Gage after my basement flooded and I was essentially fleeced by a remediation company and was ghosted by a contractor. Gage came out the same day I called to look things over. He asked me what I was looking to do, I told him my priorities and gave him a very strict budget. He did every single thing on my priorities list, stuck within my budget, and communicated with me daily through the entire process. He was quick to reassure me when I was worried about things, and answered any questions I had. If there were any issues or problems he addressed them immediately.

Gage truly cares about his clients and it showed in the way he worked with me. I went into this with zero trust after everything I had dealt with. He not only earned my trust, but he kept it. He didn't try to push beyond my budget. He didn't drag out the job. I have had the HARDEST time finding any reliable contractors, landscapers...pretty much anything in Southern Maine. Nobody even returns phone calls. As a part-time resident it has been extremely frustrating. Gage restored my faith in Maine. I called him last friday, he called me back in 5 minutes, was at my house within 90 minutes to look at my roof. 4 days later the roof was installed, in one day, completely finished. He is reliable and honest and provides quality service. I will certainly be using him again for many home renovation projects I have been wanting to get done. Highly recommend.

He was able to give my family an affordable solution to fix our roof which had been causing us issues for years. Gage solved a long standing intermittent leak. Some plywood replaced and re-shingled. Though weather caused some delays he kept in touch until it cleared and came back to finish the job.

My wife and I contacted KCM Construction to fix our leaking roof. We sent a request through a search engine on a Sunday. With in 30 mins Gage called me. I told him the issue and he came right out on Sunday to inspect our roof. He and one of his crew spent over an hour here and determined he could do the repair to stop our leaks. 2 days later he came back fixed our roof and has also been in contact with us after a couple storms to make sure it was fixed and not leaking. He has been great to work with and will definitely use him on upcoming projects we have to update our house. You will not regret using KCM Construction.
