K Single Corp Roofing

K Single Corp previouslt helped me patch a leak caused by a wind storm and age, and inspected the rest of the roof to give me a fair estimate on the remainder of time my roof had left. they did not push me at all as they gave it a couple more years. I opted to go ahead and replace the roof to best preserve the house, and they offered me a very reasonable rate and even took the care and extra steps to add plywood over the old fashioned build style lumber roof for my very old home to ensure coverage with the warranty. The office and the crew were all kind and professional, and the crew worked very hard on my steep angled roof, and after the job was done they even located any extra debris that fell into foliage from the removal of the old shingles. I had an excellent experience and am so thankful!

The K Single Team was awesome. They provided prompt and fair pricing for my repair, accommodated a few changes on the fly and sent two competent and professional crews to my house to complete the work. I'm happy I made the choice to go with K Single Roofing.

We purchased our home 14 years ago. Our roof started to leak. After investigating the cause, it was apparent there were significant issues that required a new roof. We used the usual sources such as recommendations from friends and reviews from public sources such as Google, Next Door, Etc. We received 4 quotes all of which were very close in price. We selected K Single Corp based upon other reviews and the thoroughness of their proposal. Isidro Amaya, The Project Manager was also very responsiveness to questions regarding scope of work.

When the construction crew removed the existing shingles, and tar paper, it was apparent the original tongue and groove underlayment that was installed when the home was built in 1955 was severely damaged and needed to be replaced. I was aware of this potential issue and estimated the material and labor cost to replace the underlayment. The price K Signal quoted was less than anticipated. Having been in the construction industry for over 30 years, I know number of other contractors would take advantage of this change order and escalate the price to increase profit. This would require trying to negotiate the change order and potential arguments. It was refreshing and commendable that K Signal took a different approach.

The entire construction team was friendly, talented, respectful, hardworking and consensus. Isidro was great to work with. I would not hesitate to use them again.

But even more, I was impressed with the quality of service you provided. Your willingness to change the roofing color at the last minute when you noticed it would not match, no, insisted it be changed, went above my expectations. This concern and attention for detail has made a huge difference in the outcome. It is elegant. Your crew also left the premises perfectly cleaned after finishing the job and were watchful in protecting the abundance of bushes and trees they had to work around in our landscaping. Very impressive! Finally, we appreciate that you took the time ahead of the work, to get on our steep roof and personally examine the scope of damage, show us with photos the needed repair, and suggested solutions we might have to resolve the issue. K Single has completed two roof repairs for me; one on my house and one on a commercial building I own. Both jobs were done efficiently and professionally. I will use them again if the need for another roof repair becomes necessary.

Fantastic crew to work with. We hired K Single to redo our PVC Roof, build an awning, install solatubes, and paint our house. Isidro was very responsive throughout the whole process. He initially came to our house in Dec 2023 and worked through our timeline and revisions, starting the project in Sept 2024.

During the project, we had a few surprises/delays, and Isidro's Team was very responsive in getting things back on track. I also appreciated K Single Corp team making me aware of potential issues rather than taking shortcuts without my input (recurring theme with other contractors we've worked with).

I would highly recommend K Single Corp for your roofing projects. The budget was exactly in line with their estimate and timing was faster than expected. While the painting was overall good, I would primarily recommend K Single for roofing. You can see the awesome work before and after in the photos attached.

Great company! Amazing work! Exceptionally professional team, they took the time to make sure the new roof was perfect. I have an older home, a 1937 Tudor. To install a new roof isn't something easy, older homes take longer, need more attention to detail and can be a work in progress. You never know what will show up.

This company delivered! It took more days than they said but I was fine with it, this isn’t a new home with a more modern roof slope. The roof is guaranteed for 30 years and it looks wonderful!

Very happy with the service. We had a leak from portion of our flat roof. Another company came fix it without any luck. Wanted a second opinion and called K single corp.They came quoted with a bid slightly lower than the other companies but for larger scope of work.

During repairs, they discovered several other issues on other part of the roof. They did a patch for free for me. After their fix, our roof has been safe and sound. Very happy with the result.

Great service and fair and honest pricing. I needed some repairs and the normal roofing company was only doing new roofs at the time, so they referred me to K Single. They came out to examine the areas. When I mentioned that since I had similar vents on the other side of the house, they should do preventative work and replace them. But he insisted on climbing up and checking -- and came back and said there was no need to replace those as well. A lesser company wouldn't have bothered to check.

Job is still in progress. I’ve used them in the past on a small commercial building and they did a great job. Now there doing my home and so far so good. Crew is very professional.

We were referred to K Single Corp when our solar installer informed us of a problem with our roof that wasn't picked up during inspection. We had to scramble fast to keep the project on track. Contacted K Single Corp for a structural repair to my roof. They came out on a Friday to do the estimate and send they would email me with it on Monday. I never received the estimate, it's been 3 weeks and I've made several follow up calls without ever receiving a return phone call.

It was easy to call and organize a visit from the estimator, Jose. Jose had a sharp eye and was able to spot the issue with the roof immediately, much quicker than other roofers, without even us pointing out the issue. He immediately (within the first two minutes of us meeting) provided a different solution than other roofers I had called, and wrote a cost estimate without breaking out tasks into line items. This >$3000 number was scribbled on a piece of paper that he took when he left.

Jose said he would email me the details, but never got back. I called them two weeks later, and they said they would send it right over. I called them again a week later, and they promised they'd send it over. It's been over a month and I haven't seen the estimate yet.

Needless to say, this was a waste of time, and after talking to a few more contractors, I question the competence, professionalism, and thoroughness of K Single Corp. I wouldn't waste your time calling these folks, as it didn't result in us getting closer to solving the problem.

Fixed a few leaks from our roof and chimney. Very prompt service, reasonable pricing, and leaks seem to have been resolved.

Excellent roof repair work and reasonable prices. Also installed new gutter screens so I don’t have to climb ladder to clean leaves this past winter! Will contact again for future work!

I had a siding contractor tell me my flat vinyl roof was in disrepair and needed to be replaced (it’s three stories up and we’d just moved in so I hadn’t bought a ladder tall enough to get up there). They were going to charge us $20k to replace, so I wanted a second opinion. K Single Corp sent an inspector out who combed across the entire roof and determined that it was fine. Two years later, the roof is still in great shape. Great service, HONEST team. When it does come time to replace this roof, this is who I will call.

Had them install new Hardie board siding on shed. They did a terrific job, will use them again the future.

K Single was recommended to us by another contractor. We were looking to replace a skylight that had suddenly shattered (for unclear reasons; maybe temperature or some falling object?) K Single was great in responding quickly, giving a very fair quote, showing up exactly when they said, and doing high quality work while leaving a clean working area. Couldn't ask for anything more! I'll call them first for the next project we need.

We recently contracted K Single Corp to repair and reconstruct our bedroom level deck. Isidro Amaya was prompt in providing us an estimate of the cost and scheduling our repair dates. The repair crew arrived at the scheduled times and worked diligently for several days keeping the area protected from the weather throughout. They were very professional and kept us informed of their progress. When more extensive water damage was found than originally anticipated, they showed us their findings and explained exactly what further repairs were needed. We had a new roof put on our garage and painted the exterior. K Single was good on the price and the quality looks great. Will use them again in the future.

They replaced our roof and skylights. On the skylight replacement they installed the wrong ones. When notified there was no fuss, they had the right ones in within a week no problems. Everyone makes mistakes and I love companies that fix errors this well.

On the negative, they clogged the heck out of my gutters. I tried for months to get them to come out and fix those with no luck. I’ve cleared them myself the best I could without climbing on the roof. Now It’s dumping rain and there’s another gutter that’s clogged and running over. Highly annoying.

I would hire them again. On the important stuff they do a good job and it’s hard to find contractors who do the main thing well. But I would absolutely micro manage their gutter cleaning.

Scheduled an appointment for a free consultation at 12:00. By 12:30 the consultant had not shown up, nor had I received any phone call, text, or email from the company. I called and was told the individual was running late and would be there by 13:00. By 13:30 there was still no consultant, and again, no communication on the company's part. I called them back again to cancel, as I was now busy with work meetings. Nobody who is this bad with scheduling and communication is going to be performing any amount of structural work on my house.

We were in a jam and needed someone quick. We googled and found K Single and they absolutely exceeded expectations. Did what they said the would do. Worked fast. And probably the biggest compliment I could give is that I felt like they could have bent me over backwards / took advantage of me and charged me more and they did not. BTW - they refaced the entire front of my house which is on the water (water and salt rot).

They replaced siding around a large window when other companies were nervous to take on the project. They also were able to custom rebuild windows that were rotting and 40 years old so that they marched the rest of the house.

True finishing carpentry skills were required to do this and it turned out perfectly.

We had K Single Corp manufacture and install some custom metal caps on our roof support beams because they were being chewed on by animals that had found their way onto our roof. In addition, they replaced a significantly damaged portion at the end of one of the support beams.

After being in my house for almost 50 yeas it was time for a new roof. I selected K Single Corp after getting 7 bids. They were not the lowest bid, but the staff were professional, helpful, and they had a senior discount. They brought 2 teams and completed the house and garage roof in 1 day. The foreman provided pictures for me to watch the progress because I could not climb up on the roof. Every member of the two on-site teams were great. And they did an outstanding job of removing all debris! From the bid to the payment all of the K staff provided a positive experience. A year later I noticed a water leak. They quickly sent a team of 2 to take a look and they discovered the chimney top had come loose. They added sealant and new screws to secure the chimney top & stop the leak. I do not know any roofing company who would quickly and politely respond, and make a repair that wasn't part of the original project. Great! Had a few small things to fix in my roof, including a leak. I was really impressed with the speed of response - they gave me an estimate within 24 hours of first contact, it took me a week to decide to hire them, and then they completed the work the same day I accepted the estimate. We've had several hard rains since the repairs and no more leaks. Communication was clear and complete including photos of all work done. No complaints.

K single Corp. came out and gave me a quote for a roof repair that involved replacing compromised plywood from water damage. The quote was reasonable and they scheduled the work quickly and completed the work with high quality. They sent me before and after photos and communicated with me the entire time. Will definitely use them again in the future.

I was referred to K-Single through another roofing company that was unable to help me. They were able to send someone right away for emergency repair to secure a damaged roof. The securing held fine 2-3 week and survived the rains without causing any additional damage. These guys know what they are doing.
I also received a quote for a final repair, but went with another bid due to difference in cost. I would not hesitate to do business with K-Single again should the need arise!
