I recently had the pleasure of working with K&B Construction for a full exterior renovation of my single-family home, and I couldn’t be more impressed. From the initial planning stages to the final touches, the professionalism from Scott and his team was truly unmatched. They installed James Hardie premium fiber cement siding, PVC trim, and metal wrap, transforming the exterior of my home into something truly stunning.

What stood out the most was their outstanding communication throughout the project. I received regular updates and always felt informed about the progress. They consistently checked in to ensure I was happy with how things were progressing, which made the entire experience stress-free.

The construction team’s attention to detail was impeccable. Every aspect of the work was done with care and precision, resulting in a flawless finish. Their commitment to quality and excellence was evident from start to finish.

I rated somewhere in the middle because I cannot speak on behalf of the actual service provided, but I was behind one of your drivers going out into the Pungo area and they were driving erratically enough they almost went off the road/into the other lane several times and were tailgating the person in front of them (if you have to hit your brakes 500 times, you're too close). The license on the truck was KBINC3.
Like I said, I'm sure the quality of work your company does speaks for itself based on the positive reviews, and call me strange, but I don't think I'd want anyone who drives that poorly to be working on my home. I hope they're spoken to before they cause an accident.

I called Scott about the siding and damage around my 20 year old home. He made several recommendations and gave me a fair price. He gave me a date in which his crew would start and they were actually a few weeks early. The guys were there on time and worked daily beyond 5pm. They were professional and efficient. All repairs and painting was completed and it looks amazing! I highly recommend K&B Construction and will be using them again for future projects.

We had a major exterior renovation in winter of 2024.
Scott was very informative and knowledgeable about metal roofing, new windows, hardy plank and new garage doors that was being used on our home.
His team of George, Tommy and David were wonderful. They were hard working and kept the worksite well maintained, as we continued to live thru the renovation.

This is the company and crew to trust. If you ever had to live in a house during remodel it is very difficult. Scott and Team worked around our scheduled and maintained their time line. Cleaned up everyday. Next project up, Scott will be involved.

We had a strange difficult job that required relocation of large plumbing drain lines. K&B lined us up with a great plumber, then took care of framing, siding, gutters, and a bunch of other details I wouldn't have anticipated. They recommended small tweaks to the job that made it much better in the end. They are at the top of our list for all home improvement projects now.

I cannot say enough about how amazing this company is. Scott and Pat are godly men of integrity. They have an amazing team that they work with. When we hit a speed bump in the execution of my house plans, they involved me and my home designer, Brian Fentress, in any decision making that needed to be made to correct the problem. And the solutions turned out better than the original plans. I was involved during the whole process. They helped guide and direct me through it all. I enjoyed every contractor who worked with them. PM Electric did an amazing job and the guys were very respectful. Scott cared so much about my house that I caught him on many occasions sweeping the floors after workers went home. Carol, the office manager, helped to keep the process of payments and paperwork organized and running smoothly. She is still a huge help when I need a name or number for contractor for maintenance. MJN did a great job on my trim and closets. Still love my R&W cabinets. Everyone did their part and no delays in product or work other than weather delays, which could not be helped. I never had to worry about quality of their work or if they were using my money wisely. I even left the country for a week and never worried if work was being done or done correctly. They were always on top of things. I love my house and the quality that went into it. You could not ask for a better company and team to build your house.

Amazing service, highly responsive and outstanding quality by K&B made our home renovation experience extremely positive!!! We used K&B for a medium-sized project in early 2022 and then contracted them for a large addition and house remodeling later in the year. Scott and his team were excellent! They were prompt, clean, respectful of our neighbors, very knowledgeable and performed high quality work! They listened to our ideas and offered suggestions that ultimately provided a result exceeding our expectations. It isn't easy to compare value among builder quotes and how valuable the knowledge and quality of craftsmen's workmanship will be for a project but after selecting Scott's company, we had no doubt we made the right decition. In addition, Scott's understanding of current building codes, K&B's strong relationships with suppliers and sub contractors, awareness of advancements in structural building methods, knowledge of new products and details about their performance, function and finishing aesthetics all contributed to an amazing finished product. Those attributes and skills delivered exceptional value! It's obvious to us that K&B takes tremendous pride in their work and holds themselves to the highest standard in the industry. Outstanding work
On a renovation and repair at my house. Work was scheduled in a timely manner and I or was done as scheduled. Workers were polite and did excellent work. They cleaned up each time they came. I felt like we became friends. I highly recommend this company for quality work.

K & B Construction Inc. did an exceptional job installing James Hardie Fiber Cement Siding to the exterior of our home in Sandbridge. It was an pleasure working with Scott and his team from start to finish.

Owner, Scott Dickey, and his crew replaced the windows, siding and railings of our home. My wife and I could not have been more happy with the work and how smoothly the process went. His crew have been together for years and it shows, there was lots of attention to detail throughout the job. I highly recommend K & B Construction!!!

I would highly recommend Scott Dickey and K&B Construction. Our house was built in 1958 and needed a total remodel on the exterior. We had a number of contractors look at the house, but none of them returned. I mentioned this to Scott when I first met him. His response was "we get things done!" K&B construction lived up to this. We had the old vinyl siding replaced with James Hardie sliding. This siding made an old house look new. We also had all the windows, flat roof and HVAC system (including new duct work) replaced. K&B did concrete work downstairs, which solved draining issues and added 500-600 sq feet of living space. All this work was of the highest quality and Scott's team cleaned up at the end of every day. It was well worth the money we spent.
