JRV was super fast and efficient putting our new roof on. It looks great and communication was excellent. Apparently we have a notoriously difficult insurance company to work with, and Josh ensured he was here at the same time as the adjuster to highlight damage he'd found. They've been very flexible with the insurance claim process. I'd highly recommend them to anyone!

I was happy with the service. When I was deciding on whether or not to purchase the house, they were willing to take a look at the roof and give me a quote for free even if I might not have ended up buying the house and using their service. They honored their initial quote even though it was several months later, and they fixed the roof, and I'm not seeing any leaks.

JRV did an amazing job on our roof. Start to finish took 3 days and in our neighborhood it has taken other companies 4-5 days to finish jobs on other houses. They did a great job and worked hard to get everything done as quick as they did. Would recommend to everyone needing a roof done. They are the shingle best!

We discovered dampness and what appeared to be a leak in our attic and I called Josh at JRV Exteriors to take a look at the roof for us. The work was completed in a very reasonable time frame followed up by an exceptional job in clean up. JVC used new advances in roofing material and helped choose a roof that best matched my needs. I m provided a 10 year warranty for workmanships and feel very confident in a timely response if needed, and I’m pretty certain it won’t be. Finally, in terms of working out the economic aspects for the job, everything was on the ups with no unreasonable requirements or hassles from either side.

Josh and his team replaced our roof this weekend. They stripped off 2 layers of old shingles and replaced some rotten roof boards for us. They were able to complete the job VERY quickly but more important professionally. His workers were polite and did a great job with clean up. Would highly recommend JRV Roofing to anyone.

Josh and his crew did an excellent job of repairing a previously unknown amount of damaged wood decking, rafters, soffit, and fascia before shingling my roof. They also installed modern venting in my 100-yr. old home.

The crew also completed the removal of my chimney, replacing the roof on my garage, and installed new gutters and downspouts on both buildings.

I couldn't be happier with the work they performed or the completion time - especially given the amount or replacement required. I am confident in my roof envelope for the first time since I bought the house and have no fear of winter or spring.

Josh returned my voice message on a Saturday, came out on Monday to give me a quote and look at a leak. Much to my relief, he caulked an area of potential leakage for me on the spot as we knew it was scheduled to rain all day the next day. He was honest, prompt, professional, and tried to ward off the leak for me. Would most definitely recommend!

Needed a shingle replacement on an older roof; Josh came out same day to give an estimate and his guy replaced the missing shingle the next day. Fast and affordable!

Honestly I didn’t think it was worth leaving a review since it’s all said and done but frankly I feel like it’s my responsibility to let other homeowners know of the quality of work done so they can make informed decisions. I got my roof replaced in may of 2022. Josh’s crew dropped off a dumpster in front of my house a day or two before the work was done and they showed up on time. They were efficient in tearing off the roof and gutters of my house and garage but the issues came when it was time to put the new roof on. For some odd reason my house has a 2” gap between the decking and the fascia. They did eventually add in 2x1 strips but that doesn’t solve the waterproofing issue which still existed.This was never properly addressed by Josh and when I brought it up to him, he brushed it off saying that the gutter would pull into the ends of the rafters, which would address the gap. He kept saying this despite me repeatedly calling and texting him that i had concerns about it. Ultimately I wasn’t knowledgeable enough in that period of time to properly argue with him so I let it go. The day the roof went on, all the gutters and a 15’ section of drip edge were not accounted for and were installed another day. The drip edge around the house was installed sloppily and when Josh and his worker came later to install the remaining 15’ of drip edge, it was another type and when installed it buckled up a section of shingles (you can see this in the pictures). On top of this the dumpster was left for 1-2 weeks in front of my house and we had aggressive and hostile altercations with scrappers who were flinging shingles all over the lawn. Not the fault of JRV but his failure to call in the dumpster to be removed definitely is. Also his team didn’t clean whatsoever. I had my window wells filled with shingles and the area around my lawn was littered with full shingles, nails and even packaging. They cleaned nothing at all. So here’s where I’m at. The roof was installed and hasn’t leaked despite a brutal winter, the gutters work fine, but the drip edge, fascia gap, and communication/responsiveness/knowledge, as well as the general pride his team seems to take in their work really lacks. Frankly I wouldn’t recommend JRV roofing. There was something really crappy about how he took valid concerns about improper installation and just brushed them off. If I could do it again I’d go elsewhere even though it was more expensive. I’ve attached pictures to show what I’m talking about.

We had JRV do our roof 4 years ago with no issues. With the storms recently… a decent sized branch fell onto our roof damaging some shingles. After contacting Josh about the issue, he came out 2 days later and replaced the shingles. I would recommend JRV to anyone!
